@Dargonhuman homecoming has terrible control, terrible voice acting it's a rip off of silent hill 2(just like shattered memories & origins) the reason is because it's not made by team silent. It's by some no good douche bag that can't spot a good game when he sees one. Interveiw from the creator of sh:H AND I QUOTE "...the combat in silent hill was always shitty..." when he made it worse. The combat involves glitching the terrible AI into a beatdown in which they cannot attack, or the opposite.

@AYBEE11 That wasn't my experience at all. I've played both 2 and Homecoming and I felt they were definitely different. Yea, the acting was terrible... so were most all the other SH games, if we're going to be honest.

There were glitches, yes, but the controls handled just fine for me, and the combat WAS better than 2. I took my share of hits during battles but it never felt one-sided and except for a few minor similarities, the stories were different enough to be unique

@AYBEE11 i would hardly say the others were ripping-off Silent Hill 2. Yes the 2nd game was probably the highest point of the series but the sequels all brought their own stuff to the series. Shattered Memories i think is the best since SH3, even though fans say it ruins the first game. It's not the same game its a completely different outing and has a different story/gameplay etc.

Actually this part wasn`t very scary for me, scary parts in sh4 for me would have to be when you first get to the apartment world and then the hellish apartment world at the end of the game. Also the subway really always freaked me out. I still hate playing that part alone on a dark night. Sh4 may be hated by alot of the hcore series fans but I like it, In it`s own different and beautiful way.
