I'm a CrossFitter. One of the workouts we had over the summer was H.O.R.S.E. Remember that? The coach had us jog out to a basketball court. The first person to make a shot called the workout. Whoever didn't make the shot got a letter and had to do the workout. The workout would be like 10 burpees, 10 handstand pushups, sprints, anything you could do quickly. I realize it's not tennis or golf but it made the workout more fun.
I think you should get a group of kids together and play touch football or flag football. When I lived in Boston playing football in the snow and leaves was great. I miss Boston ;(
Hi Sarah! I just recently started up tennis again. I play golf as well. I didn't start golfing until 10 years ago. Your swing is very smooth! You look like a natural athlete!
you are so right sarah. i have so much weight to lose and i now work out 4 hours a day and i cry the whole time thinking about why i let this happen. exercise is a shameful torture to me
If youre like me, golf is an excellent way to exercise. I always take 5 times more swings than the people im with and when i miss my 4th tee shot in a row, I proceed to bang my clubs and throw them in the trees. Now guess who has to climb up and get them? ;) lmao. Keep passing on the knowledge Sarah, you keep me motivated to hit the gym.
Thanks for sharing this simple idea for exercising and making it fun. You are right though, we often forget the simple obvious things. Oh and congrats on getting the TV spot I voted for you. :)
Glad you won the Boston tv contest, two of them seemed so forced. It was between you and one other girl and my bias was towards you of course :) Congrats.

can someone please answer? where is the exercise part in golf? to me it seems more about concentration than using your body.

well if you walk the whole course with your golf bag on your back, that is def. more of work out than sitting in the cart the whole round
