  • It's okay, this book wasn't meant for adults in the first place. Adult minds generally are incapable of grasping the situations and the fiction of books like these. See, to me, these books have evolved from books. They have become, for me, something entirely different. I have cried in every book and movie, which is a rare occurrence. These books are spectacular, and I care not for "Plot Holes" and grammar mistakes of the books...The story entrances me and is, to me, the ultimate in everything.

  • @performingmonkey1 ...and we agree. Harry Potter played a huge role in our lives as children, and it followed us into our late teens (as we were in this video.) That's why we felt so gipped by book 7. Storywise, it didn't live up to the rest of the series.

  • I loved this book, but I have to admit, Lupin versus Greybeard would have been legendary.

  • @EgWyps lol, Greybeard...

  • @Kachukeland LoL, sorry Greyback

  • @EgWyps don't worry, I totally knew what you meant ;)

  • When i heard that hedwig died i didnt need to hear anymore. I will read it myself. But right now im on the 3rd book

  • Im a huge fan of the book i honestly think it could be better, but i still loved it in the end. I do agree with some of the opinions but then so what? in the end youll find yourself finishing the book and somehow think back at all the previous books on HP youve read so far. Ive read my first HP book when i was 11 it made me want to read more and inspired me to write. Think what you must i dont hate people for that, instead let the hp series be a lasting memory for people around the world.

  • I remember reading the last book in a day or so, and being thoroughly let down throughout reading it. Enough time had passed when the last movie came out that I decided I'd read it again. Surely I was just disappointed it ended, and it couldn't have been as bad as I originally thought. Well, the second read through was again terrible. Just a horrible way to end a great series. Splitting a book where 400 pages were spent aimlessly camping is quite possibly the biggest money grab by Hollywood ever

  • Brilliant job of summing up how terrible this book was, to end a series that meant the world to me as a child growing up. Harry Potter got me into reading for fun at around 10, where I then raced through the first 4 books that were out at the time, then read them over and over. Sadly, the series went downhill from there, and ended on such a horrible low point that was truly disappointing for what was such a large part of my childhood.

  • So who are these guys? What makes them certified as book critics?

  • @hugonvalencia lol, we're Harry Potter fans. We're reviewing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Who said anything about certified book critics?

  • @Kachukeland The reason I ask is because there are some strong negative comments about it. Is it a joke or something? I mean, normally, someone who reviews something is very proficient in that field.

  • @hugonvalencia Like i said, we're just Harry Potter fans who were disappointed by the final installment. We have made no further claims. We voice some strong opinions in this video, so it's not surprising that people voice strong opinions in the comments.

  • yes there were many deaths in this book. YOU KNOW FOR KIDS!!!

  • hp fanboys can't handle the truth

  • By the way, do you think that all the characters can be main characters?

  • Yeah, fuck you. This is an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING book! The BEST book I've EVER read! In my LIFE! I think you may be some of the only people on the face of this earth not to like (Or love, like most people) this book.

  • LOL Is this a joke? Most of the things you hated are the things millions of us loved. LOL True literary critics you guys. :-)

  • I wouldn't say in every single book Ron turned his back on harry and hermione. Books 4, 7 and kinda 5 are all i can think of

  • It was a great book. Sure there were a few cons about it, but overall it was really good.

  • "buckbeak flys in teh scratch a giant" lol

  • Thank you God! Finally someone else I talk to does not like Ron! He is awful!

  • What I don't get is why Rowling keeps on insisting on redeeming Ron. Anyone here feel that Ron's *relationship*( which IMO in real life is sure to lead to divorce) with Hermione is given more more time than the hero's *snorts* romance with the least significant female character in the books ? One more thing, 2 hormonal teenagers who are supposed to be best friends in the midst of war , left alone, in a camping trip for months don't manage to have a significant conversation with each other?

  • What I don't get is why Rowling keeps on insisting on redeeming Ron. Anyone here feel that Ron's *relationship*( which IMO in real life is sure to lead to divorce) with Hermione is given more more screen time than the hero's *snorts* romance with the least significant female character in the books ?

