Thanks for this,I mentioned this on the Steel Guitar Forum,I have Cal Hand's Wylie Butler album which is so different from any steel album in the 70's.
I'm still curious about the Wylie Butler story,Great steeler, thnx again
'Wylie Butler' is a gem. Beautiful solo pieces & duets with Leo Kottke. Not the flashiest player, but the tone is perfect. That LP began my love affair with the steel. The rewards from appreciating this instrument more than make up for the loss of coolness capital from my acquaintances. Thanks to whomever for posting this.
Smooth ~ not exactly my kind of music but sounds good. What tuning are we in on that six-banger? Thanks!
