Gundam - from a war theme anime to a Hobby Anime (Let's & Go, Beyblade, Yugioh, Crush Gear, Bakugan, B-Daman) If these is an anime series with many Seasons and chapters (lets and go and yugioh still at the top) Gunpla will be more popular even to non hobbyist.

@AliceSonicGundamFan The Japanese made Bonds of the Battlefield for Gundam and it uses the same cockpit system for the players. So it's not that far off to be done.

I've watched all three episodes. Man, this would've been great as an anime rather than an OVA. However, this was like a tribute to the Gundam legacy. It's not like the other Gundam series with any conflict between two sides in a drawn out war to the death. This was down to earth story featuring a boy who loves Gundam and building the Gunpla figures. No one killed one another, they fought in competitions for fun using the Gunpla they built with their own hands.

@TheHiddenBoss Yes! It's the embodyment of joy all gundam fans experience from watching the show and building the Gunplay! It was amazing seeing older MS in newly animated forms. I do agree with you, it would have been very interesting if it was a Series and not and OVA, but OVA's are usally short but always sweet.
