  • Re: The closing of Tempelhof Airport. Some residents nearby wanted to closing because of the noise, since it is located in the middle of residential area. It was, however, a perfectly viable regional airport for smaller aircraft (if you take the larger jets out of the equation). This situation was then used, politically, to push for the closure, for one reason, and one reason alone: it is valuable real estate within the city + big developers poured millions into the campaign for closure.

  • I got that album. i hung out with vinnie paz in ATL. that song is definately the dopest one on that album.

  • 50 million people die every year through starvation and easily curable disease, not because there is not enough food, but because of a dysfunctional economic system called capitalism.

unlike famines under stalin, mao which were engineered for political purpose, capitalist famines are systemic in nature.

add to that everybody who dies prematurely from capitalist work conditions, contaminated food, water, air, pharama, lack of healthcare etc., and the death toll of capitalism is in the BILLIONS.

  • I'm reading the comments and see 7 hours 1 hour 17 minutes 19 minutes 2 hours 4 hours 4 hours 7 hours 7 hours 4 minutes wtf youtube!??? ohh and btw, communism = capitalism, these are two different forms of monopolism, one private one "public"

Glenn Beck is a fucking douchebag! On June 12th I switched from "Analog" to "Dialogue". There is a reason the shit is called "programming".

Anarchists chicks are teh hawt, and they have more guts than the lame motherfuckers sitting on their asses believing somehow that voting will make all of the difference. Tsk! Tsk!

  • Pittsburgh g2o Sept. 24 to 25 get ready prepared

  • George W. Bush, and the medieval likes of him, have left Americans in a state too closely resembling our collective worst nightmare in history. Is there any doubt that if George Bush & Richard Cheney do not get tried in a court of law--or at the least become subjects of an investigation--we will doom our children to the fate of theocracy started by the coward-hippies of the 60's and the likes of the Bush Family Dynasty, among other medieval consortiums of misogynists, such as the C Street Gang.

  • At 2:16 where it's heard, "Oye, Steve, tu tienes que los bendejos ya paso."

= "Hey, Steve, you have that the motherfuckers passed already."

NOT a thing about April Fools.

  • At the end (GOD) Cosmic justice will apply,

its always been this way, evil men are blind

  • we cannot wait for galactic righteousness or divine justice. or sight for the men that are evil. these same recommendations have been pacifying the enslaved for milennia. these are lullabies that belong to another age, another place.

meekness, patience and faith are not to be virtues anymore. they are the ugliest vices that crawl and infest human minds. anyone caught extolling these maggots as morals is a traitor to the present and a hinderence to the future.

    we need vengence. now.

  • Dope!!!

  • I will be pissed if those communists fuck me over and force me to join their little adventure. Wasn't 500,000,000 people dying enough to prove that socialist policies are LUNACY!?!?!

  • Nobody gonna fuck you, you big number lover!

Moon can cause insanity, mental problems, and idiotic comments.

  • where the fuck did you get that number from? out of your ass?

500,000,000 is half a billion idiot.

there is no proof that even the murderous soviet empire- which was state capitalist- killed that many.

socialism and more to the point, communism has never been produced by the USSR.

  • "where the fuck did you get that number from? out of your ass?

500,000,000 is half a billion idiot." USSR + China + North Korea + Cold War Proxy Wars = 500 million in war casualties, disease, and famine. You can look it up, I am not exaggerating those numbers.

  • to chris3443,

Nah. The black book of Communism (which most Capitalists cite as accurate) worked out the deaths of Communism as totalling app.100 million, but that includes everything, even the natural famine in China which killed 30 million under Mao.

Most of the 'Cold War' deaths are attributable to America trying to crush, democracy, independence & socialism.

3.5 million deaths in Vietnam, the US is to blame. the 1 million deaths in Cambodia & Laos due to U.S. bombing, US is to blame, etc.

  • ...also don't forget that Capitalism, Imperialism & rightism has led to the deaths of 100s of millions more than Communism.

eg Capitalist Britain killed 17 million in India, Capitalist Europeans killed 18 million in the Atlantic Slave trade, Imperialist/Expansionist Europeans killed 5-20 million throughout the invasion of the Americas, Belgium killed 8 million in the Congo, WWI killed 15 million, Hitler's imperialism killed 55 million, the U.S. & Britain have killed 10-20 million since WWII.

  • capitalistholocaust, I think these imperialist atrocities you are citing are more attributable to statism than capitalism or the free market. If you are interested in a good read, check our freekeene 000 dot 000 com, on which there is a link to "free book". If you check it out, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts via PM. This comment board is a pain to discuss things through.

  • Oh, forgot to mention the book is available in audio form for free, that's the way I listened to it anyways.

  • The exact same thing could be said of Communism & atrocities attributable to Communism, since it was the heavily centralized State that allowed dictators such as Stalin & Mao to commit such massive atrocities & not the principle of voluntaristic communal living & collective ownership.

Pure Anarcho-Communism is no more inherently likely to cause deaths due to coercion than pure anarcho-Capitalism is.

You can't have it both ways.

  • communism is not the enemy of millions- but of the few. the minority in power is the enemy. not the majority out of power.

capitalism has been around for 400-500 years max and entire continents were cleared of people for those in power: that's numbers.

the capitalist system is just as responsible for the death of millions.

  • It seems what we have here is a case of total misunderstaning. I've got a simple question to determine whether a system proposed by someone works for me, regardless if its called communist, capitalist, or whatever. The question is- what do you do with people who don't want in? Do you leave them be, and live your own life? Or do you FORCE them to comply to your scheme, for the greater good of course?

