Oh it's not that he failed on keeping his word. He never intended on keeping it. He simply told Americans what they wanted to hear. Gonna reform the Patriot Act He should have abolished it. He swore to uphold the constitution. The supreme court ruled long ago that any law inacted that is contrary to the U.S.Constitution is not a legal law. The only man in the world that can tell a lie out of both sides of his mouth at the same time. Just go on youtube "Obama's campaign lies" "Unkept promises"
Bob, the Tea Party wants a lot of people "taken out". Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? It does not take the democratic party to get people to believe anything. People know what the Tea Party is about from their own mouths, everytime they speak. They are a bunch or radical whack jobs who SHAME the original Boston Tea Party and you know it.
aid for Israel cost the US $3.05 billion where were the Tea Party? Iraq and Afghanistan cost the US between $5.5 billion and $7.1 billion where were the Tea Party People?Racism is at the crux of the movement. As for Obama he is finished he won't win the next election his message was change where is the change? the only change that he be leaving office Americas only salvation now is Ron Paul.
The majority of them support and want David Duke former KKK leader, white separatists, and anti-semite to become president if he could (he is banned from doing so because of felony charge of tax fraud in 2002). For this MAJOR fact alone I wouldn't want them anywhere in the government running it not even behind the counter at McDonalds taking my order. Whoever supports these fucks and lets them crawl into office I will just say to the good decent Americans get ready for the dark ages
@RisingOfThePhoenixx The Tea Party is not racist, I know i've been to Tea Party meetings and I have seen non-whites there including blacks, I know blacks who back the Tea Party, these very blacks are anti-Obama and feel Obama does not speak for them.
because the Tea Party is full of dumbass brainwashed crazy rednecks? Durrrrr, people in politics need to be smart and not corrupt, the Tea party is NEITHER of those things.
Yeah, two of the major Republican candidates decry Social security and Medicare as Socialist relics of the past that are federal "Ponzi schemes," totally not against these programs though. Let's also become stricken with amnesia over the audotorium full of Tea Partiers chanting, "let him die," in reference to the uninsured. The level of congnitive dissonance in the political discourse in this age is astounding. Let me guess, the "liberal media," is responsible for their own words.
@johnnyangel26 The joke would be a trifle funnier if you knew how to spell 'ketchup' (or 'catsup') correctly. But expecting an iota of intelligence from a Ron Paul supporter is far too much to ask.
@tgear77 Touche, ya got me! But is that really all it takes for you to pass judgement on someone? The mere missplelling of such an insignificant word? A word almost as unimportant as you dopey libs? Really?? Are you certain you want to get into a battle of wits with me when you are so woefully unarmed? I eat liberals like you for lunch!! You people are rock STUPID! And it's a proven fact every single day! Everyone sees it except you idiots. A fish has no clue that it's wet..
@johnnyangel26 Well, since that word is the crux of the entire joke, it really isn't insignificant. And since it is a common everyday word and you failed to use either of the correct spellings, it kind of points out how low your IQ really is. What is truly comical is that you fail to understand either of those points and yet want to challenge me to a game of wits. Please. Would it help if I dared you? Destroying morons like you is not only an easy thing to do, but so much fun.
Nice SHOW!!!! Pretty good actor for ratings asshole!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or you're a drug adict you anti American Bastard. You look and sound like a loser with no life.
Hypocritical double standard morons sicken me to the soul. Bob you really need to make a shirt that says "ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?! ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!"
Idiots like you are why people hate America. If you looked at the text of Hoffa's comments or even just watched the whole video (since I doubt you can read), you would find that Hoffa told the crowd there that the Tea Party "sons of bitches" need to be "taken out" of office by people using their votes. Anyone reading or viewing it in context with half a brain would know he was not calling for anyone to be killed. That is Michelle Bachmann's idea. Learn the facts next time.
For the record, the Tea Party wasn't even a movement until after stimulus. It was opposed by the Republicans even though they created the toxic economy that required the federal government to step in and bail out the banks and auto industry. Stimulus also had over $200 billion in tax cuts but they weren't for the top 2% of income earners so they opposed them. When are you idiot conservative going to wake up to the realization that supply-side economics only produces debt and jobs in China?
@juggernautxtr Ironic how you claim my posts are stupid and yet have nothing of substance to say. Why not try to refute my post instead of complaining about "stupid liberal ranting fucktards?" Clearly, you are intimidated by my knowledge and grasp of the facts and therefore scared to make even a feeble attempt at debating me. Sorry if you feel threatened by me but I will not let some urine-soaked crybaby deter me from showing what a bunch of idiots Boob and his cheerleaders are. Now fuck off
@Wingnutserstoopid don't need any substance every piss ant jealous word out of your liberal tard mouth just proves how absolutely ignorant you are.
i have already slammed your stupid ass three or 4 times would you like another try?
clinton didn't balance the budget a republican congress did..... your democrats were in charde 85% of bushes tenoir as president.... try again fuck tard go home and shut the fuck up.
@juggernautxtr Me ignorant? Clinton balanced the budget. He proposed the budget that was approved by Congress. It was his tax increase that balanced the budget and led to a surplus. The GOP cried like bitches and said it the tax increase would kill the economy. Strange how it led to 22 MILLION NEW JOBS! Bush, had a GOP controlled Congress for 6 of his 8 years, you stoooopid mother fucker. He cut taxes, spent on Medicare Part D, two wars and squandered Clinton's surplus. Try again, dummy!
@Wingnutserstoopid government jobs fucktard.... gee unemployment by the governments own fucking poll says it gone up 3% since Obama started office...... again dumb ass democratic bs again spreading falicy to keep morons like you off the truth.
go home moron wake up drink some damn coffee..... and quit watching propaganda on tv and reading it in news papers.
