Both same graphics. OpenFalcon is much more for hardcore pilotes, has full avionics of F-16 and enables you to set everything, FreeFalcon is more or less for common pilots which would like to fly something close to the reality, not just to spread 200 missiles.

And Ace Combat has a feeling to the franchise and gives more of an exitement flying combat missions, compared to Lock On, MSCFS and my F-22 and Typhoon sims :D

I personally like Falcon sims (based on Falcon 4.0) for it's complexity and reality.

It is all about personal preferencies, if you feel good "flying" different planes with same flight envelope, endless count of missiles and immortality Ace combat is a choise for you. If you decise that you don't like it, and want go deeper and closer to the feeling of a real pilot, you'll find your own way to the Falcon.

Surely, I like the complexity of Lock on too, hell, I work in the RDAF, the pilots there are having trouble handling it, just because it is so realistic.

This means, you have to have a lot of time on your hands to play a single combat mission, but if you feel like a quick dogfight, Ace Combat powers up quicker than the turbines of a Sukhoi SU-33.

i think this game is really good i would give it a 6.5 /10

i ahve only two problems with this game

1. when you get close to the ground the building and trees etc.. look like ps1 graphics they need to improve that add people ont he streets and cars.. etc so you can see them moving...

2. i wish you can take off and land without automaticly starting in the air ... i actually would like to see me taking off from the ground or landing and i am controlling it ..

There are taking off and landing in this game.

But you can't experience this game of viewing the streets and people walking around and cars driving around.. because then it's going to take very long to make the game and consoles need to have much powerful gpu and cpus otherwise it's going to lag and overheat faster

i have both a PS3 and an xbox 360, lets just say the Xbox pwns the PS3 like crazy.

PS3 doesnt keep up graphically

and the games just dont have good storylines other than the ones that are mixed between consoles.

plus more combat games that are actually worth playing are on xbox ex. Gears of War and Halo.

I love this game because you can immediately get the TOP GUN feel. If it was a SIM game it would not gain as much support as it has now. SIM games are too overly complicated and boring in my opinion. Like CAPCOM with RE:4

I've heard people talking about being able to engage that enemy squadron that comes in at the end of the demo (Played the demo about 7 times, and forgot their name already. Is this true? I've looked (albeit, not very hard) but could never find them. The squadron I had thought was them looked and worked like any other planes in the demo. (I heard the new squadron's AI is about that of a normal plane on Ace mode, which is why I wanted to fight)
