I don't know if you have done this b4 but im like new to your channel im watchin the older vids first...but just a suggestion since you seem to know a lot of about the game and the mechanics ...why dont you like take other people videos and comment on them saying how they should improve or like how they would of done this better...mind you im not saying you should tell them how to play but just guide them
I'm tired of people bitching and crying about "newb tubes". Do you bitch one someone gets the drop on you with a shotgun? Or a predator? Or a C4 plant? Its a weapon, just like everything else in the game. Don't bitch and moan when I put a 40 mm grenade in your chest from 3 feet away OR half way across the map.
Do you ever run with a silencer? Its amazing how well you can get right in with a group of enemies and none of them realize where you are killing them from. I feel naked without it.
i got a headset its ps3 official yeah i know you xbox lovers will say ps3 sucks it has nothing good but idc well back to the headset i can talk but cant hear the steps only hear other players talking any advice?
I'm not sure, but I think you need a headphone connected to the TV, so you can basically hear everything you'd normally hear on the TV's audio output. The 'PS3-headset' is just a chat one I think, that's the case with the X360 at least.
And no I'm not gonna bash PS3 in any way, both PS3 and X360 are decent devices and both have their pro's and cons. Up to the user to determine whichever suits them best.
I like your videos, they aren't "look at how awesome I am", although you are quite good. Commentary is very interesting as well, it's nice hearing someone who can formulate a sentence :)
This, exactly. It's cool watching videos of someone using tactics and actually trying to win the game through them rather than just building killstreaks, getting great scores but losing. Winning is where it's at.
i know that people frown upon the "noob tube" and you made a good point about how you can only get this many kills, but i would like to see you try out the class of any assault rifle with the tube and claymores with the perks of one man army to refill your tubes and claymores and ammo, and danger close to help out your tubes claymores, and whatever you want in the third slot, and play a " nomadic camper" style like i do and see what you come up with, my gamer tag is WesternWEST

I noticed the same thing and you can actually see the shadow of the C4 thrown just before he entered the predator screen. But guess who killed him - the noobtuber with danger close :)
The Tube is really annoying, but I fully agree with what you said about it. People who use it really aren't that great, but what they are good at doing is ending kill streaks, and that what sucks about them.
I sometimes use the tube to help me get the last 2 kills of a streak or something.
You can see when someone is capturing a base since the symbol for it is pulsing. For instance at 02.20 you say you hear a guy, but you can actually know also by looking at the sign that says "Defense A". It is pulsating.
I heard a young youtube commentator call it a bookstore. If you see a video store with a back room lit by a red light don't expect to see any titles from Oprah's reading list in there. :-)
you have great perspective and these vids are helpful.....most players learn not by watching great stick control players but by learning tactics and location, thats where you are most helpful.
Your commentary is probably the most helpful and useful commentary on youtube. Others are funny,or godly at the game but your's is just plain helpful. Thanks for the gameplay.

the only thing is that the one man army perk = unlimmited noobtubes... my friend has gotten a ton of nukes with claymores and camping with noobtubes lol.
the guy you heard near a was in the street to your left, he showed as a red dot on the radar(check it out, its right before you start looking at a to find him)
Great video Woody. Danger Close noobtubes tend to be very frustrating to be killed by. Great commentary again as usual. I wanted to know if you have complaints about people joining your game in progress. I know some people do, and I don't really want to bug you when you are playing if it does.

nice video woody. those noob tube guys are so annoying. i always kill them, pick their gun up and start spamming it back at them. anyways, i think headsets are like a 4th perk. i run ninja pro now almost always so that i can hear everyone's footsteps. i got a pair of Triton 720's, and i can easily hear people 50 feet away if everything is quiet. especially on like Highrise where the indoor portions of the map have wood floors.
It's refreshing to see someone play for the win first rather than their k/d.
I have a similar style in that i like to jump on flags, i've have a ton of games where i go negative in k/d but still finish top of the lobby leaderboard because of the flags i cap.
i have the astro headset and i was wondering if you have a hard time hearing foot steps without ninja pro? i have ninja pro on all my classes accept my sniper or do you think i should use other perks like steady aim or commando leme know, thanks!!

