I know, our government doesn't maintain such historic places even to the least acceptable level. Another thing, people are considering such places as tourist place rather than respecting the history behind it. I may not be able to physically present there and bring the desired changes, but I can atleast do whatever least possible to preserve our history and pay my homage to that great hero. This is a very minuscule effort, but something is better than nothing, I believe.
