I just made one today sadly I didn't space the tracks far enough apart so I ran out of hair and it was too big (my head it like a peanut) but for the most part it actually is easy.
Also, I do think the full wigs are protective styles b/c I was getting my wigs done professionally for about 8 months and I would wash and treat my own hair about every two weeks and it went from shoulder length to almost bra-strap length without me really noticing. That was the first time that ever happened, so just make sure you take care of your hair underneath and it will grow.
I made my own for the first time about 4 days ago using the dome cap and glue. It came out WAY too small. Then I used the method in this video with the net that has adjustable straps in the back and thread, and it came out great. @dirrtysouf from my research i realized tht it depends how much to the side u want it.. i seen ladies get away with something tht is just a little off to the side but if the part is very far form the middle u may want to open your wig on the side so the wig doesnt look crooked. i hope tht makes sense... oh btw if u leave out alot of hair u could do both parts ( side and middle)

Hello, did you cut the weft before you started? Just curious because i see you are doubling the tracks at the top and wanted to know if they were the original wefts or pre cut and doubled to go back to original size weft

Ok so I made a quick weave 3/4 wig with clips instead of sewing It down (the hair is cheap and this was a test..equal double pack, pigtail, 1b) and I love it..next will be a real 3/4 wig with my remy hair but thannxxx again!!!! :-)

so i tried making this wig before ur tutorial and i must say..it was a total failure. the cap wouldnt fit...however i followed ur every step..pausing in between. and i realised what i problem was....i started sewing right at the bottom of the cap..where the adjustment string was..big NO NO. i started above that point where u did..n it fits perfectly. also my enter part is really really tiny..n i just extend as needed.. I LOVE YOU TUBE...people like u save me money..AND MAKES ME LOOK LIKE A DOLL

so i tried making this wig before ur tutorial and i must say..it was a total failure. the cap wouldnt fit...however i followed ur every step..pausing in between. and i realised what i problem was....i started sewing right at the bottom of the cap..where the adjustment string was..big NO NO. i started above that point where u did..n it fits perfectly. also my enter part is really really tiny..n i just extend as needed.. I LOVE YOU TUBE...people like u save me money..AND MAKES ME LOOK LIKE A DOLL

Thank you so much for the tutorial... Your like a friend on my head because I know that if you lived in Brooklyn NY you could make one for me LOL...quick question last night I started mine with milky way hair. I wanted to use 3 packs 14,12 10 inch but I am not even finished with the 14 inch and it's taking up alot of space on the cap, and it's looking to thin.. Should I have doubled the weft? Can all 3 pcks fit on this? I want to get the layered look without using scissors.