Obama keeps saying that the wealthy need to pay their fair share, but Obama hasn't defined (fair) All Obama says is "more" I don't understand how someone can philosophically think that 1 person needs to pay a higher percent of their income to the government just because they earned more money. Does Obama think that the rich are somehow inferior to the poor? Does Obama believe that the rich are somehow less deserving of the money that they earn? How is making 1 person pay more than another fair?
@intrepidorator It sounds like Obama believes that the wealthy have gotten their income "unfairly", Why else would he demand that the rich be punished for succeeding. Obama seems to be (in his mind) "righting wrongs" by overtaxing the rich. We don't need a president that feels the need to take money which was legally earned by 1 person and give it to a person that didn't earn it. This is theft, pure and simple.
@intrepidorator It is not 'over-taxing" the rich. It is simply putting back the tax rate that they were paying 10 years ago. He also is in favor of closing some of the loopholes that allow such people to keep from paying their share even now. When most of the top 2% can get away with paying 20% or less each year while the rest of us have to pay our fair share, the system needs to be changed. Especially since this system does not create jobs, regardless of what the GOP claims.
@tgear77 Yes it is overtaxing the rich. If anyone puts the tax rate higher on one group than another, it is overtaxing. It is a fundemental philosophy question. Why does 1 group of people be expected to pay a higher percentage of their income? The rich are already paying the vast majority of taxes. The richest 1% forks over 31.1 percent of its income to the federal government. while the middle class only pays 13.9% (according to the CBO 2010) I hope I've helped you understand.
@intrepidorator If you did any research on the subject, you would know that Obama wants to repeal the Bush tax cuts on the top 2% which would put their tax rate back to what it was under Clinton. It would raise their taxes after the first $250,000 of income by 3%.
@tgear77 Of course I know what the Obama regime wants to do. Raising taxes slows the economy. Americas economy can not afford a 3% tax increase, it will cause a similiar drop in growth. Just look at Obamas economic record, he has no idea what to do to create jobs, Hell He still thinks that the govt can create jobs. All the govt can do is provide a pro-business environment to encourage job growth. Higher taxes and increased regulations do not provide a pro-business environment.
@intrepidorator Let's see, the past century proves you wrong. When the government has raised taxes on the top 2%, the economy improved and jobs were created. When Republicans practiced "trickle-down" economics, the economy tanked and job creation declined. Every economist worth his salt calls for the gov't to cancel the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy. Yet idiots like you scream that it is wrong.
@tgear77 Ummm, NO... I already explained to you. Reagan DROPPED the tax rate from 70% to 28%. While I provide facts and figures you only shout nonsense.
@intrepidorator Yes, he did. And then, when the economy started losing jobs at a rate not seen since the Depression and unemployment soared to 18%, Saint Reagan turned around and ushered in the largest tax increase in US history. He also proceeded to raise taxes 10 more times during his presidency. The result of his raising taxes were 17 million jobs created. Add those to the 23 million created by Clinton after he raised the top tax rates and you have 40 million jobs created with tax increases..
@tgear77 (cont) and not with "trickle-down" economics. Whereas the Bush tax cuts lead to a loss of over 8 million jobs. So what have we learned, what do all economists know, that tax cuts and Trickle-Down thinking do nothing but hurt the economy and cost jobs. Tax increases vitalize the economy and create jobs. You can stop with your BS now and simply accept the truth.
@tgear77 Listen, in order to be taken seriously you need to provide facts, numbers, dates etc. Your blanket statements are meaningless to any thoughtful person. Did Reagan raise taxes to anywhere near the 70% mark that he inherited? No of course not.
Heh... Every economist also called what Obama's been doing by way of what FDR did as folly as well. They've pretty much called out that FDR PROLONGED the Great Depression for seven years longer than it needed to be. The government can't "create" jobs. You can't tax your way to prosperity. It should also be noted that if "idiots" like you knew precisely who was asking for "taxing the rich" and how the "rich" actually earn money- you'd drop it as all you're doing is TAXING THE HELL OUT OF US.
@DarkElf2k Thank you for demonstrating that you only regurgitate the RightWing talking points without ever discovering what the facts are. The New Deal in FDR's first term was a roaring success that saved this country from complete economic collapse. It wasn't until his second term, in 1937, that FDR want against what the economists in his Administration were telling him about curbing the New Deal and attempting to balance the budget that FDR went off track and committed to policies that...
@tgear77 (cont) helped prolong the Depression. So, no, what Obama is proposing is nothing like what happened to FDR in '37, despite the lies the GOP spreads. Stop spreading the bullshit and actually try and use your brain next time.
1. Its funny how people talking about Hoffas speech always edit or leave out the part where he makes it clear hes talking about taking them out as in VOTING them out. Why do people have to lie to make a point? Its one thing to disagree with Obama bob, but this is a BLATANT LIE. Hoffa made it clear in the full clip he was talking about voting the tea party members out.
@TheMysteriousAtheist RIGHT, and Sarah Palin made it clear that when she used terms like "targeted district" she was talking about getting the vote out, but that didn't stop the libtards from claiming that it ws violent rhetoric. did it?
@intrepidorator for starters the whole Palin fiasco didnt refer to anything she said. No one got on her for saying targetted districts. The fiasco involving her was when SOME commentators made mention of the map thats it.
@TheMysteriousAtheist So this proves my point even better, Palin didn't even say it, but it was pointed out and called violent rhetoric. Hoffa did say the words "Take them out", It was no accident, Hoffa chose that term intentionally. I hope that you aren't naive enough to believe that Hoffa didn't know exactly what would be inferred.
