Without sounding disrespectful... Traver is 'quaters-in'. They would both have the inside flexion. Some horses do quarters-in because of a lack of straightness but would still normally have correct fexion.
in a nutshell.... if you had the correct bend straight away it would have been traver or quarters-in. Entirely up to you how posh you wanna sound.
I hate smart a**e people who like cheapdis but i love it when there wrong.
Hi, I can't believe your trainer is not spotting the issue here. if, when you rise up, you position your weight into the direction of the movement, it will all fall into place, and your hand & leg aids will soften dramatically. You are doing great and your horse seams very submissive, people who made back comments should realize that the trainer hasn't enforced the seat and weight aids so the rider is doing the best she can with what she knows causing minimal discomfort to the horse.
Well done :D This video helped me to remember that how horse's legs move in travers, so thanks :D And your horse is beautiful! (Yes, I write bad english)
Nice job. Thanks for the video. I'm trying to get mine together too- you had a lots more success in getting it than I did in mine. So hard to keep that bend....
hahahaahha, apparently she has pretty decent hands if her horse is carrying his head where he is. and no seat? watch the video of her cantering, she has a very nice seat. getting your house more on his hind legs will show he's moving forward.
I watch your lessons before I take my lesson for the week. You are a inspiration! The quality of your videos is outstanding. Your horse is lovely and you look great together!
I just love all of your videos, they really have helped me out. You guys are a great pair!

You are so right... I have learned this (finally) and I think it applies to all lateral movements, not just travers.