  • Answer to that question really tells me everything I need to know. If you leave people to do otheir own thing, than it means that your proposed system is in essence voluntary and free market, and it doesn't matter if you use money yourself or not. Even if you live in hard- core communes, if you let people DECIDE for their own if they want to submit to your rules or not, and don't force anyone, then what we have is a free market, and your way of doing things will sink or swim based on its merit.

  • If, on the other hand, your utopia depends on everyone the world over complying to your rules eventually, and there is no middle ground, then you are one of the same murderous sons of bitches we fight right now. You see, people we are against have all one thing in common. And its NOT "capitalism" (I suggest you check out the definitions of the words you use). Its the use of political VIOLENCE to achieve goals. Its putting a gun to the heads of an unarmed populace, forcing compliance.

  • wah fucking wah.

  • Sorry, is that an answer?

  • Yes, a 'free market' isn't necessarily inherently Capitalist & due to the inherently inefficient nature of Capitalism, many will voluntarily choose to organize into collectives & co-ops once the protection of the Capitalist state is gone & they recognize Socialism's role in it's apparent success.

Anarcho-Syndicalism, for example, would allow for free market conditions AND the people would own the means of production, not the state & not a few elites.

  • In a truly voluntary society, some will choose organized labor & some will choose Capitalist Business, but eventually it will become clear that the structure of organized voluntaristic labour is very democratic, whereas capitalist businesses are not.

Businesses are tyrannic & hierarchical in structure & the ability of the worker to choose which tyrant he works for doesn't change this or the fact.

  • Well, it seems that although we might not agree in the particulars, we do agree in fundamentals, that is, that the cause of problems today is violence, not "free market". A free market CANNOT exist along with coercion. Without coercion, you automatically have a free market, becouse when you cannot FORCE people to do what you want them to (like gov. of today do), you either CONVINCE them, or leave them the fuck alone. And that, I believe, is what we all truly want.

  • No I think freedom in the market creates it's own set of problems, that can be just as devastating as the effects of coercion.

Despite the fact most of the free market experiments have been carried out within the context of coercive State systems, it's still evident that the freer the market, the greater the crises that arise. For example, only countries, mostly in East-Asia, that ignored the neo-liberalist policy advice from the IMF seem to have avoided economic devastation.

  • Once people see the catastrophe's & crises that are inherent within a totally free system, with no regulation on Capital flight & such, they will voluntarily opt for systems with a more regulatory apparatus. That doesn't mean there has to be coercion involved though.

  • Man, you are simply wrong about this. Understand, you EITHER have coercion, OR you have a free society. A free market means people get to CHOOSE without COERCION what they produce, consume and do. Its as simple as that! What we have now, and only ever had, on the other hand, is the farthest thing POSSIBLE from a free market It starts with a monopoly on creation and distribution of money, and an artificially inflated stock market. ALL problems you talk about are a result of one thing. State power

  • As to China- they simply are on the other side of the pendulum right now, AND hold the entire debt of the western world. Give it time.

  • It isn't as simple as you suggest.

There will always be coercion, whether you have a 'free' society or not. You can get rid of the monopoly of coercion by the State, but you can't get rid of coercion.

Plus, without coercion, there will still be problems due to rouge individualism, for example when one person decides he is going to pollute a river or release Sarin into the air, it doesn't just affect him. This is where people may justify coercion in some form of limited democracy.

  • In such situations, survival becomes more important than freedom & coercion takes place of free market fundamentalism.

Plus, my original point still stands. The abolition of the State can't remove the problems inherent in free trade that aren't a result of coercion. As experiments have shown.

  • "The abolition of the State can't remove the problems inherent in free trade that aren't a result of coercion. As experiments have shown. " Like I said, check out that book's points and if you're interested I'll be happy to discuss the points you make about a free society! =)

  • A huge problem with free markets is that companies only take into account risks & costs to themselves & not systemic risks or costs to others so therefore risk is underpriced, which leads to systemic failure.

The other problem is that they inevitably lead to exploitation, because those who are born without Capital will not receive the education of those who are born into vast concentrations of Capital leaving them at a disadvantage & will not be truly entering a fair contract with any employer.

  • Don't assume that I'm on the same side as PeterTheEvilBastard, but I think in that case the coercive action is the course taken by the polluters, and any action taken against him could be considered defensive, and not coercive per se, or at least no more so than anyone resisting the imposition of authority.

  • I'd agree with you, but many of the anarcho-capitalists I've spoken too do not believe in the use of collective force in any manner whatsoever, lest you 'become the state'.

Many don't believe that force is justified as self-defense until the point of being attacked is reached. So they wouldn't even consider the Jews being justified in collective self-defense against the Nazis, up until the point that they are being marched to the gas chamber, at which point of course, it would be too late.

  • well jesus fucking christ, yes. marx summarized it best i think: communism is nothing short of the free association of labor.

if the core criticism of capitalism is that it coerces workers into exploitative relationships, than the coercion on workers will have to cease, no?

  • " what do you do with people who don't want in? " That is a question I can respect :) Only a voluntary society is a just society. I wonder if you have already run into and/or support FreeTalkLive or Stefan Molyneux?

  • Communism is the enemy of anyone who refuses to submit to communism, or stands in its way. The same thing with modern state capitalism. The common ground is political power. If you have political power, you end up with genocide sooner or later. That was the pitfall of comunism- granting unlimited power to a small group of "representatives", in the aim of facilitating transformation to a communist society. In the end, those representatives became the ruling class, much the same as we have today.

  • I saw a few months ago in national geographic

all the northern countries are mapping out what parts of the north pole area belongs to them so they can own the potential oil

instead of learning from its loss countries are trying to capitalize on it in the same way they caused it

they've even sent out ships that break huge paths through the ice which makes it melt faster

maybe you can check into it for us

I have not seen anything about it besides that
