  • Thanks

  • Does anyone notice, like the cereals in the quick breakfast aisles, all the crappy hair products are eye-level and the better product between the 3-5 levels?

  • I'VE BEEN WATCHING HOURS UPON HOURS OF YOUR VIDEOS.. BUT I CAN'T FIND WHAT YOU USE ON YOUR HAIR TO MAKE YOUR TWISTS SOOOO DEFINED?!?!!? PLEASE HELP!!!

  • Hey girl i love all your vids keep them coming. Also i jus want to say it is so ridiculous that so many ppl came on this vid and started asking questions that you answered on this vid!! lol i guess some people are even too lazy to listen. Thanx again for the vids!!!!

  • just a random question, what country/countries west africa are you parents from?

  • what part of west africa?? am also from west africa.. Ghana and i just started going natural april 24.. and i did the big chop myself too

  • Happy Natural Hair anniversary!! May 31rst!

  • wut kinda twists are those? da onez dat u hav in da video?

  • @gmcmim no, it just does not look 4c to me, I have 4c hair. Her hair looks more like a 4a or even b like my son's hair. But it's not a big deal, no matter the type her hair gorgeous

  • That's because her hair in the video is a result of a twist out this is not how her hair looks naturally when it's wet.

  • I'm sorry, maybe u didn't realize gmcmim already said that, n u missed when I said I know that but it still does not look 4c to me it looks maybe more of a 4b n also it is really not a big deal there's only minor differences

  • @gmcmim

its not only about how soft it is, it just does not look 4c 2 me. I have 4c hair, she looks like she maybe has 4a like my son's. Ah well it isn't a big deal.

  • so is the shea butter basically.......your moisturizer and sealant?

  • I know her hair grows into a fro but the texture does not look like a 4c...

  • hey RusticBeauty, in some of your videos you put in a note saying you no longer use ORGANIX products anymore, which products (shampoo + conditioner) are you now using? Thnkx for your help - really appreciate your videos! :-)

  • HEy The hair on the back of my scalp is a lot drier than the rest of my hair. Can i improve its condition at all? =D

  • I love ur hair, its cute, n ur eyes r gorgeous! Anyway i love ur videos...ur hair looks more like a 3c/4a, it doesnt look very course...i cld b wrong though:P

  • ur so nice and down to earth not like some of the other ppl with vidoes keep up the good work chic ur vids are the best.just beautiful!!

  • yeah! some of these girls like mrsheathernicole and kiannaluv21 seem kinda...stuck up, or somthing. I mean, their hair is cute but they just give off a vibe I don't like

    *shrugs shoulders*

  • Hi, I love all your videos! I am curious are your parents Nigerians?

  • i'm glad I stumbled into your vids..I did the big chop myself about four years ago, been keeping it in braids, and I was thinking of a new look and you really gave me a new perspective..thanks soo much plus in one of your comments in one of ur other vids u say your hair growth is slow,..i can relate i'm starting to think that my hair type is more like yours

  • in this video you remind of a beautiful lioness from "The Lion King"!

  • I am really thinking about doing the big chop and going all natural. I haven't had a perm since dec. but I have recently colored my hair a brownish red about two weeks ago and I am already seeing my black new growth coming in. I usually flat iron my hair but since I haven't had a relaxer in about two months my hair is taking on a new transformation but the ends is still straight that's why I am thinking about doing the BIG CHOP. I have watched other videos and want your assistance.

    God bless

  • (godsjournalist) Well I have a new video about questions to ask yourself while transtioning and BCing...I hope it helps you.

  • how do you tell what type of hair you have, and also what kind of hairstyle do you usually wear? thank u

  • (kirachan13) Google 'andre walker hair types' and I wear a two strand twist outs...

  • where can i buy shea butter and how out can u put this on your head?

  • (supergirl123love) Many places sell them...I would google "unrefined shea butter fair trade" I purchase mine from butters-n-bars dotcom. In my hair regimen video (2/5) I show how I use shea butter....how often you apply it to your hair depends on how dry your hair is...

