I can't say I have a 'favourite' Romanov,but this is a fine montage & tribute to Grand Duchess Maria.The tragic ending to the Family was truly catastrophic,especially as the British Royal Family could,indeed WANTED to offer their Rusian cousins sanctuary.But sadly George gave in to his government who decided it would be 'unacceptable' for the Royal Family to be seen to be getting involved in matters of State & the 'affairs' of a foreign 'problem'! R.I.P the Romanovs.

@gotch09 , Grand Duchess and Princess is the same words that means daughter of a King or Emperor or Tsar, but in Russian history never had named Tsar's daughter princess, only Grand Duchess(Великая княжна) or Tsarevna(Царевна)

@TheLoveBabyDoll I think I read recently that "Grand Princess" would be a better translation of the title for a Tsar's daughter--a step above the title of "Princess" used elsewhere for a king's daughter or in Russia for the granddaughter of a Tsar.

The girl who played maria in Nicolal and Alexandra don´t look like maria..is more to anastacia..and the girl who played anastacia is more like maria..to me

@cahlindinhaloira As good as Nicolas and Alexandra was in a good many respects, I never thought that any of the girls who played the grand duchesses looked particularly like them. The Lost Prince seemed to do better in that regard.