  • Yeah there should have been alot more of Snape. Ron and Hermoine should have got together in like the 5th book and if she was going to wait this long she should have created an actually story between them like Harry and Hermonie almost doing something. Plus I HATED Ginny and Harry together she was just lazy for writing that. Last Voldemort's death was so simple it hurt really the most powerful wizard ever died from coincidence A FLUKE!!!! IT MADE THE BOOK A JOKE AND Harry Potter an even bigger 1

  • And snape was fucking a good guy, thats the last thing that snape would have wanted

  • And obviously fred died from stone and brick falling on him

  • And dumbledoor is a massive part of the series. He has a massive part in the book. Im glad to hear about dumbledoors past

  • Best part if the book? And slow? Its all part of the adventure

  • Hey guys! I've watched all these videos, and I love them! I was just wondering if you have a link to the portkey.org thread where they break apart all the Harry/Hermione quotes in the seventh book. For some reason, I think I got it from one of you. But if you don't, s'all cool. Keep doin what you do (being awesome!)

  • I agree with the neville part. But the reason why Voldemort didnt kill Snape was cuz Voldemort thought that the wand belonged to Snape and he thought the wand wouldnt kill Snape.

  • Harry forgives Ron because he's his best friend and had just saved his life, AND wanted to come back as soon as he left. Molly killed Bellatrix because she was protecting her daughter. Love for a daughter is more valuable than a need for revenge. And Snape never intended to hurt Professor McGonagall, so he left.

  • @ReneGM95 well, Molly wouldn't have needed to protect her daughter if JK Rowling hadn't written it that way. You see, we're complaining about what Rowling wrote. We didn't like that Molly killed Beletrix when the rest of the books seem to lead us to "Neville vs Beletrix"

  • Hedwig died because it was to symbolize the end of Harry's childhood...something tells me that sending her off to Molly wouldn't really serve the same purpose.

  • I do agree that she should have done some action scenes between enemies.

    Lupin vs. Greyback

    Neville vs. Bellatrix

    But I wasn't too upset.

Also Snape vs. McGonagall wasn't supposed to be epic.

Snape ran away because he didn't want to hurt anyone, after all he was a good guy. Did you already forget?

  • The book didn't suck... it just wasn't up to your expectations.

The Basilisk fang didn't kill Harry. If it Killed Harry, the horcrux would have died.

Btw why don't you like slow pacing? Are you one of those people that only like action, action, action, action.

She Killed people also because she was trying to make it realistic. In a war, people die. If no one died, it would be another fucking cliche story where everyone lives.

  • @soadpwnsyou did u even listen? "one death or two can get you, but I started to really not care."

  • @scorpin969

Yeah but it is still more realistic. Movies/books usually do bullshit where one major character dies. In war, many people die. That was the point of the deaths, they weren't as meaningful but they still died. If there was a war and only one major character died it would have been dumb and really cliche.

  • @soadpwnsyou a balance can always be made. i doesn't have 2 be a ton of people. also, most of whom who had died were skilled fighters, it makes no sense.

  • Guys, great review!!

I agree with you on many parts, but at the same time I have to disagree you with many parts. I liked your points about the D-Bag, Some of the chapter names, Voldemort's death sentence, about the great first few chapters and the terrible camping sequence.

  • I cant begin to describe how much I disagree with you.

  • The cover art was when the Elder Wand was blasted out of Voldemort's hand and was hit by Avada Kedavra, so his arms were in the air when he was falling. Harry was reaching out to catch the Elder Wand, so his arm was in the air.

  • As for the Wedding chapter, we have a word for that. Its called SET UP.

  • @nietro98 thats 2 words

  • Of course Harry forgave Ron instantly. He was ready for Ron to come back, he did just save Harry from the brink of death ya know.

  • yes he did, but he also left them for dead like Kaku said

  • Molly was ready to forgive Percy since the fith book and everyone was waiting for Percy to come through, he just needed time.

