personally, i think this optimus version had the best potential of all the versions i have seen, g1 or otherwise...with the lack of the matrix of leadership exception, he has peter cullen's voice (battleblade version), he lights up, he has authentic rig sounds, and if he were taken abit further to somehow include a matrix, he would have essentially everything in an optimus a collector could hope for.