@intrepidorator Wrong. Again the full quote is "Everybody has a vote. If we go back, and keep an eye on the prize, lets take these sons of bitches out and give america back where america belongs". The right wing just conveniently edited out the vote part, and now you fear mongers run with it. How can you support the GOP, a party who only cares about the rich? Who gives tax cuts and subsidies to the rich, while cutting middle class programs?
@TheMysteriousAtheist Wrong? how am I wrong, I told you that Hoffa used those words intentionally, You'll see, the union thugs have gotten their marching orders, you will see union violence and I hope that you'll look back and admit to yourself that I was right.
How can I support the GOP, because they are right on most issues, The GOP is mostly a pro-life, pro defense, pro-liberty party. How can you support a party that supports killing babies, cutting national defense and wants to take rights?
@intrepidorator Bullshit. There were no 'marching orders' for 'union thugs'. Hoffa was calling for people to vote Tea Party morons out of office. If you can't grasp that simple concept, then you are mentally deficient. I also love how you claim that the Left wants to take away rights because they support gun control, but that the Right is pro-liberty even though they want to take away freedom of speech and other such BOR freedoms and they want to stop workers from being represented fairly. LOL!
@tgear77 LMAO,, Well I've told you what I think, We'll see whos right. But mark my words, there will be union violence during this election cycle. You will see that I am right. Also, you might want to watch Wall street on Sept 17th. I've heard that some anrchists are going to march on Wall Street. I will be proven right on the Wall Street march and the Union violence.
As for the union workers, It is a conflict of interest to have PUBLIC employees unionized. Private companies can unionize, LMAO
@tgear77 LMAO,, Well I've told you what I think, We'll see whos right. But mark my words, there will be union violence during this election cycle. You will see that I am right. @TheMysteriousAtheist I gave you the benefit of the doubt, I assumed that you were smart enough to see that Hoffa and the progressive democrats for what they are. It looks like you have no independant thought, you're already a brain dead Obama worshipper. I hope that I'm wrong about you, but it looks like you're beyond reason.
@intrepidorator So thats all you've got? You give me an EDITED quote wth the vote portion edited out, I rebuff you with the full quote, and you've got no evidence? You resort to name calling? How telling.
@intrepidorator There is a huge difference between calling for people to be taken out of office by people voting them out and putting targets on them on a website. Palin didn't start using phrases like "targeted district" until after Giffords got shot.
@tgear77 Thats a lie, Palins targeted district posters were during her election. It's one thing to be a misinformed progressive, but to outright lie is unexcusable.
I would hope that you are not so naive that you don't understand that a Union President named Hoffa saying "take them out" isn't designed to send a message condoning violence. As I have said to others, We will see who is right. There will be union violence during this election cycle.
@intrepidorator "Her" election? Palin actually had posters of 'targeted districts' in other states during her election run for Governor of Alaska? She was a little bit ahead of the curve then, wasn't she? And stop with your bullshit about any union violence proving you right. Hoffa's full text has nothing to do with violence. So if, by chance, there is an incident of violence involving unions, there is no direct connection. For you to claim otherwise is just outright lying.
@AmericanPowerBase Hey dumb ass. Are you at least familiar with the budget process and do you know what Medicare Part D is? If Sean Hannity would get his genitals off of your face long enough for you to look it up, you might not look so stoooooopid.
I love how Obama has decided to initiate several conservative ideas to fight the debt and deficit problem. I'm looking forward to seeing Obama try and explain why 2 weeks ago he was asking congress to eliminate tax incentives for small business people, and now he wants to pass them in his name. I guess the only thing that matters to him is who will get credit, we all know that tax cuts stimulate the economy, even he said last year that raising taxes in a recession is a bad idea. What a bafoon.
@AmericanPowerBase exactly, I've debated this ignorant ass before, as soon as you bring out the facts he's gone with the wind. I enjoy proving these fools wrong.
Who is the TEA Party? WE THE PEOPLE, that's who. We are not bought and paid for like the Washington politicos. We are the waitress bringing your coffe, mechanic fixing yoru car, and soldier defending your freedom. You want to "take us out"? BRING IT!!!!
Tea Party is a frame of mind of a multitude of patriotic people, not a Union of Trumkanazi thugs.......Obama can not beat the Tea Party no matter how hard he may try.
Bob - it is about time you thought about the racial violence that Obama is spreading. The flash mobs etc that the media is ignoring because it is black on white violence. God forbid it was white on black violence they would be all over it. What happened to fairness? Where is Obama the great 'uniter"?
Remember the good ol' days when we just put people in front of a firing squad for treason? America was awesome then.
So let's execute the traitors. They're calling for our deaths. We can call it self defense. Hooray for the Castle Doctrine. America is my castle, and I'm going to defend it against these insane criminal intruders.
Screw Hoffa. Someone should make him disappear like his father. We can't kill people for disagreeing with us, but this shithead is calling for our deaths.
@Supermassively OK, let's start with the Koch brothers and then Dick Cheney. That will be a great beginning. Just don't let Cheney near a gun or he'll shoot you in the face and make you claim it was your fault.
@Supermassively Sorry, Pee Wee, but what I did was cleverly turn your moronic comment against you. Sorry if you are too ignorant to realize that you were owned on that one. Now crawl back to the kiddie table since you can't play with the adults.
@Supermassively Let me see here: you come to this thread claiming that Hoffa committed treason and should be taken out and shot like in the "good old days", then come back and insult me personally. Then, when I turn the tables on you and use your own words against you, it is I who have acted like a child? Thank you for proving how ignorant and pathetic you truly are. In the end, you have only embarrassed yourself, moron.
Ironic -- although it may not happen everytime someone pops on this video -- but that farce, himself, Barrack Obama's campaign ad is to the right of the video.
