As a guitar player myself. Feeling in your playing is the time and dedication you have spent on the instrument. So you can argue that the fastest guitarists is showing more ''feeling'' when they are playing than blues players who can barly name any not on the fretboard.

I am not into this Slash Vs any of the other GNR guitarist since. All I done was state what I feel to be true after seeing the old band 7 times and the new band 4.

IMO the new band in any incarnation have sounded better live than the old band.

Listen to old band playing Nightrain at toyko 92 to me it sucks ass compare to the new band. This is just one example of many.

well another thing you have to take into account is that times are different now. back in the day if you saw guns n' roses, motley crue, aerosmith and etc you knew you were going to see a badass show but also knew that there was a possibility you might also see everyone blown as fuck, lit up, or just hammered from doing drugs or getting drunk. nowadays most bands dont do that really and especially if you are a hired musician to play live for guns n' roses.

@steve63933 well, i dont think that people who state that the old band is better than the new refer to nightrain nor can you say that the band was worse in tokyo than in this show cause it was Axl's voice that was in bad shape during that period and not the rest of the band, but they actually refer to songs with difficult solos like november rain or sweet child o mine which the new members are unable to perform, because not being able to pull off the solo doesn't mean adding your own style..

Have a listen to Estranged from Rio 2011 and then tell me they can't play the F**K out the old songs. Bumblefoot and Ashba are nearly flawless!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go and listen to any of the old GNR live Nightrain performances and just compare. The old band played this song PAINFULLY SLOW. The new band speeds most of the old songs up and they work better live.

I grew up back in the hey day of the orginal band and to the new band kicks the old bands ass live. I have seen both in action and enjoyed the new bands show I seen much better
