You could tell that was a show from the days of the company that did the "Action Pack" series; most of the same producton crew was used on all their shows.
If Universal had chosen to air on prime-time syndication like they did with the movies instead of trying to make it a prime-time series on a Cable channel known mostly for reruns and old movies (USA Network) they may have been able to at least eek out 2 seasons under contract alone. Instead they only got a partial season agreement and wound up not getting the ratings to go beyond even one season let alone a full first season.
Greg was in this? I had no idea... to sink sooo low as to do a Shatner novel. Greg, thank God you pulled yourself out of this hole with My Two Dads... Thank God.
@Primetime2262 Yeah dude, I was totally joking. I love Greg and all of his work. I don't particularly like Shatner all that well, but anything Greg is in I'll appreciate because of the work. Not to mention, this is SciFi baby, you got to love it just for that. Sorry I upset you. :/
@tempeck15 Well, My Two Dads was on way before TekWar. My Two Dads had ended 3-4 years before Greg appeared in the Tek films and series. The sad part is he really thought TekWar was going to take off and become a multi-season hit and he moved his family to Toronto an everything so that he could commute to the show without having to leave his family.
Tekwar was great, both the books & the TV series. Some of Shatner's best work. Sadly, the books are now out of print & the TV show didn't last long & it is not yet available on DVD.
Just to let everyone know William Shatner wrote the Tekwars Series of books. It's no wonder that he's in the show!

Man this show was on before everybody had the internet. Tek Wars version on the internet was way better than anything we got now.

Got to love the early 90s cheese of action television, though it was hugely imaginative.

TekWar is one of my favorite TV shows - unique storyline, great characters. Too bad it was cancelled. TekWar deserved much more episodes