  • perfect review, I freaking hated the last book

  • Yes Mcgonnagal's battle was short, Snape wasn't going to set there and fight his friend, of course in the end Snape is a good character, but McGonnagal isn't told that so she fights him. Snape does wan't to kill someone innocent like mcgonnagal

  • Molly killed Bellatrix because she tried to kill Ginny and even taunted Molly about Fred's death, also to show that motherly love conquers obsessive love. He did forgive Ron quite quickly, but he just saved his life. Percy was her son....parents tend to forgive their children. The battle happened at Hogwarts because he was at Hogwarts destroying the Horchruxes, also Voldemort tries to come back to taunt the students thinking Harry was dead.

  • Hedwig died to show his loss of innocence as he came of age. It was slow at parts, especially the camping, that is a fair point. The reason so many people had to die is to set the gravity of the situation. Snape could also fly, not just Voldemort, flying isn't exactly a huge achievement for one of the greatest wizards of all time. Moody didn't stand a chance because his partner bailed on him, so he was killed easier than most people. Running out of characters making new comment.

  • If you read this, this, the beginning about flying, isn't a huge feat for a wizard, when Lily(Harry's mom) is a young child she flies of the swing. The owl was killed to symbolize him losing his innocence as he comes of age. I do agree the pacing is slow at times, especially the camping section. This is the Deathly Hallows, a lot of deaths really had to happen to capture the whole severity of the situation. Continuing to point out my counter arguments in my next comment, im out of letters.

  • @TheRavenswood10 This is a review of the book.

  • @Kachukeland Yes, those points are about the book.

  • @TheRavenswood10 well, a lot of the things you said contained details from the movie, which were different from the book. I was just calling you out. ;)

  • @Kachukeland Like what? I do notice after I posted that as a young child Lily doesn't fly, she cusions her jump.

  • To be fair to JK Rowling it's a bit pointless asking why he can fly and no other wizard can. Voldemort is suppose to the almighty powerful dark wizard. Not really worthy of an explaination how he learned to do this trick.

  • @erzan if you're happy with it, that's fine. The characters in the book, however, SHOULD wonder how Voldemort can fly. They express confusion, and shock, but they don't go passed that.

  • @Kachukeland exactly! did the characters just suddenly lose their inquisitive nature?

i was really curious why he could fly but no explanation...

  • @Kachukeland How many other writers gloss over little details like that? Dumbledore himself stated that Voldemort has pushed the boundaries of magic farther than they have ever been pushed.

  • @erzan The whole "almighty powerful wizard" thing is horribliy inconsistant within the book, however. Again, how Voldemort can aim an Avada Kedavra directly at harry and have him survive AGAIN is nothing more than plot convenience, and, as the guys in the video so smartly put it in their later video, the deus ex machina of "magic" pretty much being able to do whatever the hell the author wants.

  • @RiptosRage everything you just said sounded ridiculous. I suggest you just be quiet... peace :)

  • I loved this book and I loved the movie, but you do have a point.. I wanted Ron is die so freaking bad!!! I hate him! He should've died instead of Fred. I loved Fred!

  • Just sayin', you might wanna move the links to the other parts a bit higher up, since the video player covers them.

  • @BlackMagnumFilms LOL, thanks for the tip! Stupid youtube...

  • 1. She killed Hedwig to show that Harry is no longer a child anymore. Hedwig was one of the first "characters" Harry was introduced to. He grew up with her and was with her more then anyone else.

    2. She killed Lupin to kill the last of Harry's father figures(James & Serius).

    3. Let's keep in mind that the battle of Hogwarts is in fact a BATTLE. PEOPLE ARE GOING TO DIE. It wouldn't make any sense to just have the enemy die.

  • that is such a forced interpritation. A way to show he's not a child??? Hell whats the point of even proving that

  • Lol Why does that A.S.S.H.O.L.E get to live while others dies!

