man, im hoping to get a 250f yamaha next, im either getting a 250f honda, kawa or yamaha, and even though im a Honda guy, im kinda hoping for a yamaha, cuz ive never heard anything bad about yamaha (honda neither when i think about it), and i just love the blue color and they are faster than hondas.

hondas are reliable and great bikes, and they are easy to handle, but they are a bit slow compared to other bikes.

@motoXmurph8 Haha i do ride, i own 3 bikes. Have ridden a few more as well as YZ a KX and a CR. and honestly there's not much difference between the apart from color and the engine charateristics like lots of bottom, middle and top.

@Kawasakiforlife7 Yes, i do know they are different but none of those bikes are shit, they all have pros and cons just depends on rider preference. At home i have a yamaha 125 and a Honda CRM 125, even though the honda is 13kg heavier and is the old style frame i prefer the handling of that bike, could be suspension setup but overall the CRM is more stable than the yamaha. Aswell as the chassis on it is designed for alot more horsepower than the bike actually has.

@motoXmurph8 The tank is not a problem it has 8,5 litres and i manage to get around 120 miles on the road. 1987??? it's a 1991 I do get some mud on it but the tyres i have on can't cope with even 1 inch deep mud! it's like riding in gravel with slick tyres! You could probably compare them to trailwings aka "deathwings"

@bigkazuma hard to say both r about equal, i weight 10 pounds more than u an i ride both em i really cannot say whats better for you. I can climb the same hills out here in wyoming with both bikes they seem to be equal in power imo. two strokes are cheap an easy to fix 80 bucks an u have a new engine " if u do it urself" 4 stroke well it will cost you 3 times that.....but you have all round power when needed...

@bigkazuma i have a yz250f and i am never able to ride it. i bought it used and its a great bike if i could just start it. the high compression piston this guy put in it makes it fast but an extreme pain in the ass to start. none of my friends can even get close to starting this thing. im 16. only the owner could, and a couple 25 year olds at the track. i hopped on my friends yz125, started 2 kick, went riding and fucking loved it. i like 2 strokes better also becuz there more fun to ride. brap

@YFZriderdude15 all the four strokes are really easy to start, as long as everything mechanical is good that is, all i do is kick it over slow and find the beginning of the compression stroke (you will feel the kicker get much harder to kick over) and bring it to the top and give it one hard manly kick and it will fire everytime, i have had many different bikes and all the four strokes have been the same to start, my 04 rm 125 i can start that by hand lol
