Hi guys, we also worship Murugan in Kandy, Srilanka. You see we're not so different from Srilankan Tamils in many ways. Sri Lankan Tamis are closely related to the Sinhalese(sharing a common gene pool of 55%) and to a lesser extent to Indian Tamils. It's proven bitter fact! Anyhow this actress Savitir or something, from Kerala right? Isn't it Malayalam offshoot of Tamil? What is history of yours tells you? Chera(Malayalese), Chola, Pandy right! ha ha see you people also divided!

@kunchepanda : I am really amazed at your knowledge. you are right (about being divided et al) except one thing. Savithri is telugu (Andhra Pradesh) which as a matter of fact is not really different too. As the traditional tamil country has had constant interactions (migration, marriage among the royal families etc) with the people from modern day andhra through-out the history.

@amperia2 True! Even though she was over weight she was heroine until 1970s..our telugu Tamil audience looked at her expressions and talent not her physic.. how nice audience they were. She is natural artist thast why she is appraised as great actress in south.Her smile is like " Veena ravam". her action in "Chivaraku migiledi" telugu movie was such a great. no one can beat her.
