  • I have 2 tattoos & 7 piercings, nose, lebret, belly, industrial, inner ear & a pair of others I got when I was younger. I got them not to fit in but because I like them & as far as the piercings go I hardly wear jewelry in them anymore. But you are soo right, it is far more common now a-days. My boyfriend is my opposite he doesn't like tattoos or piercings & doesn't have any. I think a persons personality is a better "attention" getter than how they look anyway. :)

  • Its so strange... i planned on getting tattoos when i was in high school, and as time passes by i feel more and more 'unique' and 'edgy' by NOT having any tattoos (especially as a young male living in California)

  • @Tartersauce101 In some circles, I stand out because I don't have the requisite tattoo. Is it still 'edgy' when everyone has them?

  • @proteanview

    my point exactly.

  • I don't need piercings - i have enough holes in my body

Also, natural girls = hot girls.

  • @sisubilly 'I have enough holes in my body'.... Well, there we go. ;)

  • It's all about fitting in and showing that you want to fit in.

  • When I sport a beard its Lawrence Fishburn's beard in the movie Othello. I have three peircings, two hoops and an industrial. No tats as of yet ....why all the edgyness? Well peircings (maybie not flesh rings) certainly don't offer a sense of standing out from the crowd, the point is peacock-feathers; its trying to be noticed by the opposite sex ....but if like me you don't drink ....then there's really no point at all.

  • I don't Give A Shit About The Latest Styles!

  • i have tattoos and a goatee...however i dont have a shaved head or piercings.

  • HEY! You're talking about ME! LOL!

  • Not having weaves (natural hair), big breast, and false eyelashes seem to be "edgy" now days.

  • piercings, tats, weaves, and botox is so dated and unattractive

  • i have none of these but do have a Tatoo, however from a Tribe in Brazil and my Reason for getting the Tatoo was completelly not out of fashion etc. reasons

  • when it comes to weave everybody uses it for a different reason, u can have a normal weave some girls like the dramatic hair some like to keep it simple u can use weave to protect your hair, change up the style go frm curlys to straight with out chemical go frm long to short with out chopping off yo own hair we used weave at my cheerleading competitions to look uniform and we had black, white, and Asians girls weave helped me to go natural by protecting my hair i like changing it up

  • well well well. why am i not surprised you're on here flirting with the white devil? (SIN) "doesn't get any better" how drole! ur still BUHlack! warning to you batim. protean is a KNOWN colored homosexual (in some circles) who preys on the blonde male buttock. protect your whole baby & protean stop craving the white and SEEK CHRIST baby. i'm gonna have to rebuke you. (REBUKED).

ps: nice lips! tee he he (giggles to self) PRAISE GOD!

  • I don't have ANY piercings/tattoos/implants and now it is I who is Avant-Garde and Cutting Edge! I am 100% natural in a world of manufactured plastic ubiquity! Step right up folks and witness the unmarked freak of a man! Full circle folks lol! (and PROUD of it)

  • Well, ask yourself this question, proteanview: Would you date a woman without a weave and/or implants? Most women have get all that stuff to be more attractive to men.

  • i thought only teens cared about such things.

  • You look good.

I can't say about guys, 'cause I just don't notice. Be I grew up in the 80's. The girls had this ridiculous hair style where they would straighten their hair and make it big with spray, make a little poof in the front. It was fucking stupid, but all the "in" girls had to do it ( or not be "in"). Looking back now ...

I find unnatural women to be unattractive. Women are made by nature to be beautiful. Don't fuck with it. Small breasts are so much better than implants.

  • well l feel l should comment as l fell victim to the looks thing, from a small child on l heard from my foster family and people around me that l was ugly too skinny my nose too big you name it l was called it,so l did try to change my looks as a young girl but found no matter what l did l still looked in the mirror and say that ugly kid.

So now l am older wiser and working on fixing the inside l found l am really much more comfortable just being me :)

  • For real. People expect me to be Cola Bling all the time and are shocked when they see me outside of work. I can't wait for our television channels in England to become more professional so we can promote the journey of going back to looking HUMAN.

  • HAHAHAHA!!! Bravo. It's funny how people who claim to be strong individuals all have shaved heads, piercing+tats and they're looking cornier every day!

