We hear Iran, iran, iran in regards to this crash, but the plan was full of mostly ARMENIAN passengers...Armenian citizens and Iranian-Armenians. we keep hearing about the iranins in this crash, but the whole plane was full of Armenians and about 10 100% iranians.

mbleek2001- Pay attention please. The aircraft was a Russian made Tupolev 154 and owned by Caspian Air which is a joint Russian-Iranian venture.

Sanctions have not stopped Iran's nuclear weapons program. Even with the sanctions Iran's govt seems to always get what they feel they need from Russia. Considering the relationship between Russia and Iran, airplane parts could get thee without fail if they wanted to get them there. The point is thee is NO WAY to blame the US or UN for this.

mikkitiny- Go to the caspian air web site. where you will see for yourself the site is Russian. Did you bother to check the facts? Caspian Air was created in 1993 by Russian and Iranian partners.There was probably some economic aid and support from the kremlin too. It is, in fact, a Russian & Iranian joint venture. sorry :^/

i found some mentioning of russians though. no any details of what and who, just noticing that foundation of the company was a joint iranian and russian interests. the company has no office in Russia, but has in Ukraune and Armenia. it never flew to any russian city. so, if some russians have some shares in the company along with Rafsanjani (lol) they are unknown in russian aviation industry. not big russian air transportation figures. ok?

mikkitiny's information is correct but incomplete. Caspian air has an iran hq and a russian hq also. you forgot to mention the caspian air russian division web site. They are partners now and always have been.since it is funded by russin stakeholders.almost every news article from the international media clearly stated there is a relationship.
