I found the sure to grow cubes took some micro management for germination ince they dry out so fast. Kind of a hassle compared to regular old starter plugs.

Seeds presoaked for 24 hours in 3%

H202, or sea minerals, usually pop within 2-3 days. Germinating seeds should be kept in the dark until the first leaf set rises above the cube. Continue with RO water until that leaf set begins to dry up: it provides all the nutes the plant needs in the beginning. Then introduce very dilute nutrients (10%) until you see roots breaking through the bottom of the cubes.
