@sherynnegps Braided rivers have been difficult to model for a very long time. Berkley managed to do it after years of research and creating more cohesive banks with plants. I've been working on this, too, using fine sand and a mud layer to simulate a floodplain along with a depositional basin for sediment to travel to. This has given me the best meander results, but I'm still working on it.
Is this analagous to what happens in submarine canyon/fan complexes?

is it from gravity? earth rotations ?
