How can you block arrows with a sword. I understand that you ACTUALLy can, but the chance of Jian blocking them that skillfully is like phew.

Like, you have to pull the string back really far otherwise it won't do any real damage, and if you do pull it back far it will be going a bit to fast to be able to see it. But, LEGENDARY SUN JIAN!

He could have died of either. But its for certain he died in a combat, not of natural causes. Shamed he died. Sun family are running out of clans at this rate

Historically, every source I've seen ever claims he was shot dead in an ambush or crushed in an enemy trap by either boulders or falling logs.

I think "officially" he's supposed to have been shot, but it's hard to judge eyewitness accounts from over a millennium ago.
