Awesome vid men. Plain, simple and helpful. Pay especial attention to the final section. You have to be very careful in the final corners. Also, don't be afraid to use other cars as "cushing" is not very clean but It'll save you a lot of hours of stress :).
The first lap is critical. If you can get the drift from the 2nd car as you pull into the stretch through the finish line, you are golden. You are pretty much in a position to squeak past the 1st place car around the bend the guy did in this one. At that point you just need to nail the corner after it, and you can gently take the last corner with no worries. Trying to pass the 1st place car on any other corner in the track is brutal. >.<
i think something is wrong with my game... is it possible, that the cellectors edition is harder? i´m seriously..? always when im looking on youtube, the enemys are doing much different as in my game.. i drive this challenge in 1.21,264 and the best place i can get is the third.. HELLLOOOO????

@zplitt9 I also have the collectors edition. Did it with 1:23 and 1:19. If your first lap is 1:21, then holy shit you're the man. If that's your second lap, its too slow.Make sure you drive fast in the second half of the track, and don't try something fantastic in the last few corners, just make sure you don't make mistakes there.

@gbenifits1968 I managed to do it eventually - Took me like 4 hours xD Just gotta keep trying and trying, eventually you'll get it.. Turn traction control off, use double braking, and feather throttle round corners :)
After 12 hours of pure frustation I fucking did it in gold!

This one was fairly tough getting gold in, but not even close as hard as the Nascar events or Red Bull X1 events..
