  • ..yeah i like u ♥

  • that Zia is a horny little thing...

  • TURN THE FUCKING KEYBOARD DOWN AND THE GUITAR UP

  • @TOMSTAN100

    You're right!

  • @TOMSTAN100 STFU. Soundboard recording--hence why vox and keyboard are loud. Get over it.

  • 240p we meet again

  • @cymagen suck my dick

  • @echobears get over here then

  • <3

  • Does this band have no bassplayer?

  • @lordikkus Zia McCabe is both at bass and keyboard, it depends on the song.

  • love it... thanks for posting xxx

  • The drummer looks like Bob Dylan :P

  • Correction: the redhead girl is hot

  • Th redhead girls is hot

  • I was down the front for this, it wasn't a great performance (they were on really early in the day on the Pyramid stage) and the sound was not on their side.

  • I luv this song my band plays it, but the guitar and vocals are way to quiet and the drums are way too loud. And I'm a drummer!

  • The sound recording makes this awesome song suck.

  • I used to like very much this band when i was still in my (very late and dragging) teenage. Now i watch them and their show-off shallow style really annoys me.

  • The sound technician was definitely still in training ...

  • The guitar sounds like an acustic guitar but anyway is an amazing song!

  • keyboards are cool

  • professionally filmed? at 240p and crappy sound? yeah... right....

  • when was this.. filmed

  • @Ominous09 Glastonbury Festival, I think 2002.

  • haaaa i thought that was nick grimshaw playing the trumpet at first glance, then i realised it was not, nawww

  • THIS SONG? YEAH,MAKES ME FEEL GREATTTTTT!!!! I love the whole world! Greets from republic of Srpskaaaaaaaaa.

  • bad mix.... keys are tooooo loud

  • 0:06 singer for Wolfmother?

  • @misfitsg17 lol he does look like it nigga

  • different by studio version at all -.-

  • Keyboards are fricking awesome!

  • A-Fucking-Mazing!

  • fuck the keyboards ! this is a great old track by by a great band . show me a comparable vid that rocks like this . they're few and far between now in my opinion

  • IT: Mi piace l'idea della tromba.

  • you are fucking good

  • awesome, thanks for posting

  • Drummers hair is cool, just wish he was a better player.

  • andrew stockdale on the drums :D

  • I didn't know that they look so cool!

  • my fuckin gear is broken =( thats it with my great car =(

  • trumpet was a nice touch

  • is there an invisable bassist? i sure can see one, but im pretty aure can hear one.

  • @rhino0909 Keyboard player (zia) plays bass

  • holy shit is that the same girl from the original film clip if it is that is simply incredible the transformation from pudgy cute thing to smokin hot

  • i'd like to be the public

  • class song luv da way it all fits 2getha cept they cud hav turned down da keeyboard a teeny bit

  • @thealfawulf nah mate that synth is at a good volume, nearly every other live performance from other bands is drowed out by bass and the rythem guitarist, and u can barerly ever hear the keys. Love it, great song

  • pas terrible en live comme quoi on peut faire ce que l'on veut en studio

  • pas terrible en live comme quoi on peut faire ce que l'on veut en studio

  • singer needs haircut^^

  • they CAN hitt a bitt harder so they over loud the key-board....

  • The sound engineering/mixing is horrible...! The mix almost ruined the song. =/

  • @dpspac3 - r u so stuck in your own head that u can't see that there are pther genres of music besides the shit u listen to !!! people have different tastes u stupid twat.. fuckin hell u r proper stupid aren't ya ?

  • @gundipsaluja no, I wouldn't say I'm stupid. And the Dandys certainly have talent and all that, you know, its easy when you're really stoned to say something without thinking about it on the computer. However, that being said, I would say that the Dandys commercial ambitions have tainted their music, its soulful appeal. Example: look at a song like "Bohemian." In my opinion, they are making their message quite obvious for money making reasons, whereas BJM imply alot throug imagery and tone.

  • What a Great summer tune and its live - i hope

  • Who plays the horn?

  • not nearly as good live

  • @ATPNitroGuY It is frankly awesome when the keyboard isn't this loud and it's not outdoors. Everybody join in and it's really more rock n' roll than on the album (I saw them just yesterday :D). And I don't know what's up with Courtney on this one but he definitely sang better yesterday c___c Their gigs in Paris are always magical.

