Yep. They can do it. Look at it go. A bird-dinosaur. Wow. It's good to see they're still running documentaries on what are well-documented frauds. Go pokemon!
Hi from Animal Makers! Why reinvent the wheel? We've got most of this stuff in stock. The control arms these guys are using are rudimentary compared to what we use in film work. Perhaps someday, NOVA will allow professional puppeteers to work on their shows! Check out the Animal Makers youtube site to see how it's really done!
I just watched the full documentary on PBS. Amazing video. While I do prefer 3d models to puppets, I thought the method explained inside of the video was well done. Brilliant job showing the strong criticism, testing, modeling that goes on in science. The scientific method is truly beautiful and humble process. Great job guys.
Cool stuff

@Athlete117
Frauds? Exactly what frauds besides Archaeoraptor, which wasn't meant to be published at all, are you referring to?

Can you post this segment from the show?
I don't care how they made it, I just want to see the freaky dino-chicken animation segment again.

Go to the pbs website. They have full length features you can watch there. I really don't know why they don't put them on here.

Oh, come on, the animation is horrible, use computer animation. But its contents are fascinating.

Watched it tonight. Microraptor is a fascinating creature. Too bad we didn't get to see the Sprawler in the wind tunnel.

I dont't know. It seems the spawlers are the flat earth society of the debate.