  • I am a young black female who wear weaves braids, perms etc... but too me its not about looking FAKE.. most people get weaves 2 either grow their hair or keep from destroying it with heat..i think people take real n fake too far sometimes.. r minds r different as human beings and watever way u express urself then do it. i also wear afros and natural hairstyles too.. i must say the weaves have grew my 5 full inches in 6 months str8.anyway peoole shouldnt waste time on other peoples expresstions.

  • I like the edgy look but you have a better look than that called HOT.

  • If i get a tatoo I couldn't give blood for a year, and that would be selfish.

  • I have none of those, but I am badass... I never needed that crap.

  • Fuck Niggers, watch my video

    /watch?v=M3QuG98PWDw

  • @Moooners40 Quiet, bitch.

  • I think its a personal preference, and some people that don't have have tattoos because they are afraid of pain. Tattoos have been drawn on the skin for centuries. Anyway no you do not look country your a handsome young man and should not concern yourself with what seems to be the norm in big cities. Tattoos are sexy in my opinion but so are you in my opinion so be who you are and forget the rest

  • no i like the preppy look, natural but clean and tidy.

i wish black women would just keep it real too with their hair and all. but women can do anything i guess, as long as it looks glam and suits them.

  • @pichpuch66 I am sure you are an extremely non boring person in real life...

  • @beta331 haha what makes you think that? I'm actually really, really, REAAAAAALLY boring!

  • Well...

Maybe some weave will do you some good. And a necklace. And some fish-net stockings.

  • Tattoos are simply too permanent for me.

As a person with 41 years of life experience, my concern with tattoos are that I don't know how I could ever be certain something I had permanently inked into me would always hold truth for me.

My beliefs, interests, style and tastes have evolved as I have aged, studied, traveled, and gain life experience. I am wise enough to know that they will continue to change.

Well, I could use a tattoo of my cell number. I can never remember that darn thing!

  • people are sheep. That's the only reason they get this stuff. They are like a colective character, they all have the same voice and speak the same words.

  • As a person who does have tattoos and piercings , i think it has become too mainstream. I didn't get the piercings and tattoos to blend in or to stand out. Now sometimes I wish I hadn't taken the step to get them cuz I see all these prepackaged cookie cuter kids getting tattoos and piercings because that's what's hot in the street. As far as weave, there is nothin cute about someone else's hair on your head, ever! hello.. what is wrong with America?

  • well i'm 21 and i've never had a tattoo or piercing ever in my life...not even my ears...so i dont see anything wrong w/ it...wut ever suits you

  • Thank u so much for posting this. Call me plain, but I think God made me like this for a reason. I don't have anything added to me, not even a perm. And please don't change a thing on yourself, I think your gorgeous as is. Blesings, Marsha

  • well i just getting into the wig thing cuz my hair is straight and i like curly hair and it is too much work to set my hair so it is easy to use a wig and wow i am ready.

  • Could this be the first step in racial unification?

I'm 42 and had gotten my ear peirced and a tattoo when I was 16, and have shaved my head since I joined the army at 17. I believe someday I'll get the credit for bringing together the people of our country.

  • There is no better way of self expression than letting SOMEONE ELSE draw on you with permanent ink.

  • AAAAhaha!

  • I don't judge anyone if they want to have implants, tattoes or whatever makes them HAPPY. ~Some need them ~ What bothers me is that ppl "assume" most people are "fake". Everyone thinks I had breast implants, when in reality I had a reduction and a lift (yeah! they were bigger), they ask me if I have "hair extensions", again, No, I have a lot of hair, & ultimately "are those your real teeth?" I had braces but they are my real teeth. White cuz I take care of them. I brush after EVERY meal :D

  • Protean you don't need any of that stuff. I think the fact that you present yourself just as you are makes you much more approachable and inviting in your videos. Keep up the great work!

  • most people, if not everyone, dress within the guidelines of a particular group, whether it be divided by income, class, taste in art, lifestyle, etc. i don't think its dangerous to have a look consistent with a large group as long as you retain your own thought process and decision making.

  • damn u talk fast as fuck lol

  • i was talking to a co-worker a while ago and she thought it was crazy that me being a black male didnt have any tattoos, i like some of em but every seems to have tattoos these days.

  • You are not from this planet.

Woman wear all that stuff because they want to attract your attention. I'm a pretty lady over 50 who was ill for a little while my over shoulder length hair break off so I had to cut off ~ to have confidence I brought a couple of peony tails to add to my hair all the men set up and took notice. Why because men like hair on women. White men don't care if their women have it all fixed if it looks good OK. I keep saying White men because you need to understand.

