  • I loves me some Kirk!

  • ??

  • why hurry so? the tune is so much more interesting when played in a more relaxed mood - Jeff Beck (et al.) did understand that...

  • @vladgromek ....this comment is doubtful... one has to play songs in the way he feels it...so what do you want? ..but who cares....

  • @gtone2700 ...no offence meant...that's the way I feel, anyway. when you look at the original, you'll see how that piece has once been envisioned. personally(!) I think it's the tension between a relaxed groove and energetic solos that make this tune so remarkable. that being said it's in every musician's hands to make of it what he or she wants it to be. and well, I guess any musician will know it's damn hard to convincingly groove real slow...

  • @vladgromek ...I have to correct myself here. I found out that there actually are versions of this tune by Billy Cobham himself that are quite fast (or even hurried, in my opinion...). so it may be just be a matter of taste that I personally prefer the slower/relaxter ones... I didn't really want to critizise your playing as such (I'd rather wish I could play my guitar as well as you, Gerald...) ...but as you said: who cares...?

  • охуенно!
