@richyjjsmith Still debating doing the whole thing. Of course I would need to cast others, as the journal entries aren't all from the point of view of Harker. But would be an interesting project.
Hi! I was looking for Dracula- book in British English. You seem to be first who made it! Made it complete, it sounds perfect! Perfect voice for this interesting story!
You are a great narrator. I would definitely purchase an audiobook narrated by you. Great job! If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take you to master the art of book narration?
I'm also interested in audio book narration, but am nowhere near as competent as you at this point. Please check out my Dracula Voice Over slide show and tell me what you think. I don't mind if you think it's rubbish.. for now, I'm just looking for feedback of any kind to improve.
@TucoRamirez2 Well, not terribly long, actually. I very much enjoy public speaking and voice acting and so I decided that I wanted to do something like this. Turned out to be quite enjoyable. I shall check yours out!
@LordJazor@LordJazor I wish I could do a killer accent like yours. I just started practicing the British accent a couple days ago and needs a lot refining. It's hard, but worth the effort. I'm probably sure you know about ACX. If don't, check them out. It's a great site were, where you can audition to record books. You can choose straight pay or share revenues.
twilight is not that bad, just an other world of vampire but in truth I like drac much more, and you read it really well, you have my thanks for posting this
@Marcuslow111 By asking me in a message and giving me your e-mail. XD And I haven't recorded the whole book. Just this portion. There is also a Part 2 because the whole bit wouldn't fit in one video at the time.
I sadly admit I never read the complete novel...but man, this is just plain good. you should definitely make a series of these, it'll not only entertain, but allow people to discover some literary works of art.
@LordJazor I wasn't saying you were, there was a comment above mine. I meant no offense to you, your reading of Dracula was very good, like the accents :)
@JennyAndHerGuitar Well thank you. And actually, I just read the above comment at the top and discovered I DID indeed post such a claim. Yeah, sorry, but I don't dig Twilight. An book that is based on the author's awkward sexual fantasy just isn't my cup of tea. Oh, and vampires don't sparkle. But to each their own. I still respect your opinion and thanks for watching. :)
It reminds me of a cassette set I had as a child of this story, almost too much that I'm a little suspicious... However, because I cannot recall the exact details of it. Well done.
I'm thinking I'm just going to start making you read things out loud for me and recording them. Because you know that effect that Morgan Freeman's voice has on people? You've got that. Only without the African-American, or elderliness.
This is me rambling, but I got halfway through returning to WoW and then realized that actually I like Jeremy Irons a lot more than I like Morgan Freeman. My point here is that I am starting to equate you with Jeremy Irons and let's face it, his voice just gives me chills. The good kind. Is this getting awkward for you yet? :-P
Pretty good. I'm working on getting 4 of my original short stories done into audio. I'll make sure to post the Dracula related one as a response. Btw, how are you going to do Lucy and Mania?
i Tried Reading This Book When I Was In The 4th grade, and i couldn't finish it, then again when i was older and almost finished it, But neither Time was it as interesting as it was this Time.
I watched three different movie adaptations of the book: Dracula (1931), Horror of Dracula (1958), and Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) (My favorite is of course the 1931 version. Rock on Bela Lugosi!) When I actually read the book, it was so . . . boring. However, I'm impressed by your narration of the book. You make sound more suspenseful and exciting when you read it. Well Done! 5/5
Why thank you, sir! The book can be a tad tedious as it is a series of journal entries. I tried to give some "life" to it (chuckle) and am happy that you thought I did. :) Thanks!
All the audio books i could find of this were in a robotic monotone american accent
, which clearly doesn't suit the story in the slightest, this is amazing, what a pity it's not the whole thing =(