I have an Astro A40. As far as I know, you can only buy them directly from their web site. You'll have to google it since you can't put links in youtube comments.

U didnt kill yourself with the predator... a guy killed u with a C4, btw headsets work really well on Free-For-All so if u have a headset try out free for all and u will see its a real advantage
I have a problem with the noob tube partly because i think most of if not all gun attachments should have a counter. The perfect example being the heartbeat sensor which is countered by the Ninja. The noob tube counter I'm assuming is meant to be the blast shield the problem is some allot of noob tubers now have the danger close which makes the blast shield useless.

Another good vid and commentary Woody.. The route I personally like off of A spawn is to shoot up the right side and the duck in towards B where that courtyard is and hold off as many guys as I can that are rushing B from C. 5*!!

One other thing about your commentary. It really is all dependant upon the map to guide which playstyle you should use. I'm like you woody, unexceptional at this game, but I do post good scores occasionally. On Karachi I noticed that when you spawn at A people tend to guard the A flag for a short time until moving to camp at B. This map more than most tends to have a LOT of spawn swapping. To prevent this I bust out my cold blooded class and camp A from that balcony right above it.
Rifle grenades are all basically about luck. I was using the complainer's favorite noob tube class (tar-21, one man army, danger close, steady aim), which really eliminates that need to scavenge for more ammo. Anyways, I got a spawn quad on terminal with this setup and as a result the entire rest of the game went swimmingly because I basically lorded my air support over the opposing team the rest of the game, so it's all luck basically.
headsets really shine in Free For All and S and D. General rule or thumb: the fewer the players in the match the easier it is to triangulate your opponents position. However, the quieter the game type usually means more people will run ninja pro in their set up as well. cosmic dualism.
@woodysGamertag I actually play CoD4 without sound. Yes I play games like SnD without sound. My audio input on my T.V are no good, and I have no good stereo system for my PC to play on my monitor. I've been playing CoD4 for 6 months like that, I've been able to maintain a K/D of 1.26 (and rising). My worse games are -5-10.
Wonder how much my skills will improve with a turtle beach when I get it =D
yeah the headset took me a while to get used to, like you said. i got mine maybe a week ago and its a big improvement but its not automatic radar. best to combine it with radar, visuals, and teammate deaths and kills
Good tips I'm just getting in to domination and they help a lot. The noob tube with danger close pro and one man army pro is ridiculous. Almost instant refills. That, plus the added benefit of more powerful killstreaks is slightly crazy. On headsets, I just play with my Bose headphones plugged in to the headphone jack on my tv and it works well, but like you said, most of the time it's hard to hear much, but in free for all they definitely help.
I don't play domination but your videos make me want to try it out. I die alot in objective games though, so I play a couple at a time and go back to TDM. I guess practice makes perfect though.
I pretty much only use noob tubes when I'm working on challenges. I don't like them cause if I don't kill the person in one launch, I get killed cause it takes so long to reload. I use the Turtle Beach X4's which I'm happy with. I can hear my teammates getting knifed so it lets me know to be cautious and turn around. I can hear footsteps and occasionally a person with Ninja Pro walking through grass or falling off a rock. I hate not having Ninja Pro on myself though. I feel so loud! lol
it would be awesome if you could do some demolition gamplay
it's the game mode i play the most
when you play it constantly, you start to see patterns done by both teams as far as routes they take and what bombs they hit first
it's a really strategic struggle back and forth to defend and plant the bomb and one of the few game modes where i feel that air support really benefits your teams chances of winning rather than boosting your k/d
i agree about the headset, when i first got mine i just expected to like hear everything perfectly and it isnt like that exactly, and when they have 2 points and you are "spawn trapped" I try and build up a killstreak like a chopper gunner so i can get them out of our spawn
I went 72-10 on this map today, got three AC-130s and the sad thing was that its wasn't a bunch on christmas noobs, lesson to be learned here UMP kicks ass
yeah noob tubes are fun but there not as practical as using bullets. They are not as cheap as they are portrayed in my opinion the noob tuber usualy has the jump on me enough that bullets would have killed me just as fast. Also many people running them think that they need to over use them and its a mistake that gets them killed alot more then running with just bullets because of rushers getting to close for the grenade to actually go off or lack of precision aiming etc

