@IceFireBlast it is a TAS (tool assisted speed run) these speed runs are accomplished using the magical computer programs known as: Emulators. Emulators use things called ROMs to recreate game that were released on other mediums, like CD's, DVD's, or Cartridges. Since it isn't the actual game data; there are usually some errors in the visuals, and some in the gameplay. However, emulators are required for TAS because Emulators allow use of various "tools" or cheats to beat the game faster.