  • Your. Hair. Is. So. BEAUTIFUL!!!!

  • do you take any vitamins?

  • (CoutureChiic) I take multivitamins off and on-basically when I remember (New chapter organics one womans daily, or one a day--and flaxseed oil capsules)

  • I love Nasabb's shea butter- $8/lbs. Goregeous, wonderful-smelling stuff!

  • your hair is the hotness. Your are an inspiration in the whole natural hair thing. keep on with passing on the knowledge. what part of west africa are your people from?

  • (marolipo)Thank you! My parents are both from Nigeria.

  • thx soooo much. I watch all your videos. I two girls with diffrent textured hair & i pd $30 4-my little one(5) & $45 4-my oldest(8). I commited dis year to try to do their hair. so last night i started w/ the oldest. it took me 4hrs but i did it. I follow your inst. even cliped her ends & her twist look greeat. I'll let her wear it 4-2wk then twist out 4-other wk. I'll let u know how i goes. thx thx

  • It's me again. I just loosed the girls hair & it still looks great. thx again

  • ORGANIX works great on African American hair. I have the Vanilla silk shampoo and conditioner.

  • QUESTION - (lol) I have not found an answer for this yet. But, why is it that as children, using grease and hot water (or whatever) was fine to use but as adults going BACK natural, products with mineral oil or pet.jelly is discouraged? Hmm! (lol) Love to know your thoughts on this!

  • (yuarecrazy) I haven't, have you?

  • (Yuarecrazy) I haven't, have you?

  • (abimbolagirl)eat healthy,trim, and moisturize A LOT

  • okay i have another question...when u were transitioning and when u started to see some new growth....was the new growth wavy or did urs come out coiled because i looked at ur bring out your curl video and it looked like your roots were wavy and as u go down it starts to get coiled(like little spiral curls) or is it just me...lol

  • yay! i'm nigerian too :-) :-):-)

love your video's and your hair too

  • U r very pretty and beautiful white teeth:)

  • I don't understand the 4B catagory. Could you please explain? TY love your hair. I've been natural for about 2 1/2 years. loving it! I'll never perm again.

  • (sideyo) Hey I would google 'andre walker hair type' and you will get a lot of sites that come up....4b hair is suppose to be tightly coily, prone to dryness, a lot of shrinkage etc...

  • thanks! looking it up now.:)

  • West africa woot woot... Thank you so much for sharing your experience and your tips. Thank you thanks thanks :)

  • your a cutie

  • Thanks for the information.

  • wow..your skin is glowing!! i know this is about hair, but what skin products do you use?

  • (prettylady818) Thanks so much, I have 2 skin care regimen videos of all the products I use and some of the things I eat.

  • This video was so awesome...you did a great job of covering the questions that I would typically ask. Your hair is beautiful! Thanks for the vid...

  • You're Beautiful & Your hair is the Bomb!

  • I have to agree with doms11; I've been natural since 2002, but I've learned a lot from your videos, esp. about trimming. I have the same experience with hair curling into tiny knots now that it's longer. You do a great job explaining and demonstrating your techniques, and you clearly take such good care of your God-given prettiness, your beautiful hair, eyes, skin and smile. Your accent reminds me of some friends I haven't seen in a while, so that's fun, too. Thank you for doing these vids.

  • i glad i found your videos and i will keep it natural no heat or weaves thank you sister peace p.s make some hair style videos please

  • Cool, both of my parents are from nigeria too! i've been natural for about three years now and my hair is almost bsl (bra strap length), yay. prior to my being natural, the longest my hair would grow would be around shoulder length, if that.

  • I discovered your videos about a month ago and I love them! What I particularly love is the way you use uncomplicated language to present your information. I've implimented some of your suggestions and after having natural hair for almost 20 YEARS!! you've definately helped the process of caring for my natural hair a great deal easier and I sincerely thank you for that. Now, I know it has been said already, but I also have to say you are beautiful with a fantastic head of natural hair. Thanks X
