Annoying how he overshadowed the gameplay so you could only see half of it at all times. Surprising how he's putting it down until the last 10 seconds where he gives it a perfect 5/5 (wtf?)

If you lose control it's not because you're shit, it's because the controls are rubbish, especially if you're good at the Wii version.

It has a steep learning curve. Keep trying and focus. If I can get to level 100, it's not impossible.

hear, hear. I'm tired of listening to folks complain about the controls. I blew through most levels and was frustrated with a handful of them. I've finally managed to make it to level 100, and can't seem to conquer this fall-out-sucker. If folks knew how toned-down the levels were from gamecube and wii versions simply to compensate for the super-motion-sensitive controls on the iphone, they wouldn't complain so much. Suck it up and learn how to roll your monkey's ball!

Nice review their Tom. I remember playing it on the n-gage (don't judge me!) and enjoyed it quite a lot. That version however didn't have the motion sensor. Even then I was still rubbish at it!

Monkey ball is cool on the game consoles, but the controls aren't great on the iPhone.

I think it works really well when you get used to it. Crash Bandicoot Racing is good too. Nice use of green screen.
