I think Hufflepuffs are the potheads of Hogwarts. Think about it. The Houses' name is suggestive of smoking. The Head of the house is Professor Sprout, the Herbology teacher, and Hufflepuffs are known to be slight underachievers. Maybe they're just chillin' most of the time.