  • I hate the people try to get other people to look like them! and i agree with you with overthe top weaves, its ok to wear them, yea but not over the top...Be yourself! no you souldnt get any of that Be who you are. i love a plain guy, i dont want a edgy i want a man who is tru to himself! Dont do that mess!

  • Well I am a black woman that doesn't wear weave. I have long hair that isn't bone straight and many black woman would ask me why don't I get a perm or why don't I put on a weave and I just tell them that I like my hair the way it is. Now days it just seems that it is rare to find people who actually like the way they look and would feel naked without their weaves makeup and fake eyelashes. It has almost become to a point where looking fake is more attractive than being yourself.

  • Slylady81

*It has almost become to a point where looking fake is more attractive than being yourself.*

That's what I don't understand. Women w/ plenty of hair getting weaves so they can look fake. These aren't the weaves of the 90s - a little extra, they're full-on Wendy Williams, Tyra Banks, Paris Hilton hats.

  • @Slylady81 I love black peoples hair.

  • @Slylady81 I hate it when people try to tell me what to do with my hair.

  • @Slylady81 ..hi black man...

  • IT IS NOT YOUR BUSINESS DEAR.

  • I find implants disgusting. There is nothing I hate more than the idea that my girlfriend would come home one day with fake boobs, wave em in my face and act like she did me some huge favour. Man she'd be pissed when I told her to pop those suckers right back out!

But seriously, they look ackward, feel unnatural, and (the worst part) they don't move the way boobs should move. And while I'm all for nice boobs, certainly not at the cost of your dignity.

  • @raythetse The cost of your dignity and your health. So many cases where the procedure has gone wrong. Just not worth it!

  • GET IMPLANTS!!

  • i don't have any of those and i live in a big city.

  • i think people should just be.......whatever makes them happy .a lot of people dont like the way they look and feel they need a little pep up, but in actuality me as being a natural person who dont even wear lipstick or make up, think that people are just as beautiful without all the extras as they are with them...beauty cant be faked...i think that everyone is beautiful in their own way. peace and love to all

  • wonderweave-woman; "WEAVE ON!" *3W saves the day*

    heheh

in my oppinion people should just do whatever they like about their look

  • noooo be who god created you tgo be, thats the problem with our culture most people are followers to trends and we dont have alot of leaders , its like if the hip hop artist say its kool people, especially african americans follow it, and its really sad and ignorant to me

  • you cant take your weave off...

  • I think you're H.O.T! I don't have a weave, fake nails, not even a perm. And my fiance loves me just the way I am. God made me, these lines on my forehead? He put them here. Thank u for preserving the Holy temple God gave U :-)

  • i have to admit.......that i like black men with frohawks

  • Dont let anyone stereotype you. Just because your a black man doesnt mean your supposed to have tattoos and look like Tyson Beckford who's old news anyway. Your individuality is your strength. They said the same thing to Arnold Schwartznegger and look at him now. NEVER CHANGE 4 NO1

  • i foundthat its better to stick to what u feel like looking like and when the new fashion comes around laugh at the people who change with it

  • I hate the weaves. I don't wear them.

  • Implants, definitely the implants.

  • people are trying to be individuals yet express themselves in very similar ways, i agree.

i'm a plain dude because i dont want to be old with tattoos.

whats sad is when famous people get their faces deformed by plastic surgery and have the gall to smile at a camera afterwards.

'we know youre old lady! you have a smooth face yet a turkey neck!' lol

  • aw proteanview, don't ya know that the new thing is tongue splitting.

  • Chrisnoscrub

    I can't keep up.

    I'm getting old.

  • It always surprises me when people say I am an individual ....yet they all look alike ....that stuff started in the 60's when the so-callled hippies were the pre-eminent "individuals" ....yeah right!!....you cracked me up with the Repunsul(I know I spelled that wrong ) hair styles that was really funny and accurate !....:-)

  • If your going to put a picture on a valuable canvas (i.e. your skin) it had better be something special. Nothing generic, please.

  • To answer your questions: No, i don't have any of those things.

For one, my facial hair is patchy and scraggly, and very ugly.

Next, Tattoos give the police "Positive Identification". Not that I plan on breaking the law, I would just rather not give them that advantage.

