  • I remember the D-Gen, funny stuff!

  • @DarthPeppy Hehe, yeah... Just a little! ;-)

  • I completely missed out on all the D-gen fun. It sucks to have been born too late to enjoy what was obviously some great stuff. If only there were still Australian comedy shows like this! I can't stop laughing at the way they did the marionette walking style...! xD

  • Goes to show Aussies are Insane!!! :)

  • @davidsawyervlog ....Possibly "Team America".

  • Oppps, not 30 years ago, more like 20 to 25 years ago. Guess I'm show'n my age, lol.

  • Thanks for uploading this sketch - I remember it well and am so glad I could find it again. Original Aussie humour still cracks me up even after 30 years later, LOL.

  • No Probs! :):):)

  • As a massive fan of the original series.... this is absolutely fricking hilarious, and so, SO accurate XD

  • Yeah, I still got my Dinky TB2 in the top cupboard! :)

  • @wahaya2 I agree with your comments entirely and I had such a good laugh whilst watching this video. I truly admire the comedy that we once had on Australian TV.

  • problem is 2 many generation y doing comedy nowadays

australia a british conoly. not 4 over 110 years mate

  • Actually I think the custard was Your Standing In It. Well it is 25 years ago & my brain was fairly frazzled

  • Brings back memories, are any of their lumpy custard skits on u toob/

  • Don't think so :(

  • @DarthPeppy Ads for Chunky Custard! That was "Australia You're Standing In it".

  • 2:48 noobs: thunderbird 1 comes out of the pool not 2

  • @theemporour If you're going to harp on that, we may as well mention that Scott would have needed to assess the situation, and Gordon would likely be needed to shoot the missile.

  • Sigh.. back in the days when Australia understood that "comedy= funny"

    Not many do these days...

  • Exactly my thoughts :(

  • ¿hay mas partes de esta parodia o no? si hay más partes deberían subirlas

  • This is a great and hilarious video! hahaha I couldn't stop laughing anymore LOL

  • D-Gen were the best.. I remember when they did this skit.. Was easily in the 80's sometime.. Back when they did Australian Crawl.. Champaigne Comedy.

  • Only the accents stop this achieving 'champagne comedy' status

  • its crazy ridiculous how accurate their walking/movements/actions were to the real Thunderbirds!!! i guess that's a testiment to the quality of the comedians and their attention to detail :)

  • These guys were also into sci-fi, so that must have helped!

  • @fivecougarsoz "its crazy ridiculous how accurate their walking/movements/actions were to the real Thunderbirds!!!"

Not accurate at all really...if you watch the original Thunderbirds series, the marionettes didn't walk with their hands up like that. Rather, they tended to stand bolt upright when walking, with their arms down by their sides.

  • @fivecougarsoz You will find that Australian comedy is quite clever really

  • Does anyone know where to find this other parody, it's a redub where Scott is a drunk, they're pimping out grandma, and the Australians just want 'their fucking chicken wings'? it used to be on here somewhere...

  • Can't say I've heard of it :(

  • F-A-B!

  • "close the door son" - classic

  • That is actually true to the original show.

This is so hilarious. Thanks for posting this.
