So far Wolf Eyes impress me throughly, I really dig this stuff.

Actually, the song you've just uploaded is Desert of Glue. Wretched Hog is basically the section you cut out. This track is two songs combined into one, much like they would perform live. I like them stuck together, but nothing tops Half Animal, Half Insane. Hopefully, everybody here checks out the rest of the album.

album art i think was made by nate young, one of the founding members of the band. I have always taken the cover art to be a somewhat abstracted study of a skull. maybe you can see a jawline, a teethy grin. darken areas for sockets. its pretty subtle.

Probably nothing. Most of Wolf Eyes' major-label records have artwork drawn by one of the guys in the band. They often don't represent anything, just a number of sinuous lines and dark colours.
