So? Pavel Datyuk didn't have his first 50 point season until he was 25 when he got 51 points his 2nd year in the NHL. This is Grabovski's first full season in the NHL and he got 48 points, and I am sure he will do even better next season. Anything can happen in the NHL. Grabovski is a great skater.
He's a good skater true but pavel Datsyuk was a one in a million and he was on a team full of smart vets and the redwings do a hell of a job with prospects. Also it was harder for datsyuk to put up the points with a team with that much depth. So its not really a fair comparison. Also datsyuk is less one dimentional. the one thing they have in common is they were late picks (grabovski 150th, Datsyuk 171)
TJ Oshie is exciting as hell to watch. He'll be an all-star in 4-5 years.
Bobby Ryan, is just dominant. The fact Anaheim didn't rush him only made him even more lethal. I don't watch the ducks too much, and the games I have watched, specifically the games against the sharks, he's been dominant, and a real game changer.
I was fortunate enough to watch TJ Oshie here for 3 years at the amazing Ralph Englestad Arena playing for the N Dakota Fighting Sioux. Here's a guy with so much talent but what makes him ultimately special is he plays like a mucker. Never seen anyone work harder. Three great players right now int he NHL from N Dakota Fighting Sioux--Parise, Toews, and Oshie. And Stafford and Zejac ain't half bad either.
It's hard to say...Bobby Ryan has looked very impressive this season. Grabovski is doing well too. The only player on playing in the NHL in this vid is Tedenby, and he will be amazing as well. Oshie bring a lot more physicality than the other players though. Hes a great player.
No doubt! A guy with serious kick-ass talent and yet one who maybe works harder than anyone around. What a platter combo! I was very fortunate to be able to see him many games in 2006 thru 2008 playing for the UND Fighting Sioux in the amazing Ralph Englestad Arena.