  • Actually Ron wasn't the douch bag in the series he may have had some bad turns, but who doesn't? nobody is perfect mind you... in my opinion it was Percy Weasly who was the "Weasly Douch" he abandoned his family for the ministry. I think it would have been better if he took the death blow for Fred, Fred could have lived and lost a limb or something. I agree that Fred, Hedwig, and Lupin's deaths were pointless in a way.why couldn't Voldemort sense the horcrux in harry? Or Nagini sense it? O.o

  • Your see harry potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1,2

  • ... 4. (cont) because he is the main villain, what do you fuckin expect! He's gone, after 9 years of books and 10 years of movies!

    5. And don't even mention Snape in bad context. He is the greatest fucking character to ever be created.

  • Your comment was remmoved so 4th im confused

    5) Again..best character? How many books have you read?!?!?!?

Also saying Snape is the best is laughable, hes not even the best in the series for crying out loud...

    Blind fanboy

  • @Imnon00b5 All 7 books, 20/20 vision fan girl, and he is the best character because his commitment to the people he knew was something else, a whole 'nother story. Who did you like? Cho Chang? See ya.

  • Wtf at your comment

  • Comment removed

  • 1. What the hell do you mean that it's all downhill! This is the greatest book ever! If you hate this thing so much, why do you read the series.

    2. Do you expect the whole book to have constant excitement and action? Oh, wait, that's exactly Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

    3. There has to be characters fighting for Hogwarts. Everyone you mentioned in the "Wasted Characters" was a part of Hogwarts. So that was completely stupid.

    4. Voldemort's death "was thrown into such a long sentence" ..

  • ...blind fanboy

    1) He just said he loves the harry potter series he read all 6 and expected to like the 7. and really dude...greatest book ever...really how old are you 10?

    2) Oh right I remember the whole book had action... ya they battled salmon and hunger for 8 chapters...yay

    3) I dont know what you mean by that comment so nvm

    4) Voldemorts death dragged but was too sudden. Your reading one second and he's dead already

  • You guys suck ass

  • @Kachukeland

love the review and screw the asshole 98 whatever your reviews are great i want tosee your movie comments

  • Comment removed

  • The main reason Ron was such a jerk was because he was wearing the locket.

  • @121jakethesnake Was he wearing the locket in books 3-6?

  • Movie review anytime soon?

They did some smart changes, but the book purist are going ape shit even if the changes were trying to repair some plot holes.

  • Do you guys have a review up of the HP7 Part 2 movie? I CAN'T believe so many of my respected film critics are fawning all over this movie? Help me see that I'm not crazy! It was as bad at the book. YIKES!

  • I think that the placement of the discussion of Dumbledore's past is appropriate. It's arguable, however I feel that Harry has such strong feelings at the end of book 6 because of Dumbledore's death that having the info about his past prior to his death would be misplaced. Personally, while reading all the books, I never once considered his past and I feel that having it being discussed in the 7th one made me think as well as Harry's character and made him question someone he thought he knew.

  • When I watch this I realise how many plot holes there are.. but anyone who has an open mind can easily ignore them. Its the best of the seven books by a mile and is truly epic. Can't wait to see the movie!

  • I'd hate 2 say it but moody wasn't portrayed as a great fighter. He was crouch Jr's prisoner for 9 months and then, in the end battle of order of the phoenix, he was knocked 2 the floor and his fake eye had popped out. Next time he's in a fight, he is killed off. Now don't get me wrong, I loved mad-eye's character, but I just think that jk failed to show him kicking ass as an auror

  • @thestupid22 well, he is an Auror. That status requires great magical skill. However, you are correct. He's never shown kicking butt in the books.

  • No one wants to hear a full fucking summary of the book. This is one sorry ass excuse for a "review."

  • These guys have too much time on their hands

  • Great review, I can’t wait to see this movie! I’d love to hear your thoughts on “Discover the Gift,” have you seen it? It’s such a moving documentary and is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Anyway, I just SUBSCRIBED, keep up the great work!

  • Death Eaters can fly...?

  • So ugleeeeeeeeeeey!!!

    bored now

  • hee, the movie alrdy released today in cinemas, you had to order the tickets weeks ago, and watch it 2 days earlir than the rest of the world!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I disagree with "..YOU, BITCH," being thrown in for shock value. Bellatrix almost killed Ginny, a perfect justification for Molly's reaction.

