  • I made this today and I must day it was DELICIOUS! I didn't have korean mustard paste or a asian pear/apple, so i replaced it with a little bit of rice. But it was still amazing! I could make this everyday and never get tired of it! Next time I will try and look for the pear and mustard paste and see how it tastes then!

Question: Is a Korean mustard very spicy? Can I substitute it with an American mustard (even when it says spicy, it's not spicy at all) or would it taste different?

  • @kaerunohime

Yes.. I think that Korean mustard is spicier than American one...but I think you can use American mustard also. it will taste a little different but it will be still good.. and if you have a chance to get the Korean mustard, please try that someday too.. thanks

  • @aeriskitchen

Thank you so much for answering my question. I will try this dish with American one tomorrow, I'm sure I'd love it! Then next time, when I go to a Korean market, I'll get a Korean one:)
