It sounds like you dont have a low pass filter on your subs... most amps have them built in look for lpf and make it so no words come out the subs only bass tones... also mess with the settings it sounds hella distorted but could just be camera recording... i think your main problem is the lpf setting...

It does'nt sound bad....I think you can make your shit slam alot harder though man. I would get a sealed box for thoughs subs, lay your backseat down so the bass gets inside the car, and tune the amp in! You can hear alot of distortion coming from the subs. Tune in the amp.

Wow your car rattles like crazy! And you need to turn your bass to the fartest negative and turn the woofers up all the way. It sounds distorted because you have bass coming out of you're door speakers. And the deck is alright but the subs are junk. And they are meant to be in a sealed box rather than a ported one. trust me it will sound 100 times better. Oh and whats up with the fosgate sticker? lol. Thats false advertisement for jackers!

i have 2 12 inch 1000 watt alpine subs, and they would kick arse over mtx's andydays, and ported subs dont sound as good i recon, man uve got a pakkie taxi, in other words a honda civic 99, some nissans are nick named pakkie taxis too, but more to the point u have loads of space in your boot so use it!

nice try. try harder! save some money and get a real system. just because those are 12" subs doesn't mean they will perform. the mtx road thunder have very low power handling and old technology. try visiting a car audio dealer that carries higher end audio. even one 8" sub from a company like jl audio would outperform those 2 12's.

highs are too high, bass is not there really, mtx is no good, i got 2 audiobahn 12's a montego box and a 160 watt sub off eBay for 300, after installation it came to 385 i already had a kenwood head unit, i would say next time.....dont rely on the guys at circuit city to tell you what is good, learn some stuff and then buy
