  • fun and games till some one gets a toy robot to the dome from 95000 feet up

  • 4:15 .... That's when the necromorphs attack. Dead Space all over again

  • 4:44 you can see the popped weather balloon in the background

  • That was Awesome!

  • fucking sick!

  • this is best when you're stoned.

  • Awesome video, but next time send up a hamster in heated glass bubble!

  • FAKE!!!

  • Read the description guys, it's mentioned that they used a mini GPS tracker.

  • how did you find the camera when it landed?

  • @pauljpuodziukas They more than likely used a GPS tracker.

  • Bummer the lego man dudes got all the publicity and now you guys even though you did it before them!

  • nobody matters that toy robot lol

  • all people when a small thing w/ a camera goes near to space always asks "How did you recover it?

  • one word, INCREDIBLE !!!

  • What happens if on the way f

  • It seemed to be two layers of clouds at 5:05

Pilot: What the hell is that?

    Robot: OMG ITS A PLAN-hgfgdgjydfjhryfgjdgfdshjgsjhfgj

Pilot: There is some minor turbulence.

    Robot: gdgffagsdfjegrtfirytiu8745ytiuy85hhgsh

  • Question: What camera housing did you use; the waterproof one or the one with holes on the back? And, did you have to use any condensation absorbent inside the GoPro housing? As I understand it during the ascend there will be a slight pressure build up inside a waterproof housing which will be compensated by the low tempreature when reaching higher air. I can not se any build up of condensation inside the housing though. Any comments on this, anybody? /Tille, TeamM

  • @TilleTeamM No housing and no condensation absorbent - just the naked GoPro. Full kit list in the blog link in the description.

  • meh

  • what happens if it hits someone's car???.....or falls in water??

  • Now launch a furby, without a parachute.

  • How was the entire flight, without editing ?

Very nice video, thank you for posting it

  • imagine getting struck by that robot BUZZ KILLL!

  • Charles Trippy send me here. CTFxC FTW. Nice video!

  • 4:52 how babies are made.

  • now see why cant this concept be applied to real rockets i mean yeah it would take a gigantic weather balloon maybe more but save a fortune on fuel trying to break the gravitational pull of the earth or maybe im just thinking out my ass

  • What happened around 4:20??

  • @kyussfan6 We all smoked up and got high as fuck

  • @kyussfan6 The balloon popped cuz of temprature or pressure, and the thing started falling back to earth. Isnt that kinda obvious?

  • @nwfklan Ha im not a balloonist

  • love the landing :)

  • *Kuss* Mmm.. Blue42hut. We have an unidentified flying object slowly approaching our way. *over* *Kuss* Mmm.. Proceed to shoot it down. *over*

  • Damn, remind me to wear my helmet next time I step outside.

  • i think that toy woundt stop saying BRING ME BACK TO SPACE O_O

  • Oops! Forgot to hit record...

  • 4:15 Houston, j'ai un problème !

  • looks like the same launch site of the james may's budgie 35

  • is this true ??

  • Holy scoobydo bido !

  • space? SPACE! SPAAAAAAAAAACEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • bye bye el roboto we will not miss you!

  • How did you get that camera back on earth?

  • @Qrorpl photoshop

  • @Qrorpl naa whit a parasuit. that what we did when we did something simelar. we had a gps on it to find it later

  • @Qrorpl the ballon poped at the peak alt and it fell to the ground

  • @Qrorpl Watch until the end! :)

  • @Qrorpl Let's just ignore the fact that It was attached to the robot

  • @Qrorpl *recneck voice* Yall know what this AR-16 is?

  • @Qrorpl read the whole description

  • @Qrorpl It came back on earth? watch the whole video before commenting.

  • @Qrorpl Once that balloon gets high enough it pops.. the parachute deploys as the camera falls to earth, and then they porbably used a GPS tracker to find the robot and camera.

  • you're amazing. well done

  • What made the balloon pop? Coldness?

  • Comment removed

  • @12871mike Coooool.. Wouldn't "boil" though.. more bubble cause it's not getting hotter than 100 degrees it's just sucking all the gasses out.

  • @12871mike But you'd freeze before any of this.. cool in theory but the temperature would just beat it.

  • How did you find this? :L the camera

  • Enjoy the silence ;-)

    Soooo fuckin' coooool!!!

  • shot would have bin a lot better without the robot thing blocking the view, well done do,

  • imagene you be the robot

  • Freeze frame at 4:08 cool shot. I like this better than lego Man

  • balloon pop at 4:11

  • Oh my god 4:30 I'm gonna puke haha!

  • I have been in space once

  • Those canadian kids have stole this idea from these guys and another group that have done it before them

  • balloon popped at 4:15

  • Comment removed

  • @DimitriDas1 Plus this effort was 2 years earlier. The sleazy Canadians just copied this stunt without giving credit.

  • @agiantman Agreed (and I'm from Vancouver).

  • respect

  • haha cool! but what if it hit someone?

  • cool AS dudes, im so doing this with a potato

  • LOL I would have put eather a toy police box or a toy of one of the daleks into space XD

  • That's one durable camera!

  • 1st toy to be in space!!/ , not legoman

  • Utterly Brilliant - well done sir

  • 14 people are mad cause they cant get to space

  • it is amazing

  • Robots travel whare no robots have traveled before!!! :D

  • When will they land on the moon?