The Tea Party are a bunch of racist, political novices. They played games with the debt ceiling and the Dow has been schizo ever since. Hiring has come to a stand still. Our credit rating was downgraded because of them. Face it, they fucked everything up. They have done nothing to create jobs. If Roberta thinks things are so bad in this country, she should place blame squarely at the feet of those fucking racist idiots she helped elect.
@zombies8u Before the tea party downgrade I don't think it had ever happened before. You do know the majority of Americans rightfully blame the baggers for that, right?
@Wingnutserstoopid What you're trying hard not to say is that : The credit rating of the United States of America has NEVER been lowered EXCEPT while under 0bama's administration. I'm sorry that facts keep getting your way.
@zombies8u Standard and Poors are on the record blaming the tea baggers for the lowering of the credit rating. I'm surprised you even bring it up. I was wondering if you could tell me who was in office the last time 3,000 Americans were murdered by terrorists?
@zombies8u Huh? They lowered the credit rating and gave their reason. Whether or not I think they are "credible" or not is not relevant. I do know that the market has been all over the fucking place since the tea bagger downgrade. When is the Republican controlled House going to accept blame for the economy? If they vote as a block against everything the prez proposes, they kinda have taken ownership of the economy, doncha think? The American people do!
@zombies8u Who was in office when the economy started bleeding jobs at around 700,00 a month and the Dow began to tank? Who was in office when the banks needed bailed out? Was that Clinton's fault too?
Clinton, Clinton, Clinton. Do you see what a moronic hypocrite you are yet?
@Wingnutserstoopid You realize that you destroy any credibility you could've had, when you start pulling out retarded, obvious troll memes like "umadbro", right? You're just digging that grave even deeper.
@intrepidorator Too bad you couldn't remove your stoopid ass comment from my phone. LOL!!! You are so fucking stooooopid. The Democrats in college caused the housing crisis? Maybe you should go to college?
@Wingnutserstoopid yeah I made a typo mistake and fixed it, you're showing yoourself as an immature kid.
I went to college many years ago, was on the deans list, in case you don't know, that means I made good grades.
Now that I've corrected those mistakes I'll point out that you made no comment about my reply. The FACT that the economy stated to tank exactly when the Dems took congress. HMMM 6 years of Bush with a Republican congress nets positive results then Dems destroy the economy.
@intrepidorator It wasn't a typo. College and Congress aren't even close to being the same word. You typed the wrong word and so I busted your balls for it. Quit being such a thin-skinned pussy. I made the dean's list too but who cares? The reason I ignored your "fact" is because it is bullshit. Tell me, what did the dems do in 2007 to cause the economic meltdown? Did they have a veto-proof majority? Did they sneak something past Bush? Did they pass THEIR budget or Bush's? Well?
@intrepidorator Yes, The congress is responsible for the budget, the facts don't support your lame mindset. Just look at the deficits each year, under a democrat congress the deficits go up, under a republican congress they go down. Just look at Clintons surplus, that happened because of a conservative congress. Look at the deficits caused by the democrat congress for the last 3 years.
You need to look at the division of power, it is congresses job to produce the budget.
@intrepidorator Wrong. The president proposes a budget and Congress approves it. The deficits of the Bush era are on Bush and the GOP. The war in Iraq? Bush wanted it and he got it. The tax cuts of '01 and '03? Passed using reconciliation and opposed by Dems. They caused a 2 trillion dollar hole in the national debt and created ZERO jobs. Medicare Part D? Bush proposed it and the GOP voted for it. Funny, they called it socialism when Obama wanted reform. 9/11? Afghanistan? Bush again
@intrepidorator It is clear that you are sadly uninformed and a waste of my time. It is the PRESIDENTS job to submit a budget to Congress each year. Read the Budget and Accounting act of 1921. Bush got his budgets you stooopid fuck, regardless of who was in control of Congress. The tax cuts INCREASED the deficit by removing revenue and failing to produce the promised revenue increases that "voodoo economics" ALWAYS fail to produce. Btw, I am talking about Medicare Part D. Look that up too.
@Wingnutserstoopid I'm gonna go back to disregarding you because you're actually starting to type in tongues. Today is Friday, go make sure that you didn't take your Thursday pill or something.
@Wingnutserstoopid <--- Clearly displays the typical intolerance, venom, bile, bitterness and hatred of the liberal/socialist/democrats. The politics of hatred are being rejected all across the nation. They don't get it.
@JohnQuincyAdams1 The lefties are super desperate. The payroll trolls like wingstoop will be out of a job when Barry is. I think wingstoop made such a scene at Burger King that they won't let him back on fries.
@zombies8u - I agree with you. The liberal/socialist/democrats intolerance, venom, bile and bitter hatred is going over the top and driving people away from their warped agenda, thank God.
@Wingnutserstoopid I'll answer your question, It was the democrats in congress when the economy started bleeding jobs. It was the demorats in office when Bush and McCain tried to tighten regulations on Fannie mae and Freddie mac, but the Dems (Barney Frank, Harry Reid, etc) stopped the republicans from preventing the sub prime meltdown.
@Wingnutserstoopid UMM no, standard and poors partially blamed political deadlock in govt, not the tea party. I bet that you didn't know that standard and poors warned Obama of an impending downgrade back in April, the reason given was the out of control spending and a lack of will on his part to deal with the deficit.