I look the way I look, and if someone else disagrees with it, they can just shove it. I don't tell them how to dress or how to look!

People get too caught up in looks anways, no substance anymore.

  • No man you look fine as you are now.

    no homo :P

  • you are funn and real!!! im a black woman and i have recently decided to go natural with my hair. i have never had a weave before because i honestly think they mess up a woman's hair. i think nowadays that not having a weave and being black is kinda rare. i can understand if its braids but tracks??? if you already ahve beautiful hair why put tracks in? and if your hair IS unhealthy, just nurse it back to health dont destroy it more with tracks.

  • maybe gold fronts???? man you would look so hard!!!

  • i think people hould be people no matter what the curent trend is. if you a guy like me who likes spikes leather and eyeliner more power to you. if you like holister whatever thats your choice

my only problem with certin trends it that people dont like other people who dont dress like them. that i think is the big question here. why is that? why are we hating other people for expresing what they feel in their style?

you should make a video for that id like to hear your views. pleeeeease

  • yeah!definately you should make a video like that! (im responding to what 'PatTheSmoker' said) and it's true, i think you should make a video on that really:D about people who dont accept other people who dont dress like them

  • I kind of enjoy some of the hair jewelry, but don't wear any. And definitely am against fake implants, eyelashes, etc. It's not attractive to wear a lot of get up every time you leave the house. And for those who enjoy it, what fun is it if you do it all the time? I don't wear make up, so am a little more opinionated than some. It takes too long to 'look pretty' when all you could do is leave it all off, and you'd stand out from the crowd. Natural is best, to me. :)

  • personally i have my ears pierced, but yeah, im not sure why really, but i love little hoop earrings, theyre comfortable. other than that i look pretty normal. you look normal to me too. and as a personal preference i kind of think women who dont over do their accessories look extra lovely for their self confidence. i like girls to look real, now its hard to find people who arnt all plastic and false. and i think you should go with some hot pink weave! ;)

  • I think that there are alot more important things for people to think about than who has a fucking tattoo or fake tits.

  • Then go think about them and leave us alone.

  • you do what ever the hell you want as long as your not hurting anyone.

  • i stick with the simple 90's "style" if you wanna call it that, but its more a lack of style. long hair, flannel, jeans, and whatever the fuck shoes i find on the floor when i wake up. its either my converse or some shoe that i have no idea what they're called.

  • in my opinion, i dont think you will look plain without fake breast, or weaves etc.., but at the same time for me its my way of expressing myself, through hair and tattoos. i can say we do over it sometimes, but to us it looks nice and different. i only speak for me, i am and will always be a fan of hair and body art, i know who i am, and i dare to be different... no fake breast though all natural

  • How is having someone else fuck with your hair or dye your skin to make drawings in any way expressive on your end? The ones doing the expressing are the people with the brush, not the human canvases.

  • no im expressing myself, cuz im the one designing whats being done... but see where your comin from.. and i do my own hair...

  • no. Stay the way you are. You look good the way you are.

  • I read edgey, in your case, as black (not my thinking, but your recruiters?) Weave, implants, augementations...enough already. Let's all stick with what nature left us with.....unless of course you're ugly - then, by all means get something done, please !

  • Implants? Depends if they are hair or silicon! Whatever!

  • I think tats and piercings are attempts for a person to seperate themselves from the herd, and try to non-conform.

Because most people want to be different and these activies are avenues to be different then it ends up that most people have piercings and tattoos.

I think you have managed to be known as an individual and haven't had the need to resort to these activities to feel special.

Btw I have a few piercings, but I just do it to intimidate others enough to leave me alone.... Introvert.

  • when the "non-conforms" become 4,5 or 6 out of 10 isn't it conformity ?

Also would one be "cool" or " intimidating" if they were covered in "clear ink" tattoos ?

  • why do people love being the "canvas" for the "artist" so much ???? ponder amongst

    ( tattoos)

  • Do You Boo! Natural or Not. I only oppose people doing things to themselves in order to "fit in".

  • Sounds like you're talkin about 97% of the sheep !

  • LOL!

  • if a person was covered with head to toe "CLEAR INK" tattoos would they be cool ??? ponder

  • Educate me because I am not sure what clear ink tattoos are...is it the same as UV tattoos? Well, I have travelled the world and the nation (U.S.) & have met people from many walks of life. I am slow to characterize a person esp. based upon appearance. A person is cool to me when they- in exercising their basic human right to be their sovereign, autonomous self- do not do anything that will hurt themselves or others. It can be tattoos, hairstyles, lifestyles, etc. I think it is all cool.

