@acdc2454 Those stats are stacked from the pre 1940 years, and the only time the greatest Cub's team (116 wins) met he White Sox (hitless wonders) in 1906 they lost the World Series. The last time they went to a World Series (1945) was when many of the great players were in the service and the league was watered down...and they still couldn't win. They are just lo-o-o-osers

@chicagocubssuck1 Cubs more wins and playoff appeances in my lifetime and all time and more pennants all time the cubs actually have 1829 wins in my lifetime and the sox have 1819 we were better from the 10's to the 40's then you were better from the 50's to the early 80's then the cubs have been better from the mid 80's to now.

@chicagocubssuck1 I will prove you wrong 1 last time cubs= 16 league pennants 16 playoff appearances over 10,000 wins one of only 3 teams to do that .513 winning percentage 10 ws appearances and back to back world series. Sux= 5 ws appearances 9 playoff appearances 6 league pennants not even 9,000 wins .506 winning percentage and never sold out. So if the cubs can't win what can the sox do?

@acdc2454 Well there is evidence and a book written that is available on Amazon about how the Cubs threw the 1918 series to the Red Sox. Recently found testimony giving by Cicotte in the Black Sox scandal noted that was where the White Sox got the idea. Strong evidence in the box scores support the claim. Nothing was pursued because of the WWI situation.