@intrepidorator Everyone that wants to know which party is serious about deficit reduction should lok at this graph. I found it a few months ago on the internet and saved it to a photobucket account.
htt p : //i1219 . photobucket . com /albums /dd428 /intrepidorator /TheTruthAboutDeficits. png
@intrepidorator Exactly. Obama tried to get a deal done for months. The T-baggers were the ones who openly pledged to not raise the debt ceiling. Also, they refused to see any revenue increases, something that the S&P said needed to be addressed. You can spin it all you want. The American people know who manufactured a crisis and they are going to pay for it come November. Go ahead, nominate some t-bagger for president. Obama will win and the Dems will gain seats in the House and Senate
@Wingnutserstoopid I love it when the progressive idiots call the fiscally responsible people t-baggers. It just shows that the progressives are the ones being tea bagged. Sorry libtard, the spending spree is over, you can call names if it makes you feel better, but we in the Tea party are gonna reign in your stoopid spending.
@Wingnutserstoopid I can make a career out of correcting your many mistakes and lies, Obama has never, until today, produced a plan, he has made many speeches but has never put pen to paper and produced a plan that the CBO could score. Even lame brained Obama knew it was a bad idea to raise taxes during a recession, they did it in 1932, causing the depression to last for many years longer than it should have, Anyone who cares to study the effect of tax hikes on the economy knows better.
@intrepidorator Wrong again. Quit revising history. Obama did not want to extend the failed Bush tax cuts on the top 2% but the tea baggers cling to the failed voodoo economics of the Reagan era and still think tax cuts for millionaires somehow trickle down to the rest of Americans. In the 1920's, taxes were lowered on the top income earners. The stock market collapse was the main cause of the depression. The tax increases of the 1930's allowed the spending of the New Deal which got us out.
@Wingnutserstoopid It is the libtards that are spinning, Obama has said in this debate "The republicans need to prove that they put the country above party, and to do this they have to pass MY bill". So even a hypocrit like you can see that Obama demands compromise from the Republicans, but is not willing to budge on his ideas. Obama is a 1 term president.
@intrepidorator You are fucking high. Obama demands compromise? This bill is many things the GOP wants. The compromise is already done. The t-baggers refuse to compromise you idiot. The American people see this. That is why Congress has a lower approval rating than Obama. Obama will win EASILY in 2012. Do you really think an extreme t-bagger like Perry can win over independent voters. Obama is setting you douche bags up. T-bagger oppose Obama without exception, even when he cuts taxes
@Wingnutserstoopid The Tea Party refuses to compromise on measures that will harm the economy you stupid fool. Look at what the Tea Party is standing against. Tax Increases. You pompous ass, if the Tea Party allows tax increases you will see an extention of this Obama economy. Oh Yeah , hows that tea bag taste in your mouth libtard..lmao @ you.
@intrepidorator The GOP opposed stimulus which had over $200 billion in tax cuts. Taxes are at a 60 year low. Our debt has as much to do with spending as it does revenue. If the baggers REALLY cared about the debt, they would support revenue increases since cutting Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security alone won't fix the problem. Simply repeating a lie over and over again doesn't make it true. Demand creates jobs. Tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires have failed to deliver the jobs
@intrepidorator Funny that you bring up 1932. The New Deal brought this country out of a depression and no amount of revisionist history is going to change that. Why not look at more recent history to crush your piss-poor argument? Clinton raised taxes in '93. What happened next? Besides a balanced budget and a surplus, 22 MIL jobs were created and we experienced the greatest economic expansion in history. Bush cut taxes and what happened? The Great Recession and mountains of debt. PWNED!
@Wingnutserstoopid I love how you lefty dummies believe that federal spending ended the great depression, NO the new deal prolonged the depression.
The Surplus happened because of the republican congress convinced Clinton to sign welfare reform. That is the reason for the surplus. As I've told you before, at least I think it was you, when Republicans control congress the deficits go down, when the Dems control congress the deficits go up. Regardless of the presidents party. lol took u to school
@Wingnutserstoopid You're too stoooopid to believe. The Bush Tax cuts grew the economy by 40%. Your ignorance astounds me. During the Bush years we had the 911 attacks, 2 wars, hurricane Katrina, and the housing bubble burst, and still he managed to increase the GDP by $4 trillion and until the Dems took congress in 2007, Bush created 9 million jobs. Just face the truth, Republicans in congress means good economy, Dems in congress equals bad economy. 9 million jobs during that period in history.
@Wingnutserstoopid OK, School starts for you now. Tax increases always hurt the economy. for example. President Herbert Hoover asked for a temporary tax increase…in June 1932, raising the top income tax rate from 25% to 63% and quadrupling the lowest tax rate from 1.1% to 4%. That didn’t help confidence or the Treasury. Revenue from the individual income tax dropped from $834 million in 1931 to $427 million in 1932 and $353 million in 1933.
@TheMysteriousAtheist Are you kidding me? Yes when Reagan took office, the top marginal tax rate was 70%. Reagan dropped it to 28%. Reagan did not raise the tax rate to 70%, he lowered it from 70%. Reagan is a good example of how lowering tax rates grew the economy. You really need to research for yourself. Are you really being taught that Reagan raised taxes to 70%. He did not. Stop listening to whomever is misinforming you. Lower taxes means better economy, it really is just that simple.
@intrepidorator Wrong. Trickle down economics has never worked and never been shown to work. If thats the case then why is it Bush took our economy to the crapper? He lowered the top marginal tax rate by 3 percent, from 38 to 35 percent. Dont you realize that the republicans have you voting against your own interests? They have you believing that if we shower the rich with tax cuts and subsidies it will improve our economy, and it wont, and it never has.
@Wingnutserstoopid Corporate tax rates were trimmed and FDR’s “excess profits” tax was repealed, which meant that top marginal corporate tax rates effectively went to 38% from 90% after 1945….By the late 1940s, a revived economy was generating more annual federal revenue than the U.S. had received during the war years, when tax rates were higher. Price controls from the war were also eliminated by the end of 1946. The U.S. began running budget surpluses.
