I'm on a dedicated Walmart Account in Riverside, Ca. They started me at 39 cents per mile and $20.00 a stop after the first one. I gross $1,000.00 a week.
It all depends on how you slot yourself for the next run. Got to keep those Macro 18s current.
Would u give us more detail's please. The reason I ask is I've heard this sentiment suggested before, but never got much in the way of support for the statement.
I have heard that drivers have to cut down on there speed in order to save money. Doesn't this mean u make less money. And should'nt drivers get paid by the hr. now do to this?
It's probably better to be an owner and have somebody else drive, while u set home and make money! You'd probably have to have a few trucks on the road to do this, but u all get the idea.
Yeah right at $4.25-almost $5 a gallon anverage truck may get 7mpg or less, that's the most it can get. Plus paying the drivers? Nah better off working for a comapany.

Is it better to be an owner-operator so that you can at least come home every night and get paid a little more?
