probably because they are two different companies and getting the rights to characters can be hard to obtain depending on agreement and how much they are willing to pay the other company. Just answering people's question on why they haven't made such a movie
SNES version was actually superior to the GENISIS version, I had both, the GENISIS version had blood... big freakin deal, the level design was better on the SNES.
@Otouto72 Because different studios own the rights to Robocop and the Terminator films, whereas 20th Century Fox own both the Alien and Predator franchises. Not to mention that Robocop is already being developed for a remake unlike the Terminator franchise.

i liked the snes version better, mainly the music. the 1st level's music appears in the last fight which i thought made the scene very creepy. gosh damn, the whole future was fucking scary as hell to play through, especially the factory.

Also you need cheats for female enemies in the SEGA version. ALSO the SNES has a FPS sequence, and the enemies constantly respawn; also you lose your weapons and start levels over when you die in the SNES version; it's a bit harder than the SEGA Version. But let's be real guys; all version of this game kick ass.
@Ice1010 hmmm someone told me this was god awful compard to the Genesis version. Never honestly heard the Mega Drive version but I absolutely love the Master System version probably because of my love for the AY sound chip.
Well of course it would be from an emulator because 1. I don't have a SNES anymore and 2. I wouldn't have the technology to do it. I wouldn't know the difference also because I never owned this game. Sorry to disapoint.

@Otouto72 The soundtrack of the Sega version is one of the best in the era of 16 bits, there is no comparison to the SNES version.
SNES is a great system, but in this game the developers did a very bad job.