  • what a fucking lame song with inconsequential lyrics intended only to reinforce a sense of "identity" in those intended to purchase it. If his band thinks they are any good just because they can get a stadium full of wankers to bounce around to their lame music they are sorely misled.

  • @dpspac3 I see: hardcore BJM fan fighting for his fandom? :D Well maybe you've heard of something brand new and outrageous called respect for people who haven't done anything wrong and just happen to have different musical taste than yours? I like the BJM AND the Dandys and if it makes your head a'splode then serves you right xD

  • @Wizlyy no, not at all. But its like the old Creative Writing maxim: show, don't tell. They just blew their wad: no mystery, no ambiguity, just: its cool to be young, working a shit job, and in a band. Two dimensional, with the intent of selling records, foremost. This band will be forgotten, and in many ways already has, because the lyrical content is just so obvious. They can certainly play, sure. You figure the song out first listen. Just not my cup of tea, but its fine if you like it

  • @dpspac3 what the fuck is BJM?

  • @sanketjariwala

Brian Jonestown Massacre. Go and check out the movie "DiG!", which is why I think one of your comments provoked @Wizlyy to mention them - DiG! details the different ccareer paths of the Dandy Warhols and BJM, and the huge falling-out between the two. It's a fun film, even if BJM come off as resembling a real-life Spinal Tap, fairly or unfairly.

  • The trumpet is awesome. It is so much cleaner than the synthesizer. It's a shame they didn't include it on the studio cut.

  • oh that sounds awful live. Arrgh

  • graet song, great borrowed "Brown Sugar" riff, great use of leyboards.

  • keyboard sounds a bit like cheap crap.

  • Rubbish mix.

  • Love this song <3 :D

  • @xXmarlowXwwfcXx All power chords right?

  • @t1mmy13 Mostly

  • @t1mmy13 Yes, except in the intro there is a part where it goes to ska chrods.

  • keys well too loud

  • More Zia cameraperson.

    I dig Zia McCabe.

  • riviera w/ humbuckers. late 90s would i say

  • Which Epiphone model is this?

  • looks like an epiphone rivera.

  • keyboardz too lOud!

  • I LOATHE THE WAY the people who film vidoes always leave one musician out! Usually its the drummer, in this case, its the bass player> I would be pissed if I were the bass player! He is as much a part of the music as anyone, Give him a few camera shots! I'm a front man and this pisses me off!!!

  • Yeah. Drives me crazy. Or when they're doing a close up on the drummer during the guitar solo

  • not good live

  • Man, the synth is way too loud...

  • ah, just realised it's the pyramid, sorry :)

  • anyone know what stage this is?

  • The first time I heard this sooooo likable song was on," Six Feet Under." Now I'm almost there...

  • the trumpet rocksss

  • i know the notes to . itz easy

  • @MrEbichan : ABSOLUTELY! Such a clean sound . . . it's a shame they didn't put that on the studio version, although it may not have sounded quite the same.

  • some of us got on the Dandy train way too late (hit my radar w/Digg > isn't everyone poppy relative to the great BJM??). Been doin' some homework - seen Dandy's three times of late - SUPERcajafralistic, and to me (i don't care how many people threw it into their media), THIS VID, this poppy song, this look (atypcial?!? bearded CT-T), is still the one to throw in the time capsule. Love the fifth wheel horn and Brent's "calm the restless natives" bambam at the 2:00 mark.

  • fuck off keyboard it ruins the song

  • yea your right it does

  • I agree... whoever mixed it fucked it up.. it needs to be turned down, guitar up... vocals too. They keyboard is twice as loud as anything. This mix is fucking lame

  • @chris23696

    Please leave youtube!

  • @ElianElElias, please get a cock

  • Love the Ted Nugent t-shirt!

  • i swear i heard this song like 10 years ago from a racing game in the playstation (big grey thing)....cant recall what game...dang, first time listening to it after 10 years. Brings back memories

  • @woshistardk if i remember right that would be le mans 24 hours title sequence on the ps1

  • @AuxilliaryAttack it's true, a good song for a good game

  • That girl playing on keyboard/ synth is killing me! Gee!

  • she looks like Keiko the porn star

  • someone get that synth out of my brain. best intro evaaaar

  • did i just see carrot top drumming!!??

