I had one of these but the novelty wore off pretty quickly.

The first 4 or 5 patches are incredible sounds though.I just wish there was an option to edit sounds and store your own patches.

While I can get a lot of similar sounds (in fact, quite a few of them, although there's no bitcrusher, sadly) with my POD HD500 with some creative routing and assigning parameters to the expression pedal, this has that cool lo-fi sound, whereas my HD500 runs at a pristine 24-bit/48kHz, and as such doesn't have that awesome-sounding and distinctly digital high-end you get from the aliasing. I want one. Digitech doesn't seem to realize they'd make a killing with a limited-edition reissue.

@HolyKatana i agree with all that you said! I use a tone potr ux2. pristine and perfect. the downfall of this unit was the sdisk technology, which was the key to this thing. It was a FRAGILE little disc. i kept mine in its box and it fell off the backseat in the car, while in box mind you, and never worked again. just hiss....

Nice little toy but overall that's what it is, just a toy for guitarists. Not even close to the Roland GR - Axon guitar synth technologies. If you want to make REAL warm & thick synth sounds, you need a REAL SYNTH, i guess thats why Digitech discontinued these...

i think mine needs a complete service. i got alot of gain when i play no matter how low the volume is at the back of it. and some of the effects i think are meant to work a certain way aren't. i hope they can fix it even if it is an old pedal.

i have this pedal but it is broken. the level knob on it sticks out and wasnt protected in any way so it got bumped and the level knob pushed into the housing and cracked the board it was mounted  too... i loved the sounds i got when it worked though. was awesome.

@frylocdub I own the RP80 and lost some buttons, too. You need to be very careful with plastic knobs from digitech :-D it´s a pity, but next time I will buy high quality.

There are some delay pedals that offer the reverse delay which is the basis of the warp effects. The dd-7 and the digidelay both do I believe.

Maybe the line6 Verbzilla could in octave mode with the first few sounds. the DD-6 and DD-7 have reverse mode, but the DD-6 has a warp mode.

just buy a jetpack modded xp1000. its pretty much a digitech xp enclosure with the chips for the digitech xp400 reverberator, xp200 modulator, xp300 space station(this very one), and xp100 whammy wah all in one unit. only $350.00 too, theres one on ebay.
