Having been to one of their live concerts I can say with all certainty that they are loud and they suck. The drummer is by far the most gifted musician, the rest are groveling little shits that would do well to pass out in an obscure cave. All that being said, HEALTH DISCO is worth a listen, do in large part because it's mixed by other people with a sensible taste in music... that is all.

If you really must compare them I think it would be better to talk about bands like My Bloody Valentine and Black Dice (they kind of remind me of The December Sound). Hell, they sound more like Lightening Bolt or Medicine or even Glenn Branca before Holy Fuck.
