Many Chinese immigrants excel by their 3rd generation and in fact, even achieve a higher social status than native Japanese. But we know there are prejudices from Japanese people, that's why the great baseball player Sadaharu Oh refuse to take Japanese citizenship, but opted for Republic of China passport.
