It is the way the hosts react that make me think they were acting...is this for a trailer? Why i think it's acting? It's especially because the host (male) never would have reacted like that to "if that is in her pocket" because if it were real he would have no friggin idea. Also, his overreaction to the opening of the page was too instant it had to be staged- this is because he did not even look to see it was page 185

ok guys this is not rehearsed.....it is just very clever editing.....hes showing them a trick but its edited so it looks 10 times more impressive to us.....Barry cant hypnotise people.....hes just using pseudo hypnosis which basically means fake hypnosis.....eg if you went to your friend while he was asleep and super glued his hand to a table...then woke him up and said "hey im gonna hypnotise you so you cannot move ur hand"....so its not rehearsed

okay, you obviously weren't paying attention. he does mention it being there AFTER he 're-induces' them. what you obviously didn't catch was that he mentions hypnotizing them earlier. he induced them earlier and set a trigger of flipping through the book to re-induce.

Now that I'm studying a certification course in hypnosis from a reputable master from New Zealand, I am learning what the talented Mr. Barry did in terms of rapport, presence, confidence, induction, and even showmanship. There's a great deal more to this art than just its name.

He says 'If' its in her pocket. Its a safe assumption that she would have it in her pocket. Saying 'if its in her pocket i will freak out' is a normal thing to say in that situation
The host (guy in white shirt) messed up. Listen closely to the video again. The guy in the white shirt mentions that the paper is in her pocket but the hypnotist only says that it was folded and put in an envelope. If the guy in the white shirt had truly forgotten the situation, then he would not have remembered it being in her pocket. Watch the hypnotist's reaction when the host mentions the pocket. It's fake--acted.

The envelope could have been placed anywhere--given to a stage hand, held by the hypnotist, etcetera. It is neither natural nor logical for the male host to have concluded that the paper was in the woman's pocket. So the host blew it when he mentions the pocket with such animation, given that he was supposed to have fogotten everything that had just occured with the page.

actually, he uses some basic NLP in this to establish a repoire with the guy, when the guy says "there's nothing up there" Keith Barry says "this is going to feel like mind reading, but its not" - affirming that they have something in common, and the guy breaks down his defences