  • I'm not world traveled therefore i'm not capable of educating and know nothing.

  • It was a "joke" on tattoos... if they were done in "clear" ink all it meant was they would NOT be visible...to the eye...however...

they would still be there ! Generally... "tattoos" are viewed as "cool" all im sayin is... would you still be cool if they were NOT visible ? ha ha...he he

  • Very funny. I'm not a fan of tattoos, but I don't think they'd be near as cool if you couldn't see them... but then you'd still get the enjoyment of being poked with all those little needles.... :)

  • I don´t have tatoos and don´t plan to get

some, in youth I had some earrings and later

a piercing just for testing it out, and

never had a girl that wears weaves...,

no wait once I knew a goth girl which did

    had long black/silver weaves...

but basically I realize now I have to be totally outdated and should go to the recycling/scrapyard lol

  • I think that we should look more natural, after all these things are just superficial. Instead of loving people, nowadays most just love the person's look. Unfortunately we seem to be getting shallower as a species.

  • Never had a tatt, goatee, peircing, I cip my hair pretty short, but not clean shaved. Yeah, I dont find people who are into that to be edgy at all, its quite boring, and it certainly does not suggest to me that they are original or unique or independant thinkers, and I dont think it looks good either. In fact that look on a man makes me think he`s insecure about his individuality and needs attention and approval, and these are qualities that say weakness to me. With women, implants are absured.

  • If everyone wants to be totally natural, then don't shave, don't cut your hair, don't bathe or wear skin moisturizing products.. it's not "natural" either. The point is there are just different levels of what people change about themselves to be presentable. Would you want your girl to go to prom looking the same as how she looks when she wakes up? Well, it's inappropriate for the occasion. Most women who look really good look great WITH makeup and also WITHOUT... like angelina jolie.

  • do you feel you need to look different? Why?

    We will answer this.

No. We do what we want to our selfs to look attractive to the people we are attracted to... its that simple.

  • I don't see the point of changing your appearance, like getting your hair dyed, your body pierced, hair "differently" styled, putting on makeup, etc. I prefer girls that are more natural, who don't really try (much) to look good.

I don't try to look different or crazy. If someone wants to know what I'm like, they have to talk to me. (I'm a guy, by the way.)

  • im more attracted to women with natural hair but looks aside, to me it show a level of inteligant, women with natural hair TEND TO BE more deeper!

  • All those edgy peeps. Aren't they conforming to the "nonconformist" look? Tell your sis to stay original but you should get implants. Just kiddin! Society creates lame formats and most peeps being the perfectly conditioned consumer love to fill those formats even if they are ridiculous. Don't get me wrong. Some peeps love the art of tattoos, etc.. Anyway.. Kepp it real ;o) Be Peace

  • Common Protean, we just KNOW you have had breast implants! jk of course!

  • I honestly think that all of this is overrated. I live in L.A so all of these things are commonplace, but I am just content with being myself. I'm surprised to hear that anyone would think that someone without these things look "dated." I guess the reason is that I don't see many people on T.V with lots of enhancements. Yes they are on t.v but for the most part ppl in commericals look pretty clean cut. I think that is most appealing to people. I guess it depends on where you live in the U.S.

  • I'm a woman who has none of those things. I'm not mad at anybody for having them, but I do feel that it's (mostly) a show of insecurity (especially implants). People these days seem like they're never happy with themselves; nothing is ever enough. The fake tan, make up, hair color, lashes, etc. - the thing about that stuff is that it's not real. Myself, I prefer real beauty. I don't wear make up because I think nice skin is truly beautiful. I have all my God-given parts and I'm good.

  • People should look whatever way makes them comfortable. For some that's enhancements to their natural beauty and for others, it's just natural. I don't like all of the weave hating ( you didn't do that, just saying) because women weave for different reasons. To me, that's just like clothing, it's styling and preference. To each their own. Weaves aren't for me, but I have a tat. It's 20 years old so not part of a trend. Society shouldn't dictate, but personal choice should and that's fine.

  • DO YOU!

  • I shave my head, but then the little that's left doesn't give too many options: but I have no tats nor weaves.

I guess it's all about conforming to appearance rather than substance; the superficial rather than the content; and recognition of the same to identify the other.