the tube is quite useful on domination since you can take out hidden flag capturers quickly, but its stupid to use it as a primary in any game.

To be honest, I'm not really into the camos. A lot of subscribers have pointed that out but I don't really pay attention.
To me, the desert seems like a compromise camo that ok on any map, so I just set it to every gun and forget about it.

headsets really shine in Free For All and S and D. General rule or thumb: the fewer the players in the match the easier it is to triangulate your opponents position. However, the quieter the game type usually means more people will run ninja pro in their set up as well. cosmic dualism.

@woodysGamertag I actually play CoD4 without sound. Yes I play games like SnD without sound. My audio input on my T.V are no good, and I have no good stereo system for my PC to play on my monitor. I've been playing CoD4 for 6 months like that, I've been able to maintain a K/D of 1.26 (and rising). My worse games are -5-10.
Wonder how much my skills will improve with a turtle beach when I get it =D

yeah the headset took me a while to get used to, like you said. i got mine maybe a week ago and its a big improvement but its not automatic radar. best to combine it with radar, visuals, and teammate deaths and kills

Good tips I'm just getting in to domination and they help a lot. The noob tube with danger close pro and one man army pro is ridiculous. Almost instant refills. That, plus the added benefit of more powerful killstreaks is slightly crazy. On headsets, I just play with my Bose headphones plugged in to the headphone jack on my tv and it works well, but like you said, most of the time it's hard to hear much, but in free for all they definitely help.

I don't play domination but your videos make me want to try it out. I die alot in objective games though, so I play a couple at a time and go back to TDM. I guess practice makes perfect though.

I pretty much only use noob tubes when I'm working on challenges. I don't like them cause if I don't kill the person in one launch, I get killed cause it takes so long to reload. I use the Turtle Beach X4's which I'm happy with. I can hear my teammates getting knifed so it lets me know to be cautious and turn around. I can hear footsteps and occasionally a person with Ninja Pro walking through grass or falling off a rock. I hate not having Ninja Pro on myself though. I feel so loud! lol

in CoD4 I played SnD from 5th prestige all the way to 10th prestige lvl 50ish.. It was nice because I always had a good team, all friends.
Playing SnD without friends, even if your whole team is in gamechat isn't so fun in MW2.. so TDM & big team objective games are nice.

it's the game mode i play the most
when you play it constantly, you start to see patterns done by both teams as far as routes they take and what bombs they hit first
it's a really strategic struggle back and forth to defend and plant the bomb and one of the few game modes where i feel that air support really benefits your teams chances of winning rather than boosting your k/d

Yes, it is a good way to dominate a game if you use one man army and claymore yourself into a building, you are almost impossible to get you out of.

i agree about the headset, when i first got mine i just expected to like hear everything perfectly and it isnt like that exactly, and when they have 2 points and you are "spawn trapped" I try and build up a killstreak like a chopper gunner so i can get them out of our spawn

yeah noob tubes are fun but there not as practical as using bullets. They are not as cheap as they are portrayed in my opinion the noob tuber usualy has the jump on me enough that bullets would have killed me just as fast. Also many people running them think that they need to over use them and its a mistake that gets them killed alot more then running with just bullets because of rushers getting to close for the grenade to actually go off or lack of precision aiming etc
