Hab auch einen Astra! Sehr zuverlässig, aber die Kurvenlage ist bei mir sehr schlecht, obwohl ich breite Bereifung drauf habe. 90 Ps, topspeed 190 km/h. Also ich fahre gern mit dem Teil, ist angenehm klein, aber geräumig!

(bekomme ich jetzt eine Werbeprämie?)

mai piu' un opel in vita mia ho comprato un astra gtc 1.900 120 cv sport perde i pezzi per strada si e grippata la pompa dell'acqua a 60.000 km poi la pompa dei freni poi i vetri degli specchietti son caduti da soli mentre andavo poi un giorno il cruscotto non si accendeva piu' adesso si e' spaccata l'aspirazione con le valvole swirl (1.200 euro) e chissa' che cazzo succedera' tra poco mortacci mia e quando ho comprato quel bidone di merda mai piu' mai piuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

At first sight this car is looking very good. It looks sportive and elegant. Also has the same kind of design touches on the sides as the Insignia. The interior is pretty much alike the Insignia it seems.

Looks nice in 5door. Bet it looks unbelievably good in 3door. Opel is a top class manufacturer. Totally under rated. German cars have always had style. I cant think of 1 decent looking hatchback from japan on the new car market.

I own a 2007 1.8 petrol astra and it rocks!!! It's not shuttle though, but it is reliable and quite fast activating the sport button.

I'm not generally a fan of Vauxhalls ( Opel ) as in the UK the image is one of massed produced cars which are not as desirable as the equivalent Ford products.

The new Astra has changed my opinion though, it does have Mazda 3 & Renault Megane tones but the proportions and execution shows them how its done. It looks sporty, alert & classy at the same time, which cannot be said about the dated looking current Golf!

The indicators in the front bumper also look the part, great effort!

You're stupid, OPel has great engines if you take care of it it will live long I have to Opel Astra F one 1,4 SW from 94 and one Opel Astra F 1,7 d from '96. With diesel i made 356 000 km and still going and with petrol i made 269 000 km and still going no trouble. I'm in love with Opel, it 's a great car....

I'm an Opel fan and I like this Astra but looking from the side it's not an attractive car! It has that bubble form rear end(if you look at it from the side) which I dislike becase it looks like a station wagon! Maybe the 3 door GTC version will be a better looking version!

The engine is not from VW. Volkswagen does have an awsome 1,4 l engine with 122 PS (turbo) and 160 PS (turbo+SC).

This one though, IS produced by General Motors and is also going to be used in the new Chevrolet Cruze and the upcomming Volt.

It's about time that other car manufactors than VW, get some (hopefully) great small engines.

(The only "small" turbo engine used by Opel right now, is the Insignias 1,6l from the Saab company...)