Besides, fashion sells, makes some very rich, and undermines our selves as we follow the stars who show us how we should look: once uniformed and unified, all traits (media created)follow and are readily adopted.

  • I shaved my head and dyed my hair blond and I had some interesting experiences, I would recommend doing something crazy at least once, and although I have the urge to do something crazy again, I prefer to remain low key as I feel it there is something attractive about being humble and would rather that my natural beauty speak for itself on my behalf, I don't like so much to impress people anymore, and I don't want the attention I used to crave.

  • Christ... what sort of city is that, I have never heard of such widespread shallowness. I on the contrary have been noticing a decrease of such fake things over here, like fake hair, eyelashes etc.

But than again I'm not from the states. I myself have chosen to have the bohemian look, so I don't put much effort on my looks. Which is very comfortable.

  • I keep my hair buzzed close and I do have tattoos and my ears are pierced. I have them because I like them. I think it would be an invasion of a persons being if there were someone saying that one should have these things. I find it a very personal thing and would never say someone should get these things just to fit it. If someone were to do this to fit in then they are a person I don't want to be associated with.

  • I don't like fake breasts or fake anything for that matter. Tattoos on the small of a woman's back is so common its generic and if it says "serenity" in Japanese then it pathetic, but to each his own.

  • you dont need a tat or a goatee you are already a sexy man!

  • This has a lot to do with what society (who is that anyway? oh yeah white people because they're the one's who control everything) has defined as beautiful. For example: Magazines and commercials always show white women with long flowing hair, but never a black woman and if she is black she's 'mixed' or light enough to sell the product. Unsure about tattoos&piercings. Most people regret getting them later in life. I do notice that men who are balding or have bad hairlines just shave it off.

  • GlamourousJ: You got that right ...and you can best believe when my hairline creeps a little too far south, I'm-a-shaving it off.

  • @GlamourousJ TOO funny - blame the white people? I laughed out loud, funny one!

I can't believe you went there. Ridiculous.

  • i just ignore it all to be honest. i keep my hair short and my face shaven. i look clean enough and that's good enough for me.

  • Yes u r totally right , weaves completely look terrible.

  • i dont have those things because i dont wanna look like a moron

  • Don't wear weave, natural breasts, no body "art", piereced ears. TO ME, weave is unnecessary when you can grow your own hair. It's this concept of "good and bad" hair that forces some women to believe that they need it. Now, I will admit that I do wear solar gel on top of my nails as they are weak BUT that is the extent of my "fakeness".

You look fine. You don't need that mess. Your look is you.

  • What does racism have to do with it? This is the problem with people like you, I am not saying I hate black women or people just that most of the women are wearing a wig, so what?!?

  • I would not say you are a racist, just inexperiened. There are a growing number of black women who are actually wearing their own hair. No chemicals, no weaves and they have hair down there backs. You're making a sweeping generalization. I'm one of those women and it won't be long before my hair is past my shoulders. Will I then be considered by you to be wearing a weave?

  • Androsian: I like how you broke that down.

  • your welcome.

  • Andro: I accidentally deleted your comment. Sorry\

  • LOL. what the hell man.But i guess its kewl.

  • I DO !! but not a tatto

  • I wear a weave because I love the style...I am also growing out my hair underneath..my weave is braided in...I do not want to process my hair, so I got weave to allow my hair to relax and grow, so I can wear it natural in year..I am not wearing a weave because I do not have hair. I have a tattoo of an egyptian ankh because I love and admire everything egyptian...personal preference!!!

  • Should I judge u for being gay??? straight??? black??? white??? young??? old??? When u put it like that it sounds ridiculous...I feel the same way towards weaves, tattoos and piercings... yes, it is a choice & the others are not, but it is a PREFERENCE & as long as we are productive, tax paying, citizens isnt it alright to have a preference?? So to all the weave wearing, tattoos having, piercing loving folks out there... I LOVE UR PREFERENCES!!!

  • admiration of EVERYTHING egyptian & for self pride. I can care less what others think of my tattoo. I have a piercing in a VERY PRIVATE area & I got that because I love the way my vagina looks...I can care less what others think of that because NOONE is going to see that unless I choose for them to. So, it all goes back to personal preferences...some people wear weaves because they like them, we should not be judged for that! Some wear tattoos cause they like them...should they be judged??