@Wingnutserstoopid In summary, coming out of a recession into a period when the economy should grow relatively rapidly, President Clinton signed a major tax increase. The average growth rate over his first term was a solid 3.2 percent. In 1997, at a time when the expansion was well along and economic growth should have slowed, Congress passed a modest net tax cut. The economy grew by a full percentage point-per-year faster over his second term than over Clinton’s first term.”

Obama keeps saying that the wealthy need to pay their fair share, but Obama hasn't defined (fair) All Obama says is "more" I don't understand how someone can philosophically think that 1 person needs to pay a higher percent of their income to the government just because they earned more money. Does Obama think that the rich are somehow inferior to the poor? Does Obama believe that the rich are somehow less deserving of the money that they earn? How is making 1 person pay more than another fair?
intrepidorator 5 months ago
@intrepidorator It sounds like Obama believes that the wealthy have gotten their income "unfairly", Why else would he demand that the rich be punished for succeeding. Obama seems to be (in his mind) "righting wrongs" by overtaxing the rich. We don't need a president that feels the need to take money which was legally earned by 1 person and give it to a person that didn't earn it. This is theft, pure and simple.
intrepidorator 5 months ago
@intrepidorator It is not 'over-taxing" the rich. It is simply putting back the tax rate that they were paying 10 years ago. He also is in favor of closing some of the loopholes that allow such people to keep from paying their share even now. When most of the top 2% can get away with paying 20% or less each year while the rest of us have to pay our fair share, the system needs to be changed. Especially since this system does not create jobs, regardless of what the GOP claims.
tgear77 5 months ago
@tgear77 Yes it is overtaxing the rich. If anyone puts the tax rate higher on one group than another, it is overtaxing. It is a fundemental philosophy question. Why does 1 group of people be expected to pay a higher percentage of their income? The rich are already paying the vast majority of taxes. The richest 1% forks over 31.1 percent of its income to the federal government. while the middle class only pays 13.9% (according to the CBO 2010) I hope I've helped you understand.
intrepidorator 5 months ago
@intrepidorator If you did any research on the subject, you would know that Obama wants to repeal the Bush tax cuts on the top 2% which would put their tax rate back to what it was under Clinton. It would raise their taxes after the first $250,000 of income by 3%.
tgear77 5 months ago
@tgear77 Of course I know what the Obama regime wants to do. Raising taxes slows the economy. Americas economy can not afford a 3% tax increase, it will cause a similiar drop in growth. Just look at Obamas economic record, he has no idea what to do to create jobs, Hell He still thinks that the govt can create jobs. All the govt can do is provide a pro-business environment to encourage job growth. Higher taxes and increased regulations do not provide a pro-business environment.
intrepidorator 5 months ago
@intrepidorator Let's see, the past century proves you wrong. When the government has raised taxes on the top 2%, the economy improved and jobs were created. When Republicans practiced "trickle-down" economics, the economy tanked and job creation declined. Every economist worth his salt calls for the gov't to cancel the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy. Yet idiots like you scream that it is wrong.
tgear77 5 months ago
@tgear77 Ummm, NO... I already explained to you. Reagan DROPPED the tax rate from 70% to 28%. While I provide facts and figures you only shout nonsense.
intrepidorator 5 months ago
@intrepidorator Yes, he did. And then, when the economy started losing jobs at a rate not seen since the Depression and unemployment soared to 18%, Saint Reagan turned around and ushered in the largest tax increase in US history. He also proceeded to raise taxes 10 more times during his presidency. The result of his raising taxes were 17 million jobs created. Add those to the 23 million created by Clinton after he raised the top tax rates and you have 40 million jobs created with tax increases..
tgear77 5 months ago
@tgear77 (cont) and not with "trickle-down" economics. Whereas the Bush tax cuts lead to a loss of over 8 million jobs. So what have we learned, what do all economists know, that tax cuts and Trickle-Down thinking do nothing but hurt the economy and cost jobs. Tax increases vitalize the economy and create jobs. You can stop with your BS now and simply accept the truth.
tgear77 5 months ago

DarkElf2k 5 months ago
@DarkElf2k Thank you for demonstrating that you only regurgitate the RightWing talking points without ever discovering what the facts are. The New Deal in FDR's first term was a roaring success that saved this country from complete economic collapse. It wasn't until his second term, in 1937, that FDR want against what the economists in his Administration were telling him about curbing the New Deal and attempting to balance the budget that FDR went off track and committed to policies that...

TheMysteriousAtheist 5 months ago
@TheMysteriousAtheist RIGHT, and Sarah Palin made it clear that when she used terms like "targeted district" she was talking about getting the vote out, but that didn't stop the libtards from claiming that it ws violent rhetoric. did it?
intrepidorator 5 months ago
@intrepidorator for starters the whole Palin fiasco didnt refer to anything she said. No one got on her for saying targetted districts. The fiasco involving her was when SOME commentators made mention of the map thats it.
TheMysteriousAtheist 5 months ago
@TheMysteriousAtheist So this proves my point even better, Palin didn't even say it, but it was pointed out and called violent rhetoric. Hoffa did say the words "Take them out", It was no accident, Hoffa chose that term intentionally. I hope that you aren't naive enough to believe that Hoffa didn't know exactly what would be inferred.
intrepidorator 5 months ago
@intrepidorator Wrong. Again the full quote is "Everybody has a vote. If we go back, and keep an eye on the prize, lets take these sons of bitches out and give america back where america belongs". The right wing just conveniently edited out the vote part, and now you fear mongers run with it. How can you support the GOP, a party who only cares about the rich? Who gives tax cuts and subsidies to the rich, while cutting middle class programs?