  • depends. did you see red hair on the brown haired drummer?

  • ha when they do the ooh ooh ooh part after the choruses he sounds like Tom Keifer from Cinderella

  • This is awesome. When I saw them play it live last year, it was one of my favorite songs of the set.

And Zia is smokin' in this video, too.

  • The Dandys tearing it up at Glastonbury. Love this ! Thanks for posting.

  • Not sure about the trumpet ... it's indespensible on "Godless" but it seems out of place here.

    Nevertheless, killer tune.

  • The keyboard it's a little too much loud!

    Miss an stronger guitar sound.

  • Prefer the studio vocals, but anyways, they ROCK!

  • greta song but i think they are not so great performing live :s

  • keys are too loud

  • I think they do that to compensate the lack of bass guitar...

  • @Mistermookey This is the roller rink version.

  • @Mistermookey No, not at all. I like it that you can actually hear the keys in this mix.

  • @Mistermookey and they're amazing

  • thank you so very much for posting this song....I LOVE IT!!!!

  • Great song! Poland!

  • Great but check out a cover from a band called The PULSE UK

  • must have been amazing live :D

  • yo what kind of guitar does the lead singer have

  • gibson ?

  • Looks like an epiphone sheraton, with a bigsby trem.

  • What year did they release this song? Still fresh today! ;)

  • What kind of bass key is she using?

  • I agree with chipf3 its best to see these bands in an intimate setting, small venues. This is still great though

  • sweet!!!!

  • hahaha shes on keys mf

  • Where is the bass guitar player?

  • dandys rule, ok?

  • essa musica é uma das poucas que conheço que parece melhor arranjada ao vivo do que no estudio

  • summer anthem!

  • duh. dandy's are best band around doin what they do - studio OR live. you're not SUPPOSED to experience live shit on U F'in TUBE, you're supposed to GO.

see 'em live, then see what you think. and see em at a small club. they don't disappoint.

  • heheh i agree but even so i can feel a great groove in the song and i actually like it MORE than the studio version. it seems like a really BIG song in this rendition.

  • anybody know what set they did here? all i can find is this one song. surely they would have done more than one song at glastonbury?

  • i disagree with everything about the live clip. i reckon it sounds TEN TIMES BETTER than the studio version. it's got a real stadium sound to it.

and that girl ...ooooh baaaby. i fell in love with her the first time i saw her but she's even more of an uberhottie here. i love the way she sways her hips like that. yum! be still my beating heart ... mmmm

  • The leadsingers voice sounds quite weak to me. Also the open hi-hat disturbs.

  • I'd like to hike up her green skirt. Oh yeah!!!

  • "up skirt" ME TO!

  • hmm, i think he didn't have enough weed, MOORE SLOW PLS

  • I really like this song...but the recorded version, not the live one...only really good bands sound better, or at least the same, live

  • see thats the thing about seeing your bands live... its not about which version is better is about experiencing the band you love on a totally different plane.

  • I spent a lot of time in recording studios...it's easy to make someone sound great, but when it comes to live gigs, they totally fail...I agree with you, but the band has to be good

  • The keyboardist is just wearing a cropped t-shirt to show off her tatts. NOW-I said TATTS not TITTS! That is so lame-style-wise, ofcourse.

  • Reminds me of someone special :)

  • wow, john peel at the end there

  • I LOVE this song but that chick in the band looks catatonic. You reach a point when you smoke so much pot from the Great Northwest that you start to exist in a vacuum. Now that lead singer is totally scruffy but I would all up on that in a minute-HOT!

  • i thought Courtney was Anton for a second there

  • great song

  • why is she using a MS 20 ....

  • 1:43 - His take on Anne from Little Britain llf

  • hahahahahahahahahahaahaha

  • lmao

  • deadly tune

  • Great song, but really strange performance!

  • the live version is so much.... different. still luv teh band

  • i find it better than the studio version

  • the best

  • Great band/ Shitty performance.

  • drummer has sick hair cut

  • Why is this song so much better recorded in a studio!!!! i know they usually are but not Massively better

  • i was there

  • terrific band

  • stupid band

  • Lol! Why does this have over 16 thumbs up?

  • Comment removed

  • What a tune!

  • I've attended Glaston-B and this is just the pick-up..when you are there its quite well done, acoustically soony...