  • You are a very clean cut looking man. There is nothing wrong with just being yourself. As a society we pay to much attention to what we look like instead of what is important. I fortunately do not live in a big city so can not understand the pressure.

I have the normal look. Just me. If I where you I would start talking about the economy or anything else that is more life important for our future generation. Stay as you are. Peace and Prosperity my friend.

  • All black women with hair over their shoulders are wearing a wig or a weave, they look stupid and they are not fooling anyone

  • Thats not true. All black women with long hair do not have on wigs and weaves. Some of us don't need it.

  • Ok most of them do then

  • jee Dorky dick....kinda like saying all 'white' women have natural blond hair and blue eyes. How stupid and racist one can get.

newsflash....people from Asia/Middle East/Africa fit into the 'black' category....hence to assume black women cannot have natural long hair shows how ignorant you are.

  • Well, I DO have a tattoo...but only my "speshul freends" know where it is. ;) (Wink wink, nudge nudge, saynomore)

  • I said something like that at the end of one of my videos...

"I am more than my hair, nails or ass."

  • You have a point, it is important to choose a look that is timeless, or easily altered to keep current.

  • thats a good point. but i love my piercings (:

  • And I love mine!!! Lol!! And I bet your piercings look timeless.

  • jazznjava: I bet you're wearing the hell out of it. Where is it?

  • lol, keep it real pro-T, how about you get tribals on your biceps, if you plan on joining a tribe soon that is

you could join the tribe of people in their thirties who feel like idiots because they got " cool " tattoos or piercings

  • Shiek: You're a riot. You know you have the requisite lower back tattoo. Come on, now!

  • I consider some of those things to be crimes against nature. I love being real and human. No makeup, no hair product, no piercings...and I think I look pretty cute most of the time. ;) I like that you look like a normal healthy person. Don't change yourself! Keep it real.

  • RVqueen: I expected nothing less from you. ;)

  • My interest peaked at the mention of 'breasts'. I'm not that difficult to please. ;) Otherwise amusing.

  • Col: *falls over*

  • Ah, hell. I'm kidding. It's ackshully a cheesecake pose of Harley Quinn (Paul Dini's original) on my right shoulder blade. To be frank, I hadn't really appreciated extended pain as a pleasurable experience. Especially when she hit bone, it vibrated throughout. Verrry interesting.

  • Women are sex objects. They need implants.

  • i think you look good just the way you are:) and people should only change the way they look if they truly dont like they way they look, and this opinion cannot be based on what others say.

  • I think your funny for one, and a breathe of fresh air. I cut my hair last year, and now I have a natural afro. I do have a small tattoo nobody can see, but it never made me stand out to the point I don't look human. To me, looking plain is the new outragious.

  • i think its more of a 'im n my 20's' type thing

  • whats the link with gta4?

  • i think you should rollerblade naked and stick firecrackers up your ass to propel you. that would be edgy.

  • Nah dude we don't need anymore Howie Mandels.

  • i THINK YOU SHOULD DO WHAT EVERY COMFORTABLE TO YOU. I HAVE A NOSE RING AND A TATT!! aND I LOVE THAT i HAVE THEM BOTH. THAT ME:) I DONT THINK PEOPLE THAT DON'T HAVE THESE THINGS ARE BORING OR JUST PLAIN.

  • It's in human natur to be attracted to people of the oposit sex that stands out.

  • I don't think you should change a thing. I don't follow crowds. I always do me. I do have a little hair weave to fit in to my industry but it's not enough to tell. I wouldn't do any type of plastic surgery or tatoos. I don't want to spend a lot of money investing in something permanent that I might regret later.

  • I do have 2 tattoos and some piercings..only in my ears and nose ( which i seldomly wear)

I don't think they are so much "common" as they are basically a culture within a culture.

There are several professional people in that culture. You'd be surprised at how many men who basically have your prototype actually have a full sleeve or two when they come home from the office and take off that suit. I don't know what it is but it's interesting to me. :-)

  • fads evolve-- who cares

  • jelly: ...apparently you do. ;-)

Thanks for 'caring' enough to weigh in.

  • I personally think that people with tattoos, shaved heads, ect, are either uncomfortable with themselves or they're trying to express who they think they are.

  • I have this deep brow formation when I frown/smile(hereditary) and when I was 24 a female coworker suggested that I get botox to 'fix that'. All this altering of natural features/characteristics is a huge mistake.