TheMysteriousAtheist 5 months ago
@TheMysteriousAtheist Wrong? how am I wrong, I told you that Hoffa used those words intentionally, You'll see, the union thugs have gotten their marching orders, you will see union violence and I hope that you'll look back and admit to yourself that I was right.
How can I support the GOP, because they are right on most issues, The GOP is mostly a pro-life, pro defense, pro-liberty party. How can you support a party that supports killing babies, cutting national defense and wants to take rights?
intrepidorator 5 months ago
@intrepidorator Bullshit. There were no 'marching orders' for 'union thugs'. Hoffa was calling for people to vote Tea Party morons out of office. If you can't grasp that simple concept, then you are mentally deficient. I also love how you claim that the Left wants to take away rights because they support gun control, but that the Right is pro-liberty even though they want to take away freedom of speech and other such BOR freedoms and they want to stop workers from being represented fairly. LOL!

TheMysteriousAtheist 5 months ago
@intrepidorator There is a huge difference between calling for people to be taken out of office by people voting them out and putting targets on them on a website. Palin didn't start using phrases like "targeted district" until after Giffords got shot.
tgear77 5 months ago
@tgear77 Thats a lie, Palins targeted district posters were during her election. It's one thing to be a misinformed progressive, but to outright lie is unexcusable.
I would hope that you are not so naive that you don't understand that a Union President named Hoffa saying "take them out" isn't designed to send a message condoning violence. As I have said to others, We will see who is right. There will be union violence during this election cycle.
intrepidorator 5 months ago
@intrepidorator "Her" election? Palin actually had posters of 'targeted districts' in other states during her election run for Governor of Alaska? She was a little bit ahead of the curve then, wasn't she? And stop with your bullshit about any union violence proving you right. Hoffa's full text has nothing to do with violence. So if, by chance, there is an incident of violence involving unions, there is no direct connection. For you to claim otherwise is just outright lying.

If Roberta thinks things are so bad in this country, she should place blame squarely at the feet of those fucking racist idiots she helped elect.
Wingnutserstoopid 5 months ago
@Wingnutserstoopid I was wondering if you could tell me who was in office the last time the country's credit rating was lowered?
zombies8u 5 months ago
@zombies8u Before the tea party downgrade I don't think it had ever happened before. You do know the majority of Americans rightfully blame the baggers for that, right?
Wingnutserstoopid 5 months ago
@Wingnutserstoopid What you're trying hard not to say is that : The credit rating of the United States of America has NEVER been lowered EXCEPT while under 0bama's administration. I'm sorry that facts keep getting your way.
zombies8u 5 months ago
@zombies8u Standard and Poors are on the record blaming the tea baggers for the lowering of the credit rating. I'm surprised you even bring it up. I was wondering if you could tell me who was in office the last time 3,000 Americans were murdered by terrorists?
Wingnutserstoopid 5 months ago
@Wingnutserstoopid Are S&P credible or not? Only when you like what they say? Barry doesn't like them, so...
zombies8u 5 months ago
@zombies8u Huh? They lowered the credit rating and gave their reason. Whether or not I think they are "credible" or not is not relevant. I do know that the market has been all over the fucking place since the tea bagger downgrade. When is the Republican controlled House going to accept blame for the economy? If they vote as a block against everything the prez proposes, they kinda have taken ownership of the economy, doncha think? The American people do!
Wingnutserstoopid 5 months ago
@Wingnutserstoopid Ya, if you tell me who was in office (dress stain) when it was planned, and what it was payback for.
zombies8u 5 months ago
@zombies8u Who was in office when the economy started bleeding jobs at around 700,00 a month and the Dow began to tank? Who was in office when the banks needed bailed out? Was that Clinton's fault too?
Clinton, Clinton, Clinton. Do you see what a moronic hypocrite you are yet?
You mad, bro?

@Wingnutserstoopid You realize that you destroy any credibility you could've had, when you start pulling out retarded, obvious troll memes like "umadbro", right? You're just digging that grave even deeper.

@intrepidorator Too bad you couldn't remove your stoopid ass comment from my phone. LOL!!! You are so fucking stooooopid. The Democrats in college caused the housing crisis? Maybe you should go to college?
Wingnutserstoopid 5 months ago
@Wingnutserstoopid yeah I made a typo mistake and fixed it, you're showing yoourself as an immature kid.
I went to college many years ago, was on the deans list, in case you don't know, that means I made good grades.
Now that I've corrected those mistakes I'll point out that you made no comment about my reply. The FACT that the economy stated to tank exactly when the Dems took congress. HMMM 6 years of Bush with a Republican congress nets positive results then Dems destroy the economy.
intrepidorator 5 months ago
@intrepidorator It wasn't a typo. College and Congress aren't even close to being the same word. You typed the wrong word and so I busted your balls for it. Quit being such a thin-skinned pussy. I made the dean's list too but who cares? The reason I ignored your "fact" is because it is bullshit. Tell me, what did the dems do in 2007 to cause the economic meltdown? Did they have a veto-proof majority? Did they sneak something past Bush? Did they pass THEIR budget or Bush's? Well?

@intrepidorator OOps another typo, that should be they go down under a republcan congress.
intrepidorator 5 months ago
@intrepidorator Yes, The congress is responsible for the budget, the facts don't support your lame mindset. Just look at the deficits each year, under a democrat congress the deficits go up, under a republican congress they go down. Just look at Clintons surplus, that happened because of a conservative congress. Look at the deficits caused by the democrat congress for the last 3 years.
You need to look at the division of power, it is congresses job to produce the budget.
intrepidorator 5 months ago
@intrepidorator Wrong.

Can you see your stupidity yet?
Mad now?
intrepidorator 5 months ago
@Wingnutserstoopid UMM no, standard and poors partially blamed political deadlock in govt, not the tea party. I bet that you didn't know that standard and poors warned Obama of an impending downgrade back in April, the reason given was the out of control spending and a lack of will on his part to deal with the deficit.

