Great Bass playing, watched this vid a few times now and you look competent and relaxed. I'm trying to master this track (although I find it easier with a pick). Could you tell me what notes you are playing on the different sections at 1:58 & 3:50? Would be a great help. You'll do well in the band I'm sure. BTW can you play this track standing up!

at 1:58 its all hammer ons, so its F hammer on to G, Bb hammer on to C, F hammer on to G, Bb hammer on to C

at 3:50 its mostly the same just extended, F hammer on to G, Bb hammer on to C, F hammer on to G, Bb hammer on to C, F hammer on to G, Bb hammer on to C, Eb hammer on F then quickly pluck Eb again and back into the progression.

Agreed about the pick, i've been meaning to go back over this and re-post with me using a pick as I've gotten better with them

Yeah i can do this standing up as I have my bass at a height where it makes little difference whether im sitting down or standing up, not stuipidly high though!

Also if you want to check out the band im playing in (70's/80's rock covers) search "1927club" theres quite a few there.

Hi, Dan - this is great. I don't agree about the pick version. Listen to others on the site. It sounds so clicky. You have a lovely rhythm which only the fingers can support. Very, very good.

Don't suppose there's a chance you could do a video for us slowing things down a bit and giving us a step by step guide on how you do it pleeeeeze, coz i've got a tab for it, but the notes used are much harder to acheive, compared to the way you play it, making it look so easy, but i can't make out which strings you are playing. I'd be really gratefull :)
