my friend, i have years of experience of fishing with an underwater camera...It is easy to tell that these fish are a minimum of 7.5 to 8 inche gills..great fish..Indiana here and the fish are biting well...i do some release also..it feels good to give back to nature sometimes..peace out
Lol, the music is strangely appropriate in the beginning...nice video! I love the underwater view, and how the bluegill just disappear when they're reeled in.
I used to fish at the local pier, but after finding out that there were bluegill at the park, I decided to try fishing there instead. The pond is pretty small, and so were the fish (about 4-6 inches), the fun was gigantic. The only thing is, I gotta practice catching and releasing better. So if anyone has tips....
what is the outcome and how big. Some of these B/G's may have have only been 3 inches, a good fishin story is never finished w/o photo in hand of the take.
whoa, were they bitin' or what?! were you using a flavored artificial? i thought i saw traces of the bait thru the water on a rare missed hook set. if so, i think i witnessed its effectiveness to trigger fish bites. great video for sure. only thing missing, imo, was showing off all the fish that were caught in the end.
wow,
it looks like a good place 2 fish :D

Cool footage. I have debating whether to get me an underwater camera or not.
I've talked to many guys that say they wouldn't fish any other way.

Thanks for the comments, the key to catch and release is having pliers on you and keeping time out of the water to a minimum.

It was a fun morning, I was using Gulp maggots and live mousies but the cloud-puff was from the live bait.