  • @eddieyyy3 well, even if you accept the "you BITCH!" line, she still defeated a powerful death eater. That didn't make sense. If a baseball player tries to kill her daughter, is she gonna hit a home run?

  • @Kachukeland See, now you're jumping into another trail. If Neville were to have been the one to take on Bellatrix instead, would you have questioned his skills at beating her as well? If I'm not mistakened, wasn't that your preference? And as for her being able to beat her not making sense...well, looks can be deceiving, and keep in mind that they both ARE witches, neither one is unfamiliar with the capabilities they have I'm sure.

  • @eddieyyy3 Well, from what we know about Molly Weasley, she doesn't have experience in dueling. In fact, as we pointed out, she cried facing a bogart. Bellatrix is a skilled, dangerous, and quite DEADLY duelist. Judging by what we know, Molly doesn't stand a chance against Bellatrix. That's why we were confused and annoyed that Rowling tried to convince us otherwise.

Also, since book 5, Neville was becoming a skilled wizard. Bellatrix should have been his capstone.

  • Ok I don't agree with this first part. FYI, the cover art is Harry catching voldemorts wand and voldemort is falling back because the killing curse just rebounded. Also Ron only gets pissed at Harry in this book and goblet of fire.

  • Harry excepted Ron non grudgingly because he saved his ass from the frozen pond. You fucking ugly goat!

  • Mrs. Weasly went ape shit on belatrix because she killed Fred

  • @ThorFan4Life the book never says who or what killed Fred. There was an explosion, and they looked over at dead Fred.

  • @Kachukeland

Aaaaactually, molly came to rescure, when a killing curse just so missed Ginny Weasley, and as they were talking, bellatrix "somehow" knew fred was killed, now how she knew that, thats another question. when i was reading the book it felt like, they were pretty high up in tower or something such, spiders trying to climb the walls etcetc. So i cant realy see how she knew fred was dead.

  • @VIBRAXBOY that's just another example of Rowling not thinking things through...

  • @ThorFan4Life when was this established? i thought fred died to the roof caving in?

  • Fuck you

  • @ThorFan4Life a very mature argument you have there sir....

  • Your see a movie on July 15 last movie the Deathly Hallows Part 2 out 3 day

  • Good points.

Hey,what about harry in the chamber of secrets he got hurth by the basilisc's fang which can destroy a horcrux.Right and a part of Voldemort was in Harry so WTF a horcrux cant be repaired i don't understand that's a huge PLOT HOLE.

  • @TheDarkElfKing don't forget though, hermione says that a horcrux relies on what the soul fragment is encased in. the encasing needs to be completly destroyed beyond repair, however since harry was still alive and fawkes saved him, that soul fragment wouldn't be destroyed.

  • @TheDarkElfKing supposedly the Horcrux must be destroyed beyond repair. Since harry did not die thanks to Fawkes healing him, the Horcrux was not destroyed. Plot saved :P

  • @TheDarkElfKing Well he was being killed by the fang and would have died had it not been for Fawks.

  • @TheDarkElfKing phoinex tears can heal anything

  • This part was just about things you wanted in the book but weren't. I hope the next three parts get better.

  • I totally agree!

  • NOT KITTENS!!!

  • @dkaput123 The end battle (if you can even call it that) is the knife in my heart... How could Rowling lead us up for 7 books, and then stab us in the heart like that?

  • I thought that JK Rowling began the series great (books 1-4), but by the 5th book I felt that she was rushing just to get the series finished! Order of the Phoenix was fun,but added nothing new to the series, Half-Blood Prince was extremely boring, and Deathly Hallows was such a disappointment (especially the battle scene at the end). I think that after the first 4 books the pressure got so much that JK was just happy just to finish a Potter book to have a Potter book!

  • personally, i thought that adding and taking out scenes in the movies got them nowhere. such as book 6 where the put in the burning of the burrow and took out the final battle. needless to say, they make me pissed.