  • i mean turn on the camera

  • what if they forgot to turn in the camera.. lol

  • 6:17 Videoception ;)

  • NEXT TIME MAKE SURE NOT TO DO THIS ON A CLOUDY DAY

  • @yoviagnrenuruguay Lmao, you are retarded. You do realize what you see as a "noncloudy day" is cloudy in reality. There are high-atmospheric clouds and the you have to think you are viewing the earth from high up and only fractions are going to be non cloudy.

  • nice job, thx for sharing

  • How did you find it?

  • @CharioSsS theyy had a gps on it

  • Very cool

  • Did you have to get a special permit from FAA or someone to launch this? We in the model rocket field need to get one when we fly into air space.

  • Coool

  • 5:05 i hear screaming??

  • its a bird! it a plane?....no its a toy robot lol

  • Great project! Well done!!!

  • ugh... why not just green screen it?

  • that thing would have been landet in fucking china or some where else hahah

  • quite an amazing experiment!

  • "What's your favorite thing about space? Mine is space."

"Space going to space can't wait."

    "Spaaaaaaaaaace..."

  • wholly crap. thats all i have to say. wholly crap!!

  • @11JoJobeans Holy. Dumbfuck.

  • 4:42 you can see the balloon falling

  • Terrific Idea and very very nice. The unfiltered sunlight above the clouds playing over the robot is very beautiful

  • "I can see it all! I'm in space! Spaaaaaaaace!"

  • '

wow very neat cooooool this video,,,

    i am envy, haha

  • nice, but what if it meets a plane? you think there is no risk?

  • Awesome video and extremely awesome idea!!!!!! That was a blast going to the edge of space. Most innovative video I've ever seen. Two thumbs up my friend.

  • amazing !

Im guessing to find it they must have had a tracking device on it.

  • How did they find it?????

  • @Kenzi0425able A GPS chip I guess...

    Awesome video guys!

  • @Kenzi0425able GPS tracking

  • Can't believe it only fell 11 miles away - I would think it would fly hundreds of miles away...

  • Added to favorite!

  • 4:42 wtf fire in the background?? 4:49 too . what is that?

  • @AwaKe1909 the remains of the weather balloon.

  • Man you ruined the video when you skipped scenes, just let it play through FOR FUCK SAKE!

still good vid but damn !

  • I want a weather balloon!

  • Excellent footage

  • SPACE JUNK!?

  • Amazing!

  • Possibly the best GoPro video yet! Concept 10/10. Implementation 10/10. Results 10/10. Very well done! :-)

  • how did you recover it?

  • @Mrinfoone Gps attatched

  • Awesome video and I love Robby, but you're going to have to triple that distance to earn his astronaut wings. Space is 62 miles, or 327,360 ft up. A balloon will not get you there, gonna need a rocket.

  • Does the balloon pop on it's own at a certain altitude or is it controlled from the ground?

  • @Ferreal92 It pops naturally because of its increase in volume due to the decrease in atmospheric pressure.

  • @Tocinator Thanks!

  • the people who disliked this video are stuck underground

  • my rocket goes higher about 121,000 feet witch is 42 miles up

  • @darknessXsmash its 42 km

  • Crap. That gopro camera will not withstand the temp or pressure.

    Good one though ;)

  • Hey! The doctor repainted his TARDIS

  • How do you predict where it will land? Please reply- Thanks

  • @dannyandfriendsshow please relay that reponse to me - Thanks

  • @WTDproductions10 ? What do you want me to do?

  • @dannyandfriendsshow

gps transmitters show the location and attitude

  • @DIExxENE The can also locate it

  • how did you keep the gopro from freezing?

  • this video is cool

  • How have you found the balloon and which camera keeps the icy temperatures at these altitudes?

  • 4:44 falling balloon

  • So I can just put on a space suit and strap myself to bigass helium balloon and il go to space???

  • @awsomenumberone

    yeah why not?

take a parasuit and u might land and survive ^^

  • Lil' Darth Vader learns how to fly... ;-)

  • This is epic, i'm just curious what it cost to do this.

  • though its still sick

  • its seems fake the robot never moved yet the background did

  • In space, no-one can hear you scream...

  • can i buy the robot?

  • that was freaking awesome! boy the ground comes up quick. Death to the queen! she killed diana and i loved diana, thoes poor boys..

  • What goes up must come down!

  • this is awesome! this rocks!

  • Should have sent a TARDIS!

  • How in the world does the view of the world look curved inward one minute (convex) and look curved outward (concave) the next. At times it almost looks like a sine wave. You can pause the video and suddenly the earth goes from Flat to curved. Can someone explain why we are seeing this optical illusion?

  • @secretbonus I believe it has to do with using a close up on a very wide angle or almost fish-eye lens. I would try going to a camera store and asking to look at the widest angle lens they have and then look at the horizon and tilt the camera up and down a bit. It might work.

  • @secretbonus because of the fisheyelens, maybe....

  • He sees @4:20 and he gets messed up!

  • STILL No STars

  • @QHealing Thats because of the sun and the camera being over-exposed

  • @QHealing its becase of the sun light you dont see them. if they did a night launch you could; provided the moon light does not over shine the stars. They are out there..

  • @QHealing the sun is a star, does it count?

  • @QHealing because of the sun.