@intrepidorator Everyone that wants to know which party is serious about deficit reduction should lok at this graph. I found it a few months ago on the internet and saved it to a photobucket account.

Wingnutserstoopid 5 months ago
@Wingnutserstoopid I love it when the progressive idiots call the fiscally responsible people t-baggers. It just shows that the progressives are the ones being tea bagged. Sorry libtard, the spending spree is over, you can call names if it makes you feel better, but we in the Tea party are gonna reign in your stoopid spending.
intrepidorator 5 months ago
@Wingnutserstoopid I can make a career out of correcting your many mistakes and lies, Obama has never, until today, produced a plan, he has made many speeches but has never put pen to paper and produced a plan that the CBO could score. Even lame brained Obama knew it was a bad idea to raise taxes during a recession, they did it in 1932, causing the depression to last for many years longer than it should have, Anyone who cares to study the effect of tax hikes on the economy knows better.
intrepidorator 5 months ago
@intrepidorator Wrong again. Quit revising history. Obama did not want to extend the failed Bush tax cuts on the top 2% but the tea baggers cling to the failed voodoo economics of the Reagan era and still think tax cuts for millionaires somehow trickle down to the rest of Americans. In the 1920's, taxes were lowered on the top income earners. The stock market collapse was the main cause of the depression. The tax increases of the 1930's allowed the spending of the New Deal which got us out.
Wingnutserstoopid 5 months ago
@Wingnutserstoopid It is the libtards that are spinning, Obama has said in this debate "The republicans need to prove that they put the country above party, and to do this they have to pass MY bill". So even a hypocrit like you can see that Obama demands compromise from the Republicans, but is not willing to budge on his ideas. Obama is a 1 term president.
intrepidorator 5 months ago
@intrepidorator You are fucking high. Obama demands compromise? This bill is many things the GOP wants. The compromise is already done. The t-baggers refuse to compromise you idiot. The American people see this. That is why Congress has a lower approval rating than Obama. Obama will win EASILY in 2012. Do you really think an extreme t-bagger like Perry can win over independent voters. Obama is setting you douche bags up. T-bagger oppose Obama without exception, even when he cuts taxes
Wingnutserstoopid 5 months ago
@Wingnutserstoopid The Tea Party refuses to compromise on measures that will harm the economy you stupid fool. Look at what the Tea Party is standing against. Tax Increases. You pompous ass, if the Tea Party allows tax increases you will see an extention of this Obama economy. Oh Yeah , hows that tea bag taste in your mouth libtard..lmao @ you.
intrepidorator 5 months ago

PWNED!
Wingnutserstoopid 5 months ago
@Wingnutserstoopid I love how you lefty dummies believe that federal spending ended the great depression, NO the new deal prolonged the depression.
The Surplus happened because of the republican congress convinced Clinton to sign welfare reform. That is the reason for the surplus. As I've told you before, at least I think it was you, when Republicans control congress the deficits go down, when the Dems control congress the deficits go up. Regardless of the presidents party. lol took u to school
intrepidorator 5 months ago
@Wingnutserstoopid You're too stoooopid to believe. The Bush Tax cuts grew the economy by 40%. Your ignorance astounds me. During the Bush years we had the 911 attacks, 2 wars, hurricane Katrina, and the housing bubble burst, and still he managed to increase the GDP by $4 trillion and until the Dems took congress in 2007, Bush created 9 million jobs. Just face the truth, Republicans in congress means good economy, Dems in congress equals bad economy. 9 million jobs during that period in history.
intrepidorator 5 months ago
@Wingnutserstoopid OK, School starts for you now. Tax increases always hurt the economy. for example. President Herbert Hoover asked for a temporary tax increase…in June 1932, raising the top income tax rate from 25% to 63% and quadrupling the lowest tax rate from 1.1% to 4%. That didn’t help confidence or the Treasury. Revenue from the individual income tax dropped from $834 million in 1931 to $427 million in 1932 and $353 million in 1933.
I'll continue your lesson in another reply.
intrepidorator 5 months ago
@intrepidorator Really? Reagan had a top tax rate in the 70s yet you Republicans worship the man. Why is that?
TheMysteriousAtheist 5 months ago
@TheMysteriousAtheist Are you kidding me? Yes when Reagan took office, the top marginal tax rate was 70%. Reagan dropped it to 28%. Reagan did not raise the tax rate to 70%, he lowered it from 70%. Reagan is a good example of how lowering tax rates grew the economy. You really need to research for yourself. Are you really being taught that Reagan raised taxes to 70%. He did not. Stop listening to whomever is misinforming you. Lower taxes means better economy, it really is just that simple.
intrepidorator 5 months ago
@intrepidorator Wrong.
TheMysteriousAtheist 5 months ago
@Wingnutserstoopid Corporate tax rates were trimmed and FDR’s “excess profits” tax was repealed, which meant that top marginal corporate tax rates effectively went to 38% from 90% after 1945….By the late 1940s, a revived economy was generating more annual federal revenue than the U.S. had received during the war years, when tax rates were higher. Price controls from the war were also eliminated by the end of 1946. The U.S. began running budget surpluses.
The lesson continues..
intrepidorator 5 months ago
@Wingnutserstoopid In summary, coming out of a recession into a period when the economy should grow relatively rapidly, President Clinton signed a major tax increase. The average growth rate over his first term was a solid 3.2 percent. In 1997, at a time when the expansion was well along and economic growth should have slowed, Congress passed a modest net tax cut. The economy grew by a full percentage point-per-year faster over his second term than over Clinton’s first term.”
Class dismissed LOL