  • Just wondering, what are the times in all the other books when Ron turns his back on Harry and Hermione? I see the fourth and I guess the sixth but...

  • Your americans, you don't understand... ;)

  • Fuck you

  • @SilentHill7257 good argument.

  • @Kachukeland everyone has there own opinion dont know y this is a big deal if you did not like the book to some people you are just giving you point of view i do agree the book was slow for most part but other then that good review

  • @MrTLR92 right. SilentHill7257 has a right to his opinion, and so do we. ;)

  • @Kachukeland is 'fuck you' an argument' ?

  • While I disagree that the book sucked (I enjoyed it just as much as the others, and I've read it 5 times :D ), I see what you mean about Voldemort flying; never explained, he can just fly, a bit odd, I guess it just has to come down to him being oh so powerful, but still, a pretty shit reason. On a side note, what do you think of the films? You'll be relieved to know that the end battle between "harry and voledy" (that song is brill btw) has been extended :D

  • @MtWaverlyProductions I was happy to learn that they extended the final battle. That was the BIGGEST disappointment in the book, Harry and Voldey, one spell each.

Oh, btw, the full version of our "Harry and Voldey" song is on my channel. Look it up. :)

  • I know you didnt like deathly hallows but im assuming you saw part 1. What change did you hate most for the movie adaptation...mine would have to be Wormtails "death"

  • @usmcfish94 Wormtail's death was stupid and unexplained in the book, and the movie certainly didn't improve it much, lol

But what bothered me about the movie was the added "sweetness." For example, the way they did the deluminator explanation; they changed the words a bit to make Ron sound like a sweetheart, and added lovely music. And they created an entire scene with Harry and Hermione dancing, just to lighten the mood. Bad choise, especially considering Hermione's relationship fate...

  • the only 3 parts i liked about this book were 1. ministry 2. gringotts (sorta) 3. fight at hogwarts...was really pissed about Lupin though...

  • @usmcfish94

    1. Ministry: walk here, walk there, talk here, talk there, run away...

    2. Gringotts: trick a couple of goblins, get a little burned, ride a dragon (better than Ministry, but still not much.)

    3. Fight at Hogwarts: cameo, cameo, cameo, unexplained deaths, Harry vs Voldey is one spell each.

  • @Kachukeland true true

  • Do both you and Travis feel the same about Ron, or is it just him?

  • @SonofJones I don't really like Ron too well, because if he were real I wouldn't be his friend; therefore, I don't think Harry and Hermoine should be friends with him. Ron is a good guy (as in "protagonist") but he displays selfish qualities, and rarely steps up as a friend. True, though, when he DOES step up as a friend, he saves lives, ect. However, I feel like he should be more of a neutral acquaintance to Harry and Hermione. And Travis is the one with the extreme hatred toward him, LOL!

  • Gosh, I feel sorry for you, because if I didn't like the last book, the whole thing would be ruined, but I, love it, apart from the camping parts, which go on forever.

  • "Sorry, Snape wasn't allowed to be in this book. It would have made the book too enjoyable." Are you FUCKING stupid!? And you claim to have read this book? All your videos consist of gaps and bits of pieces of the book, so I am to believe that you actually read through the entire book? Hardly...

  • @PIRATESOFTHEC3 lol, whatever dude. If YOU read the book, you'd know that Snape hardly showed up at all. And that's especially disappointing because of his role in the 6th book. We REALLY wanted to see Snape in the aftermath of his murder of Dumbledore.

  • @PIRATESOFTHEC3 lol I thought it was obvious that "WASN'T ALLOWED to be in this book" wasn't supposed to be taken literally... it just meant that the Snape character was hardly in it. Come on man, even if you disagree 100% with what's said about the book in the review, it should AT LEAST be obvious that they're not stupid, and certainly that they did their homework...

  • @PIRATESOFTHEC3 Dude, you know that most of the book was the Trio running around Britain. They didn't even interact with the villains until two-thirds in. Boring.....

  • Go figure, two nerdy gay guys reviewing something far beyond their understanding.

