Man, what a song. While in college and a DJ, I must have mixed it a million times. Didn't get that much airplay but was really popular in house parties. Anybody know what ever became of the group? Did they have an album or was this a one time only hit?

Unfortunately, It was 1 time only. I did, however do two more singles by myself on other labels. The first one was S.A.V.E.I.T. on Metropolis records in 1986 and the next was Special Love on RCA about a year after that. I don't know what happened to the other girl. We fell out of touch after we stopped performing together.

S.A.V.E.I.T. was done under Jeanine Carter, a misspelling of my name, and Special love was done under the name Neanna on Tuff City records, a division of RCA. I don't have any idea on how to get any of the recordings now but if you find out, please let me know. I also did background for a white female rapper, Shell E on the song Playhouse on a compilation album called Body Jams on RCA. Shell E is a BAAD rapper who never got a break because the industry wasn't ready for a white female rapper.
