i have a true 383 stroker in a 1984 mazda rx7 it is a 350sbc bored 0.60 with a 350 crank and im making 500hp at the crank with out the N.O.S i would like to know whats done to that motor 2 that gives it 575 hp if it is with out the bottle cuz on the bottle i make another 350hp so thats 850hp all together
@egokiller73 my 575 hp are with out n.o.s and i add 100 hp with n.o.s only because i have an stock chevy block not an race block, it's limit for my engine.It's very nice to install an engine like this in an rx7 cause you have an light car !my car is heavy , 3600 pounds... see camaro84.monchar.com
yea i'd like to know what is in this making 575hp, the exhaust could be throwing me off quite a bit but the cam doesn't sound much more than 230-240° @ .050. is that 575 on spray, as the 575hp to 487tq is a bit one sided as spray tends to do. i like the car as you can see by my name i like 3rd gens. i have an 87' with a 385cid, 248/252 @ 050 with .582/.582" (intake has a corrected lift of .620" with 1.6 rockers), 10.4:1 compression, DART 215cc platinum pro 1's with additional work done
@my87z28 to the heads and intake, hooker super comps, going through 3" pipes into dynomax bullets. i've had it proffessionally dyno tested and tuned by the shop who did all my machine work, it came out at 529hp and 512tq. can run on 93 octane but i use an additve. my best run yet is 7.19 @ 92mph (1/8), 11.36 @ 118mph (1/4). i would really like to hear what you have in yours
@chevymotor on this website you list 355 stroker 388 now a 355 is a 350/ 4.000" bored to 4.030" you can not make this bore into a 388. a standard bore 4.000 with a 3.75" crank is a 376cid, a 4.030" with a 3.75 crank is a 383cid, a 4.040" with a 3.75 crank is a 385 and a 4.060" with a 3.75 crank is a 388.

@chevymotor 12.00's in a 3600lbs car is not 500+hp, even with stock suspension. remember i have the same car. i used to have a 355 in it that made about 425-435hp and it ran 12.40's then. ive built quite a few motors and it does take 250-260°+ @ .050, .600" + lift, 12.0:1, a very good set of (not out of the box) heads, single plane intake and 850-950cfm DP turning a 383 upwards of 6800-7000 rpm to hit 575-600ish horsepower.
im not gunna lie great car.im a firm beleiver in no spray in a muscle tho.i jus think that if you are building a muscle it should be all motor no spray thats jus me tho.its still a bad ass car.good job man.