  • FIRE!SERPENT!DAGGERS!LAVA!KITTENS! LMFAO XD

  • Can you tell just tell us only somethings you like in the book?

  • What did you guys think of the Deathly Hallows Part 1 film?

  • AND YOU DIDN'T QUOTE " A Snape shape hole in the window" BECAUSE THAT WAS NEVER IN THE BOOK. IT SAYS " A huge bat like shape flying through the darkness towards the perimeter wall" YOU LOSE ALL CREDIBILITY BY BEING WRONG SEVERAL TIMES.

  • @MonkmisterTLB turn to page 600, in the chapter "The Sacking of Severus Snape," and toward the top of the page you'll find this:

"Our headmaster is taking a short break," said professor McGonagall, pointing at the Snape-shaped hole in the window.

  • @Kachukeland In my book its page 482

  • THE CROWD OF PEOPLE GOING INTO HOGWARTS WERE THE CENTAURS YOU MORONS. THEY WERE SHOUTING WAR CRIES. JEEEEEEEEEZ COME ON GUYS GET IT TOGETHER.

  • I'm getting sick of typing out essays to battle what you said. EXPLOSIONS KILL PEOPLE YOU IDIOTS! IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME GO FUCK AROUND WITH SOME TNT! THIS WAS THE GREATEST BOOK OF THE SERIES.

  • @MonkmisterTLB why didnt harry ron hermione and percy die then? in the book it said they were all grouped together.

  • @usmcfish94 I don't know. I assume that a large chunk of the wall that exploded hit Fred and killed him. I wish Percy had died, he was a dick.

  • 2. Harry learns from aunt Muriel a side of Dumbledore he never knew, which leaves readers wondering how good Dumbledore actually was. Also in these 3 chapters, the will of Dumbledore is released to the trio and leaves them wondering that the items are for. The fact that Dumbledore wished to leave them the sword is A HUGE PART OF THE STORY. Had they not known that Dumbledore wished to leave them to sword, they never would have known it was the sword that they would be using to destroy horcruxes.

  • 1.Alot of this is based on opinion. Voldemort was the most accomplished dark wizard of all time so of course he is able to do things other wizards cannot. I will disagree again about the slow paced/boringness you claim the book is. I found this book much more exciting than the other books because there is so much more risk to it. Its not the same old boring shit of them worrying about their homework and exams. On Bill and Fleurs wedding you are wrong once again.

  • I don't agree with everything you said in this review, but it did make me reconsider my opinion of the book. Well done with the review.

  • The camping section was better written than the mind-blurring clusterfuck that was the last six chapters. Boring, yes, but at least the pacing was okay.

  • as a huge harry potter fan, having read all the books and watched all the movies it pains me to see you criticize j.k rowling like that... but i have to admit you guys have good points

  • @MrChibears23 and as huge fans, it pained us to read this book.... :(

  • @Kachukeland i cant wait for the encyclopedia

  • IT'S THE BEST BOOK IN THE SERIES. I LOVE IT. SO I DISLIKED THIS. LOL.

  • @nexttobeloweredd good works sir, you are a Ronald fan. :)

  • For the longest time I actually hated harry potter and because everyone else liked it I decided to be different and not like it. Then I saw the first movie and was intrigued, I loved the idea of a magic school and so I set to the long task of reading the books. Which took forever! God, they just kept getting longer and longer, and so for years I went yo-yo-ing with liking the franchise and hating it. Now I'm sort of in the middle, the last book was so tedious! the camping was sooo boring!

  • Nvm you both look EXTREMELY faggoty and douchey its just the one with black hair is just SO FUCKING UGLY

  • The guy with blond hair looks normal-- the other one IS AN UGLY FUCK!!!!!!!

  • You kind of ruined this book for me...

  • i always wanted neville to kill bellatrix and also lupin vs greyback and draco vs harry

  • the deluminator thing was absurd and idiotic. made up on the spot by rowling

  • @dlitner5 Actually she mapped out her entire series and when Dumbledore's instrument appeared in the first book she knew of all the abilities it possessed. She makes nothing up on the spot.
